The Vineyard Rose is a lovely restaurant for any occasion. I was celebrating my birthday and stayed at the South Coat Winery Resort which I highly recommend. The food is top notch and very delicious!

Definitely do NOT go there for the service...REALLY BAD! Food was just O..K. - prices are reasonable.
I had made brunch reservations for my family, to celebrate my wife's birthday. BTW...It's reservations ONLY! Reservations were for 11:30A Sunday. We arrived a little early (10:45A) and the kids were hungry, so I went to check-in. The hostess told me that they were running on-time and that our table would be ready at 11:30 (our reservation time). Ok, so we decided to walk around the grounds a while until then. We came back at 11:30 and had to wait in-line. When we got up to the Hostess (again) she informed me that they were now running behind and that out table wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes... She asked that we sit right behind her and that the very next patio table would be ours. So while we waited, we noticed her take a party to the patio...ok maybe there was a good reason? Then we watched her take another party to the patio. This time my daughter got up to go inquire. The Hostess said she would take us now (she had forgotten about us).
We get seated and it takes 10 minutes before anyone acknowledges us, takes our drink orders and leaves. 15 minutes later my wife still had not gotten her wine she had ordered. I inquired with the busboy and the waiter finally brought it. Our food was another 30 minutes later...
One note: This place was only about 60-70% full. I can only imagine what kind of business potential they could have if: 1. They actually hired customer service oriented employees, 2. They accepted walk-ins during the times that they are not at full capacity. We saw them turn away party after party of people that did not have reservations, all while the place was only at 60% of capacity. However, if they cant provide decent service while only at 60% of capacity, there is no way that they would be able to handle another 40%... Will never be going back!

Absolutely horrible. Poor service, delayed food - so bad that we sent the appetizer back and left. Also advised that we’re celebrating an anniversary and they did nothing. Go someplace else.

I ordeed the filet mignon and my wife ordered the Chilean sea bass. Both plates were good ,but expected better for the price. I also ordered the soup de jour and the Cesar salad and both were average at best. I would come back for the Happy hour, good wines and craft beer.

Generous portions, and some dishes cooked very well like the tasty spinach dip, the lobster Mac and cheese and the side vegetables. But our prime rib and lamb were both undercooked and not as requested. They commented on us arriving a bit late but it was a slow weekday evening so that seemed a bit unnecessary and they made no accommodation for the children whatsoever so I guess they are not welcome. Overall we were a bit disappointed for the price.

Wasn’t very impressed with the brunch menu. It was just a variety of lunch and breakfast menu. They didn’t do anything special for the Easter holiday.

We come here every year for the Easter Brunch. We were extremely disappointed that they’ve done away with the buffet. The menu was very limited, many empty tables, etc. There’s just something special about the buzz of a holiday brunch. This was a huge disappointment. We won’t be back.

Strongly recommend outside patio seating (weather permitting, however). Delicious food presented well. Excellent wine choices. Ambiance is among the best.

Service was somewhat slow but if not in a hurry this isn't a problem. Lunch menu provides an adequate variety of food.

Day after wedding. We wanted to have a nice meal at a winery. This served the purpose perfectly. I had risotto, it was very good. My wife had the filet and she liked that as well. Wine was superb, good selection, lots of wine by the glass.

The food here was really good. Overall our dining experiences in Temecula were less than stellar. All the other places we ate at seemed to not know how to properly season the food. We found most everything to be bland. But NOT here. The seasoning was great and the good was really good. The restaurant was really nice on the inside too. It had high ceilings and cool wood beams. I'd definitely go back!

Food was not terrible however had no flavor. Extremely overpriced which made the food even more disappointing. Biggest disappointment was notifying the restaurant ahead of visit that it was my wife’s birthday which made it a special occasion, restaurant made no acknowledgement of this during our dining. First impressions are everything, I would not give this restaurant a second chance.

Went to the Vineyard Rose for brunch, which was perfectly pleasant. The banana pancakes were good, but I would probably try a different restaurant on our next visit to the Temecula wine district

Two of us ordered prime rib. One was ordered med and the other was ordered med rare. We were told there was no med rare avail. When they arrived at the table one was med and the other one was well done. It was not the servers fault, he was unaware the well done prime rib was delivered to the table that way... but unacceptable non the less. They were accomadating and let me order the filet mignon for the same price(maybe a saving of $6)..It was cooked correctly and that meal was very good, but I ate alone, since everyone else at the table was done. So, I do not think it was a $200 meal(w 1 glass of wine and 1 beer)...We were expexting much better quality. On a high note, we had a GREAT server named Phillipe. If not for him, they would not have received any stars above 3.

the winery is quite beautiful sitting atop a hill surrounded by vineyards.
The restaurant was quite beautiful although we opted to sit and eat on
the terrace. Food was quite good, and very reasonably priced. If you find
yourself in Temecula, make this a stop.

Food was bland, pasta sauce was broken and swimming in oil. Sent the Sea Bass back because it smelled and tasted old. Overall price was very high for the quality. Avoid the waste of time going there.

The service was great, as always. But the menu is not very inspired. For the price you can get better food around town if you know where to go. I was disappointed that the flourless chocolate cake was removed from the menu. Getting my meal gluten-free was not a problem, which was a plus.

Food was delicious. Calamari fries amazing. Short ribs with polenta yummy! But side of Brussels sprouts tasteless. Unfortunately it took almost 2 hours to get our entrees. Discounted our bill which was nice but this shouldn’t happen in this type of place

My wife and I had the prime rib which was very good. Prior to that I had the arugula salad and my wife the Calamari both of which were very good. We were there with our daughter and had a nice conversation as the noise level is accommodating. South Coast is one of the most beautiful wineries in Temecula as well.

Entrance to restaurant was poorly marked, hard to find after dark. The hostess made us wait 10 min. even though we were early for our reservation and there were dozens of empty tables. The wait staff were good and the food was good. Big portions but very salty.

Our first visit to this winery for food. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the outdoor seating. Our servers were attentive and charming. Our brunch order arrive in good time and was hot and delicious. My choice of bananas foster was plentiful and the bacon was crisp and slightly smoked. Just perfect. The chilaquiles included pinto beans not refried beans, a nice touch.
We will be back.

The sea bass was served in 3 mini pieces. Use a whole cut of the fish. My prime rib was cooked medium rather than medium rare...it tasted like yesterday’s dinner and like it was warmed up rather than fresh. Our cappuccino tasted burned and not fresh. Our first time out to Temecula to South Coast winery. Very disappointing...
