Excellent 7 course meal! Definitely worth going.
Food was ok it seems like in every course the main carácter was Brie cheese. Service was so slow and strict. The view was nice. Overall experience was new but for the price disappointing. Not coming back
Food was OK: Guests were not expecting a fine dining tasting menu. Fine dining is not for everybody. Brie Cheese: Only the appetizer course had Brie cheese. The dessert course she also chose was a cheese and fruit course. Slow Service: The guests came early and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes. Seated at 5:24 and paid for a 7 course meal at 7:24. We should have seated them somewhere to wait with a glass of wine. Nice View: Thank you! Disappointing Price: $75 for a prix fixe dinner.
Anniversary
We thank you for your review. We understand that with the COVID restrictions as to where we can have diners, the ambiance is not the same as when you would be normally seated in our dining room. We are grateful for your 4 star review but we are not contented with it. We will continue to seek the path to earn a 5 star review in your next visit.
Excellent food, service and staff. Highly recommended
And we are Highly grateful for your 5 star review.
Wonderful! A treasure find for fabulous food and wonderful memories.
Your 5 star review is very appreciated by our chef and staff. The managements follows these reviews carefully to keep our aim in the direction of high guest satisfaction.
Very nice date night. They seated us in the middle of the dining room near the fire with sight of the kitchen/chef and the outdoors. Very quiet with only a couple of other diners on a Thursday. Started with an Amuse bouche which was delicious and bright. The meal continued to be very good from there. We enjoyed all courses and the wine. We did have to serve the wine ourselves. But the courses came timely and we enjoyed them all with no rush. Perfect for a quiet intimate meal.
Things are different with COVID in the air. But we appreciate that you were understanding with our lack of full service of wine pouring.
This was an excellent experience. Everything from the service to the food to the atmosphere. And the price was exceptional for the quality of the meal.
We are very grateful for your 5 star review.
Without a doubt the best place to have a date night in the Tri-Cities area. Chef Kelly and Erika were fantastic. Can’t wait to go again.
Come one, come all to The Vine for your romantic dinner. You will not be disappointed.
Great food and service great place for dinner for any reason
We are just a short drive from the Tri-Cities or Walla Walla. It is well worth the drive.
Most of the food was excellent. Steak was overdone and not particularly tasty.
That was gracious of you to give a 5 star review when you felt your steak was overdone. We would gladly recook anything when our temperature was not to suitable to you.
I took my husband for his birthday. We had a wonderful time. Food and service was great. We enjoyed the flavors and beautiful place!
How rewarding to get your review.
Our initial visit was two years ago. It would be difficult to improve upon that experience. Same wonderful chef, who we could tell was NOT pleased that we were seated early. Seems he could have discussed later with staff. Very good wine/beverage selections offered, along with choices for three of six courses. Our selections were all good with beautiful presentations. Servers were both normal breakfast staff who were filling in for regular dinner servers. Despite this experience not being as good as our first, we will be back, and are eager to experience the breakfast offering.
Sounds like we have room to improve. Thanks for bringing these items to our attention. We have already dealt with inappropriate inter-staff communications and hired a very professional server. Her name is Sarah. My company response to the review was immediate. My public response on this forum is very delayed!
A must go if you live in the area!!!!!!! It was spectacular. Can’t wait to stay the night here sometime and try their breakfast!
How wonderful to have your review. I hope you plan to stay soon.
The ambiance was fantastic. The server was very attentive but not hovering. The food is some of the best I have eaten. It was my wife and my 32 wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend
My only remarks are in no way a complaint just constructive advice because you guys want to do the very best. First, I know you want the Chef to be personable with the guests as well as professional. I would advise to have be more professional than friendly. We love having interaction with the Chef but not "chit chat" unless the guests initiate it.
Keep the atmosphere upscale to your overall standards. Second, be aware of the A/C vents along the wall that can be pretty chilly for the person sitting closest to the vent. Maybe have the server be observant of who is sitting by the vent and maybe be ready to cover the vent if need be during their dining time or maybe a shield to redirect the air up the wall more rather out toward the room. No complaint here, we love it there. Just want to help you be the best.

Thank you Ken. Your comments did not fall on deaf ears. Looking forward to your next visit.
Small restaurant offering seven course menu with choices for three of the courses. Fresh quality ingredients, some grown on site, expertly prepared and served in nice size portions at a relaxed pace. Nice wine list featuring Washington wineries.
Thanks for your very positive review of The Vine.
Wonderful prix dinner.
The menu shown at time of booking differed from that offered. It is truly a multi-course “tasting” menu as advertised with about 3 of the 7 courses being one or two bites. They no longer include wine pairings with each course. Food was good but not as memorable when visited several years previous.
We had a great time with our family. Our server is one that we have come to know and enjoy all interactions with. Friendly service, always making us feel welcome!
This was our 1st wedding anniversary. We were married at Cameo Heights (the restaurant The Vine is located in this B&B) last year and our wedding was spectacular. We had about 30 people for our wedding and it was the best days ever. We are in our 50’s and this was a close friend and family group only. We came back for dinner tonight and the food was awesome as usual. This was our third time to visit this wonderful B&B. We were late to book a room so we just had dinner there tonight. The food is always wonderful at this establishment. The service is excellent. If you plan on going I highly suggest you book at least 2 nights so that you can enjoy one dinner and at least one breakfast. Walla Walla is close by, so if you love wine as this is one of the best wine regions in the world. This is a must stay and eat if you are visiting this area of WA state.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was exceptional with such an amazing ambiance (we sat outside). The 6 courses were perfect each with bursting flavors. The chef had just started 6 weeks prior and he is phenomenal. Next time I’m in the área, i will definitely eat here again.
A must visit to complete your Walla Walla adventure!
The Vine never disappoints. Our food was not only a delight to taste, it was visually beautiful. I always enjoy a visit to this restaurant, looking forward to what might be in store. I will say that the mac-n-cheese was sublime and the duck confit was fall off the bone amazing. My husband's pheasant was a creation to behold. I always enjoy their vast wine list and was happy with the amount of selection within a reasonable price. Our chef clearly cared about what he was serving and our lovely food server gave us her all. I wish I could visit here more often, and was reminded that I should after last night's visit.
Either I have been to a different restaurant or those before me have no clue what good food is all about! Of all the tasting menus I have tried, this has to be the most underwhelming of them all!
The vine is located at Cameo Heights mansion, where we were staying during our visit to Walla Walla. I made the booking well in advance and prepared myself for a degustation course that would be very pleasing after a day of wine tasting.
The food is 6-7 courses (if you count the amuse bouche and the little chocolate strawberries at the end as the bye-bye course).
Every single dish was extremely disappointing and many of the dishes were not even what they were supposed to be. Duck confit was for sure not a duck confit. It was semi-burnt, not the soft confit that happens after leaving the duck in the oil at a certain low temperature for a long time.
The wait between the appetizer and entree was 45 minutes! 45 minutes to get the next dish! I would rather get up and leave after 45 minut
The panna cotta was anything but. It was a layer of caramel and chocolate with a layer of whipped cream! I was literally in awe! The jelly like appearance of a wobbly panna cotta was not AT ALL what I got.
I am saddened by my experience and I wish I had better things to say about this place. I had really high hopes on our way to Walla Walla and it seems like it was mostly wishful thinking when it came to the Vine!
Another great dining experience at the Vine. We really enjoyed the new menu that the new chef prepared. Lots a variations and everything was well thought and executed. The only thing that would have made it better was if we could have stayed at Cameo Heights for the evening. They are very booked for sometime. My halibut dinner was cooked to perfection and the berry salad was so flavorful. My husband had the pork tenderloin and it was cooked well and very moist. Thank you for another great dinner!
Anniversary dinner. Prices were quite high. The wine prices were also astonishing. The food tasted fabulous just not a lot of it, especially the main dish. Very little meat. This was not our first stay , we have always had delicious and unique meals at the Vine. Just surprised by prices and value.
Enjoyed our seven-course gourmet dinner from our romantic table overlooking the pool and vineyards. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious and artistically presented.
Disappointing experience. Very surprised that they didn’t recognize my husbands birthday except for saying happy birthday to him as they handed him the bill. Was expecting either a candle on his dessert or writing in chocolate on the plate at an establishment such as this. Food was just okay. Meat was not super tender and halibut was over cooked- hard and dry. View is nice, sever pleasant, 4 of the 7 courses just 2 bites. Other dining experiences in Walla Walla far superior food than this. Definitely not worth the drive from Walla Walla.
Amazing setting and attention to details on the presentation of each course.
Excellent tasting food. New chef and the menu had some variation compared to 2 nights ago which we also appreciated. Always consistent excellent food and service!
Outstanding would recommend to anyone who wants to have a special meal
The chefs are very good at what the do. Presentation is phenomenal.
We were searching Opentable for a restaurant near Walla Walla for my wife’s birthday when The Vines came up. Boy were we in for an amazing surprise. The service team was attentive and the amenities and views were awesome. When it came to the food, we can’t recommend enough their new chef Kelly. He took the time to connect with us and to share the preparation and nuances of each dish. My salmon was cooked to perfection and my wife told me her filet was the best ever! We were over-the-top impressed with the quality and service of our meal. Chef Kelly is on top of his game! The extra drive was worth the time and we look forward to our next visit.
Very pleasant and enjoying experience during the COVID pandemic.
Erica was an outstanding server. We sat outside overlooking the pool. The food was thoughtfully prepared and the spacing of the courses was on point. We were able to enjoy without feeling rushed and ended up spending 2+ hours dining.
This was our 2nd time dining at The Vine and again it was incredible! The food was so amazing, the service was wonderful. It was perfect even being beyond full at the end. Highly recommend!
We have been here before and the all around experience was better the first time. The staff wasn't as attentive, we were moved from one room to the other d/t a mix up on rooms but when we got back to our room after we moved all of our items, the staff had move everything back to the wrong room. We didn't feel as if the food was as good this time and the previous chef was much more attentive as far as coming out to explain the dishes and making sure we were happy. We still enjoyed our stay but are hoping the standards will go back to reflect the price point that we pay for a luxury stay.
For our 18th wedding anniversary, my husband and I treated ourselves to a night at Cameo Heights and dinner at The Vine. I was a little worried it wouldn’t live up to all the hype, especially after being informed upon arrival that they were “trying out a new chef”— but we were NOT disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious! I never dreamed I could enjoy something like asparagus soup quite so much, and the filet mignon was perfection! Between the two of us, we sampled half the menu and savored every morsel.
This was our 2nd time dining at the Vine. The first time was excellent!!! The best dining experience I have had in the Columbia basin. The 2nd wasn't as good. The waitress was very nice but lacked in fine dining skills and the tenderloin was not up to par. That said, I still love dining here and will absolutely be back! Still by far the best restaurant I have experience in the Tri-Cities.
This is the finest dining in the tri-cities area, in my opinion. I was bummed that they were not offering wine pairings for each course at our most recent dinner due to COVID, but the different courses were fun and delicious, as always. The service was personable and friendly, a level you don’t experience at restaurants who are seeing through hundreds of people a night. Truly a special spot and I’d highly recommend!
