The food was quite tasty and delicious
.we went to celebrate my husband's birthday.
We were in town for a quick trip and chose The Warehouse based on its other reviews. And the food, service and ambiance didn’t disappoint! We had delicious brunch entrees and would absolutely return again for lunch or dinner! The manager and wait staff were excellent!
We always have the best experience at the warehouse. The servers are so attentive, but not overbearing. The food is always cooked and presented to perfection. This is our “special occasion” go to. We’ve been going for 3 years and recommend to this place to everyone.
Very good food and very high prices.
Great meal and service by Russ
Food came out quick but was a bit smothered in sauce. Loud restaurant, but beautiful space.
Nice restaurant, kindly and quick service. Food, New York Steak, was cooked on the point.
Fantastic Food, Service and Drinks! Go here! You won't be disappointed.
Excellent food and service.
A-Mazing!!! If you’re looking at reviews to pick a restaurant...stop now and just make the reservation here!!!Wow...what an absolutely incredible meal!!! Have the seafood sampler if it happens to be one of the specials! You cannot go wrong with this if you like seafood! The She-Crab soup is out of this world delicious!!! We started with a half dozen oysters...also wonderful!!! The other couple we were with both had filet mignon and said they were delicious!!! We will definitely put this one on our repeat offenders list of restaurants for when we return for another visit!!!
We had no waiting for our table, however, the restaurant was packed and service was a bit slow. Food was outstanding so it was worth the wait!
The food and service was very good. It was really loud and we had trouble talking to each other over a late brunch. Next time we will request a table upstairs where I don't think it is so loud. Food was great, service was great, super nice restaurant. Definitely recommend.
We always enjoy our dining experience at The Warehouse. The service is exceptional and the food is nothing short of spectacular...EVERY...SINGLE...TIME.
The Warehouse is one of the nicest restaurants in Old Town. It is more on the upscale side. The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. This is our "go to" restaurant when we have guests in town.
Wonderful! Delicious food. Great staff. Our favorite neighborhood restaurant!
It was my husband and I 3rd anniversary and this is our favorite place to eat.
Wait staff did not seem to have any experience serving a table with children. Continuously set knives, forks, and hot plates in front of the toddle aged children. The waiter also opened a container, but left the lid on, with the appearance the container was still closed. One of the members of our dinner party retrieved the container, causing it to spill all over one of the guests and one of the toddlers at our table. There was an admittance from the waiter that he caused the issue, but no apology, and the restaurant made no effort to apologize or compensate for the waiter’s mistake.
Not what I expected from a pricier restaurant. Servers stared at us like they were Secret Service leaning against the wall and the filet mignon I ordered was under cooked and nearly ruined with the over portion of sauce and fried potato skins. The drinks were great though.
Great food, awesome cocktails.
The Warehouse is our favorite restaurant in Old Town Alexandria! Great food and service!
Service and the overall restaurant experience is great. Price and portions of food are reasonable.
Not the best meal I’ve had there. My medium filet was more medium-rare and my friend’s steak was a bit overdone. But service was great. I would suggest that the restaurant introduce mocktails in the beverage menu, as two people in our party didn’t drink alcohol.
This is one of the best restaurants on King St. in Alexandria. The quality of food and service has been outstanding each visit.
The quality of the food is always five-star. My husband and I are boring and always order the same thing: the Seafood Sampler. We begin with a cup of the She-Crab Soup. (OMG) Then, the Seafood Sampler, which includes a huge lobster tail stuffed with crab imperial (lots of crab), the most perfectly browned, roasted new potatoes you will ever eat, lovely steamed mixed vegetables, lemon wedges, a shot glass of melted butter, and bread/butter. My husband was too full for dessert this time, but I couldn't resist the Bourbon Pecan Pie with Vanilla ice cream. I had no trouble finishing this divine dessert. The Warehouse never disappoints.
Wonderful brunch! Can’t wait to go back and try dinner
Comfy, attractive decor and interesting surroundings for well executed cajun food. Very tasty sauces and seafood with very good service. Will be back soon and regularly
This was my second visit to give it a second try and the food was bland again, the shrimp bacon jalapeño appetizer sat under a heat lamp all day and was served hard. My husband‘s Porkchop was OK. I was raised under a chef and I don’t understand the hype at this restaurant, but it will be my last visit. My server was excellent. He had nothing to do with the kitchen. The New Orleans style Southern cooking is bad. Someone needs to teach the cooking crew what southern food is supposed to taste like and what the appropriate temperatures should be for the dishes served. I feel bad that I have to write this review, but good cuts of meat and seafood should not be wasted on unseasoned cooks.
Our server was great and the food was wonderful. The she crab soup is the best .
Glad we made a reservation got there at 5pm and then place was packed by 5:30. Definitely had a little confusion with who was our waiter but everything went great. I loved the she crab soup. Husband really enjoyed the alligator stew. Crawfish beignets had a wonderful sauce on them. Husband got the crawfish étouffée. He loved it! The spice was dead on and the crawfish were fantastic. We were so full we did not even get dessert.
Service was fantastic! It was fast, but you didn’t feel rushed. The reason why I didn’t rate as high on food and price is because the Warehouse favorite Steak ``Pontchartrain` was not flavorful at all and was quite expensive. Stick with the seafood dishes - Louisiana Crawfish Étouffe, She Crab Soup and gumbo soup were delicious. Overall I would recommend it.
We were rushed through our meal. We received our meals before we finished our salads. We were warned during our meals that the kitchen would be closing and we had to order dessert right away if we wanted any.
We had a reservation so we should not have been hurried. Staff stood watching as we ate, waiting to clear tables. It was very uncomfortable, even though everyone seemed nice. Either be open or be closed. Don't rush people. Food was okay, nothing great.
Very nice ambiance. Great place for date night and not pay too much.
This place is very nice. The food was delicious and it was worth every penny.
Intimate, romantic and quality of both food and service!
The fish was excellent. Very fresh and well cooked. Busy night on Valentine's Day, but they handled it so well.
Very nice place, great for special occasions. Pictures on of celebrities on the wall add character and ambiance. Food and service were excellent.
It was on the higher end with the price, but taking the location and it being known as a higher end restaurant it wasn't extremely expensive. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend.
This place is one of our favorite restaurants in Old Town. The food, staff and atmosphere are stellar. Do yourself a favor and ask for one of Alberto's tables. He makes your experience even better. I took my wife there this past Valentines day and they made our evening once again.
Many choices on the menu. Very quiet place (upstairs dining room). Good value (for the area). I will return without hesitation. Close by garage is an added convenience.
