    Eddie is a super person for the job. He has an outstanding personality and every time we eat there we ask for Eddie. He is a keeper. Martin has an outstanding staff and always eager to assist customers in any way he can to make sure they are service well.

    This was my first experience at Vintage and they did not disappoint at all! From the minute we stepped in, we were treated awesome! Our waiter and his helper were superb in every way! The food was to die for! I had a ribeye steak and it was delish!!!! The wine was great as well!

    We have finally found a true fine dining experience in Shreveport. The service and ambiance met and exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent. Our server, Edin, was excellent. It was refreshing to have fine dinner where the service complemented the cuisine. Our table was cleared promptly and efficiently. Edin regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was subdued and elegant. There weren’t tvs and bright lights for our fine dinner unlike another place in town that pretends to be upscale. We would recommend this establishment to anyone unlike a few others that we’ve tried. The hostesses even thanked us and wished us a nice evening. Service is key and Vintage makes an effort to excel.

    Food was excellent as always. Some had seafood some had steaks all were very satisfied with their choices. As usual,, Ben did an excellent job. The young man that helped Ben also was excellent. Thanks for a great birthday experience!

    Anniversary dinner. We requested Dino as our server and he was great as always. The helper, I’m sorry I do not remember his name, was great as well. Both were very attentive as we’ve always experienced at The Vintage. This restaurant has always been most consistent in delivering great food, great service, and a great experience. This is our favorite restaurant in town by far. Thank you once again for a wonderful dinner and a wonderful experience that keeps us looking forward to coming back time and time again.     The lambchops were flavorful and tender. Loved the sauteed spinach! Was disappointed in the filet..not seasoned and not worth the price. Very good ambience. Perfect for a romantic couple's night out.

    Ben was our waiter, and our experience has always been wonderful with him. He has a great memory and remembered how we like our Filets cooked. We first had French Onion soup. After our steaks, we had Crème Brûlée. If you are ever there for a birthday dinner, Ben also has a wonderful voice when he sings Happy Birthday. He truly is an asset to Bally’s. 5 star dining at its best.

    The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great, but the meal wasn’t that good. I am a steak connoisseur and I’ve had better steaks at Saltgrass.

    It's been almost a month since my wife and I ate at Vintage, but we felt it important to leave an honest, although maybe a lengthy review. In January, we decided to use Shreveport as our halfway stop on a trip to visit relatives in south Louisiana. We wanted to stay in a casino so that we wouldn't have to look or drive for drinks and a restaurant. We chose another casino, but we ended up at Bally's in a search of decent drinks and food, and we discovered The Vintage. We weren't too hungry, so we sat at the bar where we met our new Shreveport bartender friend, Richard (Ricky). We had wonderful appetizers of quail and crabcakes, both of which were absolutely delicious. We had great conversation and drinks with Ricky. So, the next time, which was the end of March, that we were going to south Louisiana, we decided to stay at Bally's because The Vintage was there. We arrived early, but the hostess kindly seated us anyway. This is our experience in a nutshell: we have spent double the money we did that night at other restaurants and walked away sorely disappointed, but we had one of the most enjoyable meals we've ever had at The Vintage. Let me just say Ricky is a master bartender. Our drinks were wonderful. He makes simply the best Manhattan I've ever had, and he was even kind enough to write his secret down so that I can make them at home! We were fortunate enough to have James as our server. He was perfect! He let us go at our own pace, he was attentive, and he was extremely funny! Now, for the food. My wife NEVER orders steak out because she doesn't think anyone cooks steak as well as I do. Let me tell you. She has RAVED about her filet to anyone who will listen! My ribeye was incredible! No, this is not an inexpensive steak restaurant, but it is one of the best experiences you will ever have. I promise! We can't wait to make another stop at The Vintage on our way to south Louisiana! I wish I had taken pictures, but we were too busy eating.

    It was good, though expensive. The food was delicious. I wish the server had been more responsive, but it seems like he had ti be everywhere at once. I don't really blame him. The music was a little on the loud side, but had good selection. Overall, it was a good experience with only a few minor things to be picky about. I'm sure that it could just as easily be a five star experience considering how delicious the food was and how nice the server was. My girl gives it a 5 star experience, so I'm plenty happy with it.

    Great experience!! Our server was sensational, as were all the other helpers. Never saw the bottom of my water glass, which was impressive. Drinks were replenished, instantly. Love the illuminated menus… perfect for people over 40!! Also, really love the larger tables. Food was really good. Appetizers and salads were a hit. The soup was bland; onions weren’t flavorful and caramelized. Main entree was a little disappointing. I had chicken, which was also very bland. Others had fish, which was less than sensational. My main suggestion would involve the food presentation. The chicken was thrown on a plate and the fish was sitting naked. Otherwise, it was a great time. Our server’s voice alone made our meal super fun.

    Been going here for years we love this place food is delicious try the blue cheese encrusted ribeye it's one of the best steaks ever!!! Eddie our waiter is awesome best service your ever going to get. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

    We have been here a handful of times now. Food is always great. The past 2 times, we had 2 different servers who were attentive and friendly but didn’t pay as much to detail as would have been expected since our bill is usually close to $250 or more. The last time we were there, my steak was mixed up with my friend’s. We didn’t realize it until we had been eating on them… He got my medium rare and I got his medium. Sigh… Then most recently… I met my friends there for my 50th birthday dinner… Their cheese grits were so salty, they couldn’t eat them… then our bills were not split up with the correct items… the prices were the same but the items were not listed as we had ordered them… And finally… The waiter brought me the dessert menu since it was my 50th birthday… told me to pick something out. I did. My friends picked something out for themselves as well. When the bill came, I ended up paying for my ???? complimentary???? dessert as well as our friends. Sigh… I’m not one to ask for freebies or anything. We have had anniversary dinners there in the past and didn’t ask for the free dessert but had one brought to us anyway. I didn’t ask for the dessert menu this time… But the waiter knew it was my birthday because he kept saying so over and over. Just felt awkward to make a big deal about it and then still get billed for the dessert.

    The food was very good. The service was very good. What was not good was the portion size of our snapper. For $49 you would expect a nice filet. That’s what we had back in December. Last night however, the snapper was about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. It was actually a sliver of snapper. Is there a snapper shortage? So it’s Valentines and we wanted the chocolate cake. They we sold out. Who sells out of chocolate cake at 7 pm on Valentines night? We were just very disappointed. We don’t mind paying for quality but just don’t like to feel like we were taken advantage of. The amount of food for the price was ridiculous. At other fine dining locations in Shreveport/ Bossier such as Ernest Dinner Club or 2 John’s, I can assure you that the snapper is a much bigger portion. We left feeling cheated. Not sure we will give it another chance any time soon. By the way we were not only celebrating Valentines but the 15th anniversary of our engagement that happened right there. Disappointed.
