Great service and food! Bread pudding was delicious.
Food was awful; Ash our server was outstanding
Open seating and we were placed right next to the cold draft from the door. Reseated upstairs with no issue.
Food was on time, but sat ready for a while, while we finished our appetizers. Mashed potatoes were firm and asparagus wilted & cold. Swordfish was good, but tasted flat.
Not my first choice if heading back to the area
Fantastic brunch. Everything was great. Started with gator bites. I had the seafood omelet that was very well done, I really enjoyed it. My buddy had the shrimp and crawfish etouffee, which was also amazing. Bloody Mary’s were real spicy and I like it hot but it was almost too much.
Would highly recommend this place
Underwhelming and rather tasteless.
Very nice restaurant. I would definetly recommend a friend.
First time at The Warehouse for Saturday Brunch - the food was excellent, I had the seared crabcakes with vegetable medley, hubby had the steak and eggs - both were absolutely delicious, we wanted the chocolate mousse for dessert, first they thought they were out, but our waiter managed to find one for us back in the kitchen - service was excellent, champagne and strawberries a wonderful addition for brunch. I also had a Peach Sangria that was one of my favorite drinks. Definitely coming back.
It was a really nice experience with great breakfast
This was our first time eating at the Warehouse and it was a treat! I have seen instagram photos of their offerings and they tasted as scrumptious as they looked! Staff was on point, available but not too much, We will definitely be back!!
Food was amazing!! Staff was very friendly and professional! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
Best crab cakes and the shecrab soup was excellent.
Very impressed with our very first time to dine at The Warehouse. We'll be back.
The atmosphere was upscale and the ambiance was refined; however, if you are looking for New Orleans inspired creole food, this is not it. Seasoning was not robust. They opted to fry the catfish instead of blackening it and rice was not dirty. The crabcakes lacked seasoning as well. The basics are there; however, the restaurant appears hesitant to commit to the cajun genre. Disappointed.
Service was great but the gumbo and veal were heavily salty. Others in the group had the rockfish which tasted great.
Wonderful she crab soup! Always just right.
My date and I had a wonderful time at Warehouse. We arrived at our reservation time and were seated immediately. Our server was very courteous and completely focused on our enjoyment of the dining experience. The scallops with chips appetizer was exceptional. We fully enjoyed our main courses which were the crab cakes and salmon. We will definitely return.
Great food and great waiter-Roberto!
Loved the Warehouse, excellent food and great service!
Good experience! Will go back.
Great service and food. She crab soup is my favorite.
We are from Louisiana and have missed the southern cuisine desperately. The Warehouse deserves 5 stars all the way around!! The sauces were excellent, the fish was fresh, and everything was prepared perfectly. We will definitely return !
ordered drinks, 1 out of 3 were wrong,
ordered two appetizers. one was uneatable and sent back
ordered four entrees. a medium rare was, cooked well done. sent back
were given a drink on the house for miscues
Came here for my mother's birthday, would've loved if a complimentary dessert was offered to her, but overall, an amazing experience
Brunch wa exceptionally well prepared with popular southern dishes like eggs Hussard and fried catfish and grits. An overall great experience.
Loved the service and the food was excellent.
The food is terrific, well prepared and presented. The staff is extremely cordial. We have come here before for lunch and it is ALWAYS enjoyable.
Stellar service, outstanding meal!
We celebrated my mother's birthday at the Warehouse with brunch. Service was wonderful, food was delicious, atmosphere was sophisticated yet warm and not too loud for conversation.
I enjoyed everything about The Warehouse. We were running a few minutes late for our reservations & received a courtesy call to make sure we were keeping our reservations. Once arrived we were seated right away. The service & the food was excellent. We also had a beautiful view of King Street. I can’t wait to go back with friends!!!
Great atmosphere and service was prompt and courteous. The dinner menu offers New Orleans style seafood with several of the fish entrees including crawfish, and meat entrees that are very large portions of beef with few vegetables. I do recommend the Warehouse as the environment is so pleasant, if you like crawfish, shellfish and steaks.
From beginning to end...food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. I’ll be dining here again.
In my open table reservation, I added a comment that we would have one diner using a motorized chair. I was concerned with the need to accommodate storing it out of the way of diners and staff during dinner. The restaurant provided us a table with room for the chair nearby. We then enjoyed excellent food, in a quiet atmosphere where we could hear each other.
All around great! Server was amazing !
Excellent all around. Best crab cakes ever. Charming location, wonderful service.
Excellent food. I lived in Louisiana for 6 years. This food is 100% authentic. The gumbo is the best I’ve had outside LA and the seafood is seasoned perfectly
We had dinner here early (5:30) on a Sunday night during a holiday weekend. It was pretty quiet when we got there but filled up quickly and was relatively packed by the time we left. The dining room is a cool large first floor of a townhouse/brownstone with a small bar in the middle, and the kitchen seemed to be upstairs. Service was excellent throughout, both quick and attentive, yet perfectly unobtrusive for our quiet date night. The food was great, as well, and I ordered completely off the specials menu, which is unusual for me but worked out very well. Fried alligator appetizer and braised short ribs for me, surf and turf for my wife (the surf is crab cake which is awesomely DMV), and everything was done well and tasted great. The menu had a lot of range, leaning towards Southern/Creole seafood, but there were plenty of other options if that isn't your scene. Based on this experience, I definitely want to go back and try the crawfish etouffee, fried catfish, and pasta jambalaya, as well as to see what other specials might be in store. Honestly, the only changes I might have asked for in a perfect world was to dim the lights and turn up the background music a little bit for ambiance, but I think that hardly counts as a complaint.
Too loud and much more casual than we expexted, but overall we enjoyed it.
Every time we visit family in Old Town we head to The Warehouse for the crab cakes and this week they were as delicious as ever — both times!!
Food and drinks were excellent.
Celebrating Valentines Day this weekend in Alexandria. Wonderful experience! Food was excellent!!
