The food at this establishment left a LOT to be desired. If the food at the Warren was as good as the service, I would return. However, until that’s the case, I definitely won’t be back.

Brunch at the warren never disappoints!

A lovely and delicious dinner, the atmosphere was intimate, inviting and fun. Service was great and the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend the tuna tartar.

The food was fantastic, and the service was good.
We sat outside on the sidewalk (because it was full inside due to pandemic restrictions). The sidewalk had a kind-of steep slope so things would fall off the table. The tables were small too, so when all the food came out, there wasn't enough room.
I'd recommend this place invest in some decking for tables to sit on so they don't lean so much and get bigger tables.

Loved it and so did my mother! We made a quick stop here while we were shopping and my mother absolutely loved it.

Amazing spot. Great vibe, drinks, and food.

Took my server's suggestion and had the octopus as a starter. Maybe the best grilled octopus I've ever had. I played it safe with a burger for my main, and it was delicious as well. I visited in late March on a chilly night, and even though the doors were open nearby (a COVID precaution) I was warm and happy at my table. I'll definitely visit again.

Great oysters, lamb chops, mussels and drinks. Ashley was great and the owner/bartender fantastic. Will be back soon.

Service wasn’t great, waitress got our order wrong and wasn’t friendly at all. Also ordered a beer and she forgot.

I love The Warren! The food is formidable, the vibe is chill and family-like, service is top-notch. Located in the heart of West Village - what else would you wish for on a Friday night?! Parking is easy these days. Support small independent restaurants like The Warren - they need it the most right now.

The Warren is a staple in my brunch restaurants and dinner restaurants. The food is outstanding always. I will say that things were quite pricey - and I wonder if this is a function of CoVID and the shut downs. I understand how tough the last year has been on the restaurant industry. And I’m happy I can continue to visit the Warren in the future! Everything was great!

When we first arrived we were about 30 minutes early for our reservation. The hostess asked us to wait for a few minutes and a table would be ready. About 20 min later, we were directed towards the back of the main room and sat at a table in the corner. We were told by the hostess that the owners family would be coming in and had reserved the area where we had been sat so therefore our seated time was limited to approx a hour. My friend and I ordered drinks and several plates to share. The hostess happened to walk past our table so my friend asked for a dessert menu. She said they did not have one but mentioned the desserts and said she’d be happy to put an order in for one if we didn’t mind leaving our current table to re-sit and a different table to have our dessert since the area was reserved by the restaurants owner. We decided against dessert. We were both appalled and taken aback for the way our seating was handled. If indeed the area was reserved, then why even seat us there to begin with? Would not return based on service alone!

The hostess was very rude

Restaurant dining in the age of a pandemic is not easy. We were out-of-towners (family of five) looking for an outdoor dining experience in Manhattan on Valentine's Day. We were able to find this restaurant, and lucked out. The salads were great, and so were the burgers. We ate outside in a bubble with a heater. The kids (teens) loved the experience. The waitress was very attentive. Would visit again.

The brussels sprouts, twice fried chicken, truffle mac and cheese are our top favorite dishes of all time! The Warren is by far my favorite restaurant in NYC

It was our first visit and we really enjoyed the overall experience. Food was delicious especially the twice fried chicken! Their cocktails were also very good and refreshing. Love that they make all the juices and flavors in-house. We will be back!

Excellent all around. Nice hostess, sat us quickly and in a great corner table for Valentines. Every thing we ordered was delicious. The steak and the agnolotti were both must haves, the sauces were incredible. Loved my cocktail, and cheesecake dessert was yum and I don’t even like cheesecake. Would absolutely come here again and again. Highly recommend.

I really want to love The Warren. It's got everything I look for - small, decent food, killer cocktails and decent wine list.
But.
The noise levels are unbearable.
The food is WAY over priced. $30 for a burger?! C'mon.

Each time I go, I am reminded why I haven't been in a while. I keep wanting to love it, but I think I'm done.

Dimitri and his staff were so great and attentive! The drinks and apps were delicious - we would especially recommend the eggplant meatballs.

Amazing food and ambiance!

The Warren made us feel welcome and like things were back to “normal” with a fun, relaxed yet upbeat energy. Cocktails and food were also on point. Will definitely return for an Old Fashioned!
