Was there on a Saturday night on the evening of Somerville’s holiday parade - the place was packed! Beer was decent and the food was quite good. Service was on the slow side, but not outrageously so - actually reasonable in view of the crowd they were serving. It was pretty loud and uncomfortable for conversation. Although they were packed, I think it was more due to the acoustics.

Good vibe but pretty loud. Good bar type food better than typical of a brewpub. Friendly staff.

Can only say good things about Village Brewing. The staff are very nice. Food is really good. Noise level was ok and wasn’t excessively loud especially for a Friday night. Worth the visit. You will enjoy it.

Village Brewing Company was a fun place to go for a group outing from work. Service was excellent despite it being fairly crowded for a weeknight. Food was also tasty. Only thing to be aware of is the noise level - we did not know we were going on trivia night, and so it was extremely loud with the trivia question reader on a microphone calling out questions. The music is also pretty loud as are conversation levels as everyone shouts above the ambient noise. But it is a very fun place to go so long as you expect to struggle hearing the folks at your table.

We have been several times before and we always are pleased. The peach sangrias were great. The pretzels bites are a favoriate of my grandson. The spinach salad was so-so. The spinach did not seem very fresh, but the grilled shrimp were good. My husband enjoyed the ribs and 4-beer selection.

Food was awful; no one knew if they were supposed to serve us; service was slow; quality and quantity were a complete disgrace compared to prices. Do not eat here.
