The Ward - Buffalo Riverworks
We are proudly part of the Pearl Street Family of Companies, and committed to Buffalo’s renaissance, “Rebuilding Buffalo, one pint at a time!” Our fully functioning brewery, retrofitted into the former Wheeler-GLF grain elevator, is what we believe to be the first brewery inside a silo in the world! With three expansive bars inside our main facility, the fourth bar is located within the silo, adjacent to the Riverworks Beergarden. More information in the PRIVATE EVENTS section of OpenTable. Everything was pretty great. Our salads, wings, and pizza were prepared exactly as requested, and our servers were courteous and attentive. Definitely a good place to check out!
Took the entire family, first ice skating. Then just walked right over to the Ward, and was greeted right away by a friendly host. Who promptly took us to our table. Drinks came fast, as well as the food! Wife had the Poutine tater tots and they were amazing. No complaints here, nothing but a great experience!
Had a great experience. Just wish there were a few more solid options for people with dietary restrictions.
Great atmosphere, good for families. Food was ok, service was excellent!
The three of us had an early dinner here before our sons hockey game. The food is always prepared the way we like it. My family and I enjoyed the meal very much. The service for our dinner was top notch.
Amazing service- nicholas took great care of us. The food and drinks were great! We can’t wait to come back!
The food was glorified cafeteria food. I ordered the pot roast melt and i sent it back. The pot roast was a hunk of fat and inedible. The server was very nice however due the the spacing of seating he was walking back an forth across the whole venue in order to get anything which resulted in a lot of waiting. Wouldn't go back.
The food was better than I expected. The waiter was very polite but things took a little longer than expected. It was also freezing in there. Perhaps some space heaters could be added? Maybe a fire place in the future?
We had a great dinner. There was plenty of space between tables. There was live music. Great Eveneing.
Food was good, service was slow- server had too many tables. It was so cold inside that most people wore their jackets. Better options if you want to enjoy your meal.
It was freezing inside! The rest of the night was great but had to wear my jacket the entire time
Came for a chapter meeting with my women’s motorcycle riding group. Had a lovely time. Will definitely be back!
Ordered chicken noodles soup, received clam chowder.
Received chicken noodles which was luke warm.
Had to look for waiter to pay our bill.
The music by Bruce Wojick was the best thing and I will come back to here him sing.
It was a very windy and cold evening but nice and warm inside. The service was professional and the food was great.
Service was mediocre at best. Couldn’t get refill on our drinks and asked for ketchup that I never received.
Incredible mac and cheese, a new menu item!! Craft beers are always outstanding!!
Our server was great his name was Trevor.. Food and drinks were amazing.. We had a great time thank you Buffalo Riverworks and the ward for a great night out.. My friends and I enjoyed very much
Peyton was fantastic . She was able to hold down the entire second floor during the Bills game and still provide fantastic personable service. I can't say enough good things about the experience and will be absolutely coming back again !!
We love Riverworks, it's our favorite restaurant. We will recommend this restaurants to all our friends. We usually come every weekend. We love everything about it. We are very happy they are open again.
Keep doing these it was awesome. The energy and environment was great, could see the TV no problem, food and drink was on par overall great experience
The food was amazing and our server was awesome !!!!
Great experience
I’ve been here before for drinks to catch up with friends, lunch with a date, dinner to celebrate graduation, and for drinks after a wedding. Each time there was great service and food! Never dissapoints!
The service was terrible. There was barely anyone there and it took almost 30minutes before someone even took our drink order. The food was okay, but I ordered a meat lovers pizza and got something completely different. Then there wasn't even enough time to get what I actually ordered because of "last call". They didn't even take it off my bill. Never again.
It was just meh.... Covid regualtions have made a huge place just ok
Love coming to Riverworks & eating at the Ward. End of season & with Covid .... was limited menu but the pot roast sandwich is always great & I tried fish fry for first time - would get again!
Fun time and amazing server.. only 1 issue.. forgot an item when we ordered it
This didnt River work for me at all. The service was sub par and the food was awful. The pizzas were undercooked and worse than a frozen pizza. Actually, frozen pizza would have been better. The chicken sandwich was over buttered and the mustard sauce was more like a mustard drizzle. The only good part was the fries. The service, for being pretty quiet at 7:15 pm on a Friday, was slow and he kept forgetting to bring a cup for my husbands beer. But brought him another beer he didn’t ask for. The price for the pizzas were not equal to their quality. Don’t waste your time going here for food. It’s gross. And we had spiders and an ant on our table.
We’re here visiting from NYC and this place was recommended by the hotel we’re staying at. It’s located by the water in the industrial district. The food was amazing! We ordered Tater tot poutine and brisket melt sandwiches with their home made chips. 5 out of 5 stars. Going to try to go back before we leave.
Highly recommend going there.
Food was really good!! The service was slow considering that the place was pretty dead. It was nice they had a band and football on the giant TV.
Excellent food and service. They had live music tonight by Skyline Duo who were great! Beautiful night by the water.
Liked at menu on open table chose restaurant based on available selection. Got to location to find only a few items were available. Food was mediocre at best. Wings under cooked and soggy. Pizza not fully cooked in middle.
Great place for entertainment and fun. Awesome view of the water and exciting things to do outside.
Our waitress was incredible, never waited a second for anything. Great pizza
Awesome. First time going and we will go back for sure.
There were 9 in our party and initially we were going to eat outside, but the weather was colder than expected so we asked if we could sit inside. The host was amazing and arranged a big table for us inside. Tyler was our waiter and was very polite and attentive. I will definitely be back!
Wonderful as always
This was the worst experience we have ever had. You can’t easily get there because roads are closed. Then the bridge on the river was up so that took another 20 minutes. A total mess. When we finally got there friends had arrived.
They sat the 6 of us at 2 high bistro tables in the bar area.
We couldn’t possibly eat there and enjoy each other’s company. We asked to be moved to another table that was empty and they said that was for reservations. We said we had a reservation and they didn’t care. We left and went to the Swannie house which was fabulous. Never again will we go there.
Nothing special about the food but venue and views were nice.
Conservative crowd, but otherwise, a good experience.
