An outstanding meal and while they have the 7-course prix fixe option you can also choose to order courses a' la carte which is a great option for those with lesser appetites. The food is well crafted and thought out, interesting and tasty.

We have been to The Vine several times for the past few years. It’s always been for special occasions and it’s always been amazingly wonderful - both food and ambience. It is expensive but it’s been worth it!
Until this last time. The chef doesn’t bring the food to the table like Chef Nathan did. The 2 shooters were horrible. They made me gag and it wax liquid, not even good. One tasted like watered down cream style corn. The steak was good but the lamb should have been much better!! My husband had the duck. It was good but very small portion. The main entree portions seemed particularly small. The food definitely was way overpriced for what we got. The chocolate dessert was great. But the cobbler hardly had any cobbler, it was mostly fruit.
It seems like things have gotten progressively since Chef Nathan left! If you can’t deliver, then reduce the price. It’s just not what it used to be. And based upon the fact that only 1-2 other tables were there when we were there, it seems like business is going downhill!
We were not impressed. We think that we will probably go elsewhere for dinner when we stay at the CHM again.

We visited The Vine for the first time, to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough good things about it. The drive out from Walla Walla was beautiful, especially once you leave the highway and climb up the hill to the beautiful setting of Cameo Heights Mansion. Jesse welcomed us with a smile at the front and we felt instantly appreciated. The wait staff and chef were equally accommodating and pleasant. When informed I was a vegetarian, they gave me several “workarounds” or the option of “turning the chef loose”. I chose the latter and was so glad I did…I’ve never tasted a risotto dish equal to it…complete with what appeared to be radicchio, zucchini, nuts, blueberries, broccoli and a few flavors that I couldn’t quite place, that combined for one of my favorite vegetarian dining experiences ever! My wife agreed that her flank steak was by far the best she’d ever had. The other 6 courses were equally fun, surprising and bursting with unique flavors and artful presentation. The price point felt a little high going in, but by the time we left, it seemed like an absolute bargain. We can’t afford to eat like that every night, but we’ll be back as often as we can. Hands down our new favorite restaurant in the area. Thank you…well done!!!
The food, service and atmosphere at the Vine are always top-notch. Chef Kelly outdid himself with the deliciousness, and this time a play on some East Indian flavors. The carmelized scallops were the highlight of the meal for us all. What an amazing treat. So many wines offered at such delightful price points, you cannot go wrong, no matter your pocketbook. Simply the very best in all categories.
Overall dining at the Vine is outstanding at a picturesque location. The dishes are prepared expertly and there is an excellent variety to choose from. Some of the best food I have ever had. Standout dishes are the Mac n cheese, steelhead and filet but the menu always changes to keep things exciting. You will not be disappointed!

Dined at this restaurant during our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion. My dinner consisted of a very small sea bass filet (about 4 inches square) and for some unexplained reason it was accompanied by three pieces of toast. Bland tasting entree and accompaniments. My wife and I were going to have wine with dinner but no wine by the glass was available. Only by the bottle. Our entire experience was very disappointing.

Had higher expectations after reading previous reviews. Service staff was hard working and enthusiastic, but very undertrained. Fine if we were ordering $20 entries, but not nearly professional enough for what we were charged. The 1st and last courses were the best, others in between were forgettable.
As the previous management response indicates, we recognize and admit that our wait staff are not quite there in all aspects of fine dining service. They are getting there however and improve daily. This is not perfect world we live in and we all have to work with the people who are "hard working and enthusiastic." In time, they will also be very professional. As far as the food is concerned: We are sorry that you found some of the food forgettable. Our confidence in Chef Siner continues.
Unfortunately our experience was not good, we were not able to pair wine with our dinner, all of hot dishes we ordered were served room temperature, someone tried to chard the top of the Mac and Cheese, I think the intent was to broil the top but I don't know what they did, it tasted burnt, we could hear all the chatter and the plates in the kitchen, no music or a nice feel to our dinning room, servers had utensils falling and not knowing proper serving etiquettes, they were young and courteous but not well trained, the chocolate mouse was good, the oysters were good.
We do "burn" the top of the Mac and cheese. Most diners rave about the Mac and Cheese. Sorry it didn't appeal to you. We continue to train and encourage the wait staff. They began with us 2 months ago with little or no training. Ever try to hire people these days? It is impossible. Anyway these two ladies have risen to the challenge and do better every day. We stand by them and hope y'all with be patient as they learn the ropes. They have great potential and will get there soon.
Was expecting way more. Very disappointed. Food did not seem fresh, almost like it was re-heated. Favors did not Complement each other and some dishes

We always enjoy our meals at The Vine
The chef is lovely, called ahead to make sure he had vege options that suited me, food was good. But, our server was a disaster. She couldn’t describe the menu, and had no idea at all about any of the long list of wines. None. When she asked the chef, she reported back that he said XX was the only white on the menu he would drink. Okay, they were for the most part serving local wines. We had no idea about any of them. No one to help for a dinner in the wine valley of Walla Walla? And no options for wine by he glass. I don’t suggest going to this expensive restaurant until this issue is resolved. Waiter also had no idea how to open the folding table to place the wine at which we had guessed on. I had to get up and do it for her. No. Just no.
Terrific food, just perfect for our early mothers' day brunch. A fun and special place to take my mom.
The food was exceptional and the service was prompt and friendly. They have an excellent wine list as well. It was a wonderful experience.
Wonderful location - well off the main road! Wonderful location - would consider also renting one of the rooms - beautiful views / amenities. 7 course dinner was amazing with delicious options - there is a choice on roughly 3-4 of them - not overwhelming quantity of food either. The wine list was extensive and we were able to pair an amazing Leonetti Sangiovese with our meal. We will be back!

Excellent 7 course meal! Definitely worth going.
Food was ok it seems like in every course the main carácter was Brie cheese. Service was so slow and strict. The view was nice. Overall experience was new but for the price disappointing. Not coming back
Food was OK: Guests were not expecting a fine dining tasting menu. Fine dining is not for everybody. Brie Cheese: Only the appetizer course had Brie cheese. The dessert course she also chose was a cheese and fruit course. Slow Service: The guests came early and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes. Seated at 5:24 and paid for a 7 course meal at 7:24. We should have seated them somewhere to wait with a glass of wine. Nice View: Thank you! Disappointing Price: $75 for a prix fixe dinner.
We thank you for your review. We understand that with the COVID restrictions as to where we can have diners, the ambiance is not the same as when you would be normally seated in our dining room. We are grateful for your 4 star review but we are not contented with it. We will continue to seek the path to earn a 5 star review in your next visit.

Very nice date night. They seated us in the middle of the dining room near the fire with sight of the kitchen/chef and the outdoors. Very quiet with only a couple of other diners on a Thursday. Started with an Amuse bouche which was delicious and bright. The meal continued to be very good from there. We enjoyed all courses and the wine. We did have to serve the wine ourselves. But the courses came timely and we enjoyed them all with no rush. Perfect for a quiet intimate meal.
Things are different with COVID in the air. But we appreciate that you were understanding with our lack of full service of wine pouring.
This was an excellent experience. Everything from the service to the food to the atmosphere. And the price was exceptional for the quality of the meal.

Great food and service great place for dinner for any reason
We are just a short drive from the Tri-Cities or Walla Walla. It is well worth the drive.
Most of the food was excellent. Steak was overdone and not particularly tasty.
That was gracious of you to give a 5 star review when you felt your steak was overdone. We would gladly recook anything when our temperature was not to suitable to you.
I took my husband for his birthday. We had a wonderful time. Food and service was great. We enjoyed the flavors and beautiful place!

Our initial visit was two years ago. It would be difficult to improve upon that experience. Same wonderful chef, who we could tell was NOT pleased that we were seated early. Seems he could have discussed later with staff. Very good wine/beverage selections offered, along with choices for three of six courses. Our selections were all good with beautiful presentations. Servers were both normal breakfast staff who were filling in for regular dinner servers. Despite this experience not being as good as our first, we will be back, and are eager to experience the breakfast offering.
Sounds like we have room to improve. Thanks for bringing these items to our attention. We have already dealt with inappropriate inter-staff communications and hired a very professional server. The ambiance was fantastic. The server was very attentive but not hovering. The food is some of the best I have eaten. It was my wife and my 32 wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend
My only remarks are in no way a complaint just constructive advice because you guys want to do the very best. First, I know you want the Chef to be personable with the guests as well as professional. I would advise to have be more professional than friendly. We love having interaction with the Chef but not "chit chat" unless the guests initiate it.
Keep the atmosphere upscale to your overall standards. Second, be aware of the A/C vents along the wall that can be pretty chilly for the person sitting closest to the vent. Maybe have the server be observant of who is sitting by the vent and maybe be ready to cover the vent if need be during their dining time or maybe a shield to redirect the air up the wall more rather out toward the room. No complaint here, we love it there. Just want to help you be the best.
