The drinks at the Violet Hour did NOT disappoint. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing we did not enjoy was the loud music that started playing around 10pm. I know it’s a Saturday night, but in such an intimate setting it was distracting and made it difficult to hold a conversation or hear the server.

Very sexy vibe. Creative, tasty cocktails with passionate, knowledgeable and pleasant bartender Brandon. Overall, a lovely place.

We go to Violet Hour each time we visit Chicago. They always have an excellent variety of cocktails to choose from. If you like Craft Cocktails this is definitely the place to stop.

Really cute! I enjoyed everything about it. I recommend not driving, parking is limited.

Start to finish a great time. Our server was excellent, he knew the ins and outs of the entire drink menu and steered us in the right direction each time. We never felt rushed and the vibe is great. We’ll be back!

we were in town from milwaukee for the blackhawks game, and i asked chatgpt for "hidden gems close to the united center". violet hour was one of the suggestions, and i am SO happy we came here! we loved the atmosphere, it was very nice, dim, cozy, romantic, but not stuffy. the drink menu was very creative, and i didn't feel like the pricing was out of line for the quality. the chorizo dates-loved! sweet, salty, a little spicy, very reminiscent of good baked beans (compliment!). i docked a star for the chips and dip, only because there could've been more dip/better dip to chip ratio, but the flavors were great! would absolutely recommend, and we look forward to returning!

The Violet Hour had a chill vibe and the cocktails were incredible. I normally wouldn’t spend that much on a cocktail, but they were incredible and you can tell the bartenders carefully thought out every little detail.
