   Another Excellent Sunday Lunch We had Sunday lunch at The Vineyard and, as with previous visits, everything was spot on. The food was delicious, the service friendly and professional, and the newly refurbished interior looks fantastic. The only thing I’d suggest is improving the curb appeal. The flower beds outside could do with a tidy and some fresh planting – it would really help the restaurant make a better first impression and attract more passing trade. That aside, a great experience as always

   The Vineyard is a high quality restaurant with a great team, excellent food and a lovely ambience. Simply a cut above most of the other restaurants in the area. Thoroughly recommended.

   🤬😡Unfortunately I am unable to leave 0 as a rating. I had booked for Mother’s Day, really wish I hadn’t. Previous reviews had been good. This was a set menu. After an hour we had not received a starter. Others had just received a main after two and a half hours. The staff were all on trial. Shocking, so many people, including us, requested a refund of our deposit and left. Thank you for making Mother’s Day so special for so many people.

   Mother’s Day disaster. Booked for 3:30pm and waited 40 minutes with another 20 people for a table to be ready. Had to order drinks at the bar as staff didn’t speak with us within the 40 minutes. Sat down and watched as diners were helping the staff set up tables for them. Other diners said they had been waiting for their main course since 1:30pm, and stated the chefs were all on trial shifts. That’s when people began queuing for their deposit back, which I managed to do after we waited an hour for our cold starters which we sent back. Advice for the restaurant would be to not allow trial shifts on one of the busiest days of the year, and perhaps warn customers prior to asking for hefty deposits. Myself and the majority of customers spent the evening attempting to get takeaways at home. No apologies since, and no contact from the owner.

   Newly reopened restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great. Have been here 3 times and will definitely go back. If anyone is looking for a different restaurant to try, I would strongly recommend this one. Great service, great food and amazing staff.
