   It’s only been open for 4 weeks and you can tell as there were quite a few teething problems. I had made my reservation online on Opentable but when we turned up they had no record of us making a booking. When I showed them my confirmation email they went “oh you booked online!” So clearly they hadn’t been checking online reservations. Then they didn’t have many tables left and tried to get us to sit at a bench instead and I said that I didn’t want to so they reluctantly gave us a table for 2. This was right next to the broken sliding door which is the entrance and it was freezing cold. Although they took our order quite quickly it took ages for our 2 wood fired pizzas. I’m talking at least 40 minutes late. There was a whole lot of people waiting for takeaway and they seemed to be waiting a long time for takeaways and many of them were getting quite angry. So not enough cooking staff it would appear. But when the pizzas did arrive they were very nice as were the desserts. So they just need to lift their game a bit but I think they will eventually get there.

   a great new addition to the suburbs. Pizza to die for, some of the best ever tasted!

   Tried the Village Pantry for the first time on Sunday evening. It was very quiet so we were one of three tables in total. i suspect that was due to the AFL derby. We shared entrees and then the four of us ordered something different for mains. Entrees were fantastic and we all absolutely loved our mains. So much so that we then shares desserts. Chairs were a little hard to sit on for a long period of time . Service was excellent. Will go again.
