   No pork so two dishes of the menu. Then the menu says root vegetables of which there were none only what appeared to be some kale mix (totally unappetising) A very disappointing Sunday experience

   We booked a table for early evening on a Saturday and when we ordered at least 4 meals were unavailable, on the 5th choice only 1 portion was left so two of our party couldn’t order what they had chosen. When we ordered dessert, two were again unavailable. Poor excuse given, we were told due to the new menu the dishes were more popular than anticipated.

   A wide choice of food available, cooked very well (although the veg was quite sparse with the main course), the ambience is nice, service was a quite slow with main course coming out of the kitchen - had to wait a long time between starter and main course - the waitress was great. Overall a really nice place.

   They accommodated a last minute increase in diners on a very busy evening. Food and service was fabulous. We really enjoyed the evening. Thank you

   Excellent food, apart from the cheese soufflé, that was not a soufflé... The service was outstanding, Lisa was very kind and professional. A little bit too noisy, but acceptable for a Saturday evening. Very satisfied, we’ll come back soon

   Our first visit since the restaurant was refitted. Nice ambience and the welcome was fast and efficient. Although we had arrived an hour earlier than our booking we were instantly shown to our table near the real open fire, very cosy. The menu, although, not vast was comprehensive and offered a range of choices to suit most tastes. The service was prompt and efficient and the food was well presented, tasty and reasonable value. Overall a good birthday experience

    Lovely restaurant! I went for Sunday lunch with my family, great food although service wasn’t particularly good! We had to ask the waitress for cutlery and condiments and never received the condiments. When she brought our food over she waited for us to take it off the tray, definitely requires more training especially in customer service!
