The Washerwoman
There will be a strong range of quirky and every day (!) wines befitting of a neighbourhood restaurant, which makes for a special occasion, or a casual dining experience. Given the locale and the fact that we hope to welcome families, there are exciting, healthy and accessible foods for kids (plus some little quirks to keep them interested, engaged and most importantly, occupied!), a host of diner classics, and a particularly extensive steak selection. We are working with some of our favourite craft butchers to create our own aging room and source some amazing salt-aged meats.

Consistently excellent! Lovely neighbour restaurant with superb food and service. They’ve also modified their restaurant appropriately to adhere to Covid restrictions and we felt very safe.
The only bad thing I can ever say about the washerwomans is that the portions are very healthy - so come hungry!!

Good lovely but beer list limited to craft beer and wine list expensive and no half bottle selection. There was no wine under €28 euro and the Rioja was €36 I think - wine is so cheap in the supermarkets why is there a huge mark when you go out to eat?
Swordfish and pineapple salsa was incredible. Staff were so nice and the cocktails were Great. Really enjoyed it.

Due to covid restrictions we had an outdoor table on a cold evening, but the restaurant had an excellent setup. The outdoor area was covered and with heaters, and blankets were provided which was a most welcome added touch.
Understandably, the menu was condensed but there was still a wide variety of main dishes. Food was delicious!

Our second time to eat here and definitely would return, their all-day fry is excellent and good value for money. COVID-19 precautions are perfect and gave cause for concern.
