The staff were obviously completely overwhelmed, principally because it was Mother's Day. The pub was understaffed on such a busy day. No allocated bar staff member. Front-of-House struggled to deal with reception, bar, waiting on customers and dealing with payments. Waiting a long time to place our orders. Waited ages for our drinks and starters. Enjoyed our food when it came. Printer issues, so no printed menus available to peruse, other than one copy on the wall. I think there were issues with the gas supply, so may have had an effect on food service. My suggestion is pick a mid-week evening if you are looking to dine out here.

Great food, friendly owners and staff. Fantastic setting - we ate in the beer garden! The owners let us stay the night, in their car park, in our motorhome. We will definitely call in again.
