The Warren, a gastropub serving unique takes on classic dishes, is a mainstay of the West Village food scene. A full bar with inventive cocktails, comprehensive wine program and craft beers compliment cuisine served late into the night.
Cremeux de Bourgogne / Gouda / Aged Manchego / Humboldt Fog / Tickler Cheddar / Truffle Pecorino
The Warren Burger
dry aged blend / onion jam / frisée / choice of cheddar, gruyere, or roquefort
whipped ricotta / basil
Such a fun spot where you can do small plates and split with the table or individual entrees, all of the food is great! Good drink selection as well.
The food was fine, particularly the Charcuterie with the Jamon Serrano, prosciutto Di Parma and the Truffle Pecorino, though the portion of the pecorino was skimpy. The Brick Chicken was good too. The beers are all bottled. Service was fine. Restaurant was very loud. Hard to have a conversation. The tables are close together and they don't check for vaccination or require mask wearing except for the staff. Can't say we felt safe.
The perfect spot for a date or birthday dinner. The food is amazing.
Stumbled upon this place and wow. Delicious, unique food, and cozy ambiance. We had the best time, I’d highly recommend!
Noise was very loud I did love how the lights was low and they had candles and etc
I had the hanger steak medium rare and I personally did not like it at all, I would stay away from it it tasted burnt on the outside they put to much oil and also it had a bad spice to it combination with the burnt no good The burnt taste was very overpowering you cannot enjoy the steak and the artichoke was dry
Watermelon salad was really good I did enjoy that we ordered that as an appetizer is shareable for four people
Mac & cheese really good must order delicious
Avocado croquettes they was okay not for me but my friends did like it to me it was missing something it was like just eating Fried Avacado
I would like to give it another try because I did like the ambiance maybe for brunch Or to try to octopus
I always love visiting the Warren! The food, drinks, and service are always great and the Warren is my go-to restaurant to bring friends that are visiting from out of town.
The service above all else was fantastic. The staff was warm and welcoming.
SO GOOD! A local favorite of mine. Eggplant "meatballs" are next level good.
Although we had a reservation, the only table available to us was outside. The Warren's outdoor seating is clearly an afterthought. Uncomfortable seats at a table too small for two on an uneven sidewalk several feet away from the restaurant. And the service was atrocious. Slow and non-attentive. Drinks came half way through our meal. We weren't given the opportunity to order our entree until well after we finished our starters. What a disappointment.
Literally the best restaurant in NYC. Every single item on the menu is incredible, affordable and the ambiance is amazing.
The food was amazing but it did take quite a while to come. Our server was fantastic and offered us a round of drinks on the house to make up for the long wait. Overall I’d recommend!
I picked The Warren on a whim and it didn't disappoint. We tried the tuna tartare, the garlic shrimp, tacos, and shishito peppers — all excellent. Also a really fun staff + great drinks. Will be back :)
We went out w/ family following an evening of entertainment. Great atmosphere, with food and drinks. Busy and quite loud place. But enjoyable time.
Only the one bar tender which made for delays in getting drinks periodically. But well worth the wait.
Totally fine but nothing special. Expensive for what it was. A/C did not seem to be working, which was not great on a hot July day.
It was very tight pack , but our hostess made sure our accommodations were met
The food was average and, in my opinion, not worth the cost of the restaurant.
Great spot with nice ambiance
Atmosphere and cocktails are much better than the actual food. Food is good, not great, and given the price points of high 20s to low 30s for small entrees its a bit disappointing. Ink pasta was overcooked and under seasoned. Salmon was well done which kinda ruined it. Side dishes were tiny. Cocktails were excellent. Net net: have a drink and go somewhere else for dinner.
Overall great food and atmosphere but felt like we got much better service from the bus boy than our waiter. We tipped him separately
Great service, attentive without being annoying, accommodated our growing party.
One of several cute places in the West Village. Food selection is fun and reasonably priced (by Manhattan standards) although a soda water from the gun will cost you 4$ which is pretty absurd.
Food was stellar. The pork belly was incredible and the poutine and burrata were also awesome. My friend and I split a bunch of the small plates and bites so we could try more and since the entrees were a bit pricey. Overall great, fun atmosphere and incredible food.
Great atmosphere even better food!
Great spot for sharing plates and good vibes.
5 for 60th birthday dinner. Started with 6 oysters (classic preparation, shucked perfectly), chicken liver fois gras with fig jam (creamy, very flavorful - need more toast points!), short rib poutine (yummy), and twice fried chicken (so crispy and the aioli was the perfect spicy accompaniment). Split two salads - the strawberry spring salad (delicate greens and goat cheese, nicely dressed), the burrata (delicious!). Unfortunately, they were out of the crispy pork belly - I honestly think we would have ordered one for each of us! Mains: Warren burger (perfectly medium rare, juicy while crispy on the outside), blue crab gnocchi (very generous portion, creamy sauce, gnocchi perfectly cooked), brick chicken (crispy, crispy skin and moist interior, lots of potatoes), grilled hangar steak (beautifully medium rare with crispy artichokes). Everything was super delicious and the staff were kind enough to bring the birthday "boy" a chocolate cake with a candle. Terrific meal!
Heat wave going on in NYC and it was a bit warm in the back where we were sitting but not anyone's fault. Definitely will return!
Brunch fir gay pride was great here! Terrific staff & food!
Always love it! Been going there for years. Twice fried chicken is always a winner!
Great food and service, despite it being absolutely busy and at full capacity.
The Warren is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. I could eat here every day! Love their weekday specials and fun chalk art on their welcome board outside!
Overall, I gave a good rating. The food is delicious. Only things I'd point out are, I asked for lemon a few times and they kept forgetting, finally got it after the 3rd ask. The apps came fast but the main course took forever. Also, it was really hot in there. I saw the AC was on but everyone was literally sweating. Overall though, I'd come in the fall and enjoy the food then. LOL
Father’s Day brunch was just perfect. The food was delicious and server was wonderful. Only issue was that the restaurant was very loud (but people are excited to be out and about after the Covid restrictions have been lifted).
Everything was excellent. Rarely do you find such attentive and friendly service and the brunch was also excellent. We will be going back again and again...
Amazing dinner. Randomly picked the Warren for dinner based on location and reservation availability. We couldn’t have be more pleased with the service, the great menu and quality of the food. Highlights included the deviled eggs, shrimp tacos and hamburger.
THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS!!!
OH MY GOD, THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS!!!
My friend and I enjoyed everything we had. The deviled eggs have a nice subtle kick. The pork belly was perfect. The mushroom flatbread was the right blend of crispy, gooey, and flavorful.
Service was excellent!!!
And THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS!!! Best I’ve EVER had!
It was rather hot inside, recommend they turn up the AC and the table was pretty scrunched.
The menu wasn't very extensive and the food was a bit overpriced. However, the staff was very friendly and the service was efficient.
Love Love Love… everything about this place … it’s quit cozy and small the hostess and waitress Ashley was amazing … everything on the menu is delicious.
Food was great, a bit noisy and crowded. Would recommend
Everything was absolutely wonderful! Best girls night out in a long time
Very rude waitstaff. Over 90 min wait for overpriced food. 20% gratuity was included despite horrid service. This place is a skip, not worth the headache
