Here at The Water's Edge Restaurant at Memorytown, we take pride in providing you a special and memorable dining experience. Sit lakeside, fireside or outside on the patio!

We are currently open Wednesday through Sunday from 5pm to 9pm. Reservations are strongly suggested but walk ins are accepted based on availability.

Our menu varies due to the seasonality of fresh ingredients we use, as well as our chef's weekly features. All of our food is fresh and made to order.

    If you’re planning to come here for a special occasion, don’t bother. When making my reservation, I mentioned that it was our wedding night and that the 2 of us were having our dinner there, so I requested a window table. Got there 10 minutes prior to the reservation time and all the window tables were taken. Plenty of room elsewhere so it wasn’t a matter of not having the space. They even acknowledged the fact that it was our wedding, so they saw the request. When a couple at one of the window tables finished and left, nobody bothered to come over and ask if we’d like to move to that table. Anyway…that rubbed me the wrong way, so instead of just leaving, we ordered appetizers and called it a night. The clams were pretty good but super salty. The Caesar salad had lettuce ends in it. Really wanted to love this place, but oh well.

    My friend I have been wanting to come here for a while and this was our first experience. We were delighted! The service was lovely, the food was excellent, and the vibe was very relaxed and enjoyable. We will definitely be going again!

    This was an excellent experience and time. We did the Chef Six Course tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was amazing and the waiters description of the food and wine was great. The waiter and all the staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall one of the best dinning experiences we have ever had. I would highly recommend going and enjoying.

    what a wonderful surprise. Our first time her and our server Mackenzie was amazing. Our food and drinks were wonderful. The lakeside setting was magical. My husband and son can’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. It was such a delightful experience. We are looking forward to our next visit.

    From the staff being very personable and professional, to the outstanding food, this restaurant in one of our favorites. Our server was exceptional. She kept checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy with the food, etc. Perfect dining experience.

    Overall the ambiance and service was incredible. The drinks were also very good but the food was less than impressive. I got the NY strip and it was very chewy and under seasoned. Also got the mac and cheese and Caesar salad. All very average.

    We went to The Waters Edge for our first anniversary. The restaurant was recommended by a friend. We are very happy we chose to listen, we had a fantastic evening. From the host, to the bartender to the waiter everyone was so friendly. Ambience was perfect. The food and drinks were great, I am a big dessert person and the dessert even came with a chocolate happy anniversary sign, super cute! Would definitely go again.

    My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary. As this was our wedding venue when we got married. We had an excellent time. They provided us with a free appetizer, because it was our anniversary and everyone came over and congratulated us. It was an amazing experience, the food was beyond outstanding!

    The food was outstanding- had the Chilean sea bass and the lobster risotto- Yum! Service was also excellent as our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful anniversary celebration.

    Nice location and frankly on of the best steaks we have had it quite some time. The strip steak was cooked perfectly, was tender and tasted like a steak - too many times there just isn't that beef flavor. Would recommend this quaint little place to anyone looking for a very nice meal.

    We have dined there several times and each visit was a good experience. However this time was much different. We waited 45 minutes to an an hour for our dinners. While waiting we were told by our waitress that they would be out very soon The food finally arrived about a half hour after this. Both entrees were barely warm. We sent them back when they were returned one was still barely warm. On the third try it was brought out hot. After our earlier experiment this visit was a great disappointment. The one plus is that the manager told us we would not be charged for the meals. We likely will not be returning to this restaurant.

    Great food as usual. Both my wife and I opted for the pan seared sea bass. Unfortunately, it was on the bit sweet side. Probably our fault for not checking the description of the dish more thoroughly. Everything else turned out excellent though. Will visit again next time I’m At Poconos area.

    Had the most amazing meal here last weekend. It’s a gem in the Poconos. The setting is beautiful, the service was amazing. If you’re looking for a special place to enjoy a night out with NY restaurant quality food, this is the place!

    The place was nice, and we had a beautiful view by the water. We appreciated that the restaurant was able to accommodate us, even after being 30 minutes late to our reservation. However, service from our waiter was terrible. First, we ordered virgin piña coladas, but they came with alcohol! The waiter argued with us about it. Told us there was no alcohol, even though we could taste it. Second, we waited an hour and a half for our entree. The waiter did not give us a heads up, never even followed up with us. The people who came after we ordered, received their entrees before us. We eventually paid for our drinks and appetizers, and left. The waiter gave us attitude after we spoke to the manager about our experience. It was unpleasant and we left feeling very uncomfortable. We were a group of six Black women and mostly everyone was white, including the waiter.

    Food was good, not amazing for the prices. Not sure if they were short staffed but drink turnaround time was extremely slow like I’m talking 35-40 minutes. From a hospitality stand point it did sour the experience, however, our server was great and very attentive and did her best with what she had to work with. With a full seated eat at bar there should be two bartenders with the amount of tables in the restaurant. It looked like there was a manager or owner walking around but seemed to only tend to one table of ladies he seemed to know. This was a bit of a disappointment seeing how the rest of his staff were doing as best as they could and could have used an extra hand. A busser to clear plates and refill waters would also be a nice addition so the servers can do their jobs more efficiently. Overall, we had a nice experience as a group and made the best of it as a table of 6 but our dinner took entirely too long from start to finish.

    Nice change of pace for fine dining in the Poconos. A little pricey for a family dinner but the food was delicious and presented beautifully. The wine list is on point. Our server, Erin was attentive and efficient. We had a toddler with us and they provided extra soft bread and a huge grilled cheese sandwich for him. Nice place for date night, celebration or a special night with friends.

    We had requested a waterfront table by the window in our reservation and when we got there we were very flippantly told that we could wait 45 minutes for one since everyone requested one. We finally settled outside. We ordered the tasting menu and got a very strange selection of food. Small dinner size rather than tasting with micro greens as a major part of every course and andouille sausage as one. Three of the courses were delicious but three were lacking. All six wine pairings were very good. All in all disappointing for the price

    Never disappoints. We arrived early for our reservation, but we were seated immediately. Our favorite server, Mackenzie was a delight. Always attentive and her bright smile is so welcoming. As always, I had the Steak Tartare (please never take it off the menu)! The other guests loved their Caesar salad and entrees. Staff are always stopping by to check in. The service is always outstanding. Highly recommend.

    Better than I expected. Food was delicious. My husband's lamb shank was fall off the bone delicious. The bread pudding dessert tasted homemade. Best of all was my dinner, the trout. Yummy

    The food was very good. My wife and daughter sampled several appetizers which were very nicely prepared and I enjoyed the lamb shank entree. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Prices are a little high but well worth the flavors.

    Food was delicious, fresh and so much taste. We got the white chocolate mousse and caramel bread pudding for dessert and they were very good we ate everything! , and drinks were tasty. Coming from Westchester NY it was very nice to find The Water’s Edge in our trip to the Poconos. Highly recommend

    My family and I were here just last night . This was our 2 nd time this summer. Once again service by McKenzie was impeccable. All other staff kept checking in on us and were all quite pleasant. The burger special was on the money!!!! We also had the chance to see a rainbow once again as we did during our first visit which is only possible because of the large open windows and captivating view. If you are staying anywhere in the area I HIGHLY recommend experiencing a meal here. ALL menu items be they cocktails, salads, entrees or desserts are just delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I’m already making plans for a return very soon.

    Was super happy!!! We first went there for Mother's day and got an amazing, attentive, kind, and lively waitress! Last night, our second time dining there, and months later, we got the same waitresses!!! She was awesome! The food was very very good with the one critique that the sour cherry in the Roasted Duck dish was a little too strong. The Lamb Shank fell right off the bone and didn't even require the steak knife that was provided.... YUMMMM!
