Tina is a terrific server. The appetizers were fabulous: Pear/proscuitto flatbread, brussels and arrancini! We ordered 2 entrees to share between 4 people - the pickerel was delicious (it might have been perch - can't remember), but served with a heap of crispy fries - yummy! My husband and I ordered the Salmon which looked delicious, but on slicing it in half, it was raw on the inside. We sent it back and just took it off the bill as we had enjoyed the appies, our wine and beer and were saving room to end the evening at Dairy Freez.

The food was well thought out, well cooked and well presented. It was priced as expected. The dining room is large, utilitarian and in need of an injection of warmth and colour.

Absolutely fabulous food, with delicious specials! Had a fully belly from the glazed Brussels sprouts and fried perch and a carrot bisque, but still could not resist the key lime pie! Wine pairings written in the menu were perfection, not usually a white wine drinker, but went for a glass of the Mantra and a Riesling and both were smooth and sweet. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely dinner at The vines restaurant and were so accommodating of my father in laws celiac disease and confirmed with the chef that the salmon special was in fact gluten free! Very wonderful waitress with excellent recommendations! We will be back for sure!!
