This was our first visit, but we ll be back !. The small offered a small range of choice (no hot fish or any chicken), so it meant all 4 of us went for the burger. It was probably the best burger I have ever eaten! - full of flavour, lovely texture, and a delicious garlicky mayonnaise to go with the chips on the side -- Yum!

Booked here as local to group and we’re celebrating family visiting from UK. The group was 6 in total and we had everything from wings, steak, mackerel , burger and macaroni cheese - everything was delicious. We weren’t waiting too long for food and service was good. They forgot a drinks order but when reminded it came straight away. We were stuffed with just mains so no dessert sampled but would return. The restaurant was busy not not packed but it was incredibly warm! Great local restaurant and tasty food and friendly service

Food was fantastic, quite a short menu but everybody at the table was very happy with their dish. Wings, Cote de Boeuf and Chocolate brownie stole the show. Waitress was so attentive but not in your face. A little on the pricey side but has moved to number 1 on our list for a meal out.

We enjoyed lunch here and love to keep it local, however some constructive feedback: The burgers were well received, but there is very little for a vegetarian (there were 2 of us amongst 6 adults) on the all-day menu, except nachos and the mac&cheese, which is the most expensive thing on the menu at €21, despite being very simple and what most restaurants would offer as a side. Small details here: It is stated as having chanterelle mushrooms, which would have elevated it, but it was served with regular button mushrooms. A veg pasta dish would suit the venue better.

My starter of feta & beetroot was gorgeous as were the wings. The main course of steak was a striploin, mine was a bit fatty, my husband’s wasn’t so much. They were cooked perfectly but the only sauce available was Bernaisse, which neither of us are mad about. The green veg was nice but the chips felt like they’d been left under the heat too long. We didn’t have dessert, I had a French coffee which wasn’t on the menu but they made it for me. Choice of wine was very good, and there were cocktails on offer, which we didn’t avail of but looked nice. Service was very good, ambiance was lovely. Nice relaxed evening. I would go back, but I’d avoid the steak next time.

Love this place food is great drinks are great staff is great can’t recommend this enough. In particular there is a lady that works there (never have gotten her name) she makes u feel at home and couldn’t be anymore laid back while also been so attentive. We will be back very soon.

Nobody came to us to ask us how our food was or to take our plates away or even offer desert after we were served our food. Waited 20 minutes and made it obvious we were finished eating by turning around and continually looking at the workers there to catch there attention just to ask for the bill. We were the only ones eating there at the time so found this extremely lazy. I ended up having to walk up to a waiter to ask for our bill. The food was delicious but very little to choose from. Wouldn’t go again.

Very disappointed 😞 with Menu.. we took the best of a bad bunch...to be honest could have had it anywhere...I've had better pub grub. Staff rushing around with $ signs. But they forget what people really want when the go to a restaurant. Rethink it . I used to love this place . I won't be back

Haven’t dined at the Washerwoman’s in years. Didn’t fancy venturing into town and it didn’t disappoint. We had the chicken wings and halloumi for starter, cote de boef for main and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All delicious, especially the starter and desert. Menu is limited so check before going but would definitely recommend.
