Parking in that are is very bad, need to leave lots of extra time just to find a spot somewhere in the area.
Great food and service
Outdoor dining is noisy. Salads are very good. So are the omelettes.
Love the back room. Open air but protected. Waiter was outstanding, We had so much fun with him. From arrival to leaving we had a wonderful meal and service. Highly recommend
Excellent food and lunch service. Lovely backyard patio. It was a bit windy so the heat lamps didn't warm very much, but that's outdoor dining for you. All around a lovely meal.
We had a wonderful time - all staff was very attentive - food was served quickly and piping hot.
Excellent food and even more excellent service person!
It was great to be outdoors, and found this placer with many tables full. Parking was hard. We have eaten there twice in a couple of weeks, and both times the food was fine, but not overwhelming, especially for the price. For lunch I had a bowl of soup, shared an order of side vegetable, had a seltzer was (from the bar-not the Voss), and a cappacino, and my bill was over$50. They automatically add a 20% tip, but the service was pleasant and I would have left that anyway. But soup, half a side of veggies, and two non-alcoholic drinks for $50 just seemed high, even though it was outside. Probably won't come back on my own. I would recommend only for being outdoors.
Ambiance was fantastic. Crew was great & friendly. Definitely will be back
Excellent food and a great environment on the back patio.
Great view and ambiance! Just not sure about the mandatory 20% service fee . Understand that business nowadays can be short-handed due to the pandemic but service can be compromised even more when workers don’t have the incentive.
Decent food overall. Burger was awesome. Service is very mediocre.
Heard this was a sister restaurant of the sadly closed Mayfield Cafe In Palo Alto. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. I do object to paying $4 for a side of “blueberries” which turned out to be 1.5 tablespoons of compote. Will go back but watch out for upcharges.
We went to Village Bakery for a post-graduation dinner. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was good.
As always, a great place to dine outside. The food and atmosphere were great.
The pour on my glass of rose was so slight which was annoying. And the week prior I had the asparagus salad and it had nice large croutons. This time they put like a few crouton crumbs, not nearly as good. The service also was not attentive, we waited like 5 minutes after our main course came to get silverware.
We very much enjoyed our lunch
They lost some space in the parking lot so the tables are a lot closer together now, but still wonderful to sit outside. Our waiter and service was wonder as usual. Food came out fast and was exceptional!
The pancakes are worth the trip on their own. Some of the more savory dishes occasionally are under-seasoned, but the great service and ambiance totally make up for it.
This was the perfect brunch spot .Service was outstanding ! We will be back
The food was excellent. Latte was great! The server took great care of us. We will definitely go back.
Polite servers but 2nd wine order was forgotten. When if finally arrived 20 minutes or so it was on the house
We had brunch with our friends, everything was delicious and the staff were great! Either outside or indoor dining/brunch you can get there. The staff does not make you rush to eat and go. Perfect for a weekend brunch! The only thing they should expand their menu with more ommelette and toasts.
I always enjoy coming here but sitting on a busy intersection has drawbacks at times. I do wish they used less salt on the burger and fries as it was excessive and caused me to crave water the rest of the evening. It is a reliable restaurant and I have been pleased that they have been able to offer a safe place to dine during COVID-19.
Thought the food was good, but for a place with the word "bakery" in the name, would not recommend their baked goods based on the cheddar/chive biscuit I had with my fried chicken (chicken was great). The biscuit had no lightness, texture nor great taste - really kind of a hard lump of dough that you had to break off to eat - over salted at that.
I thought the service was okay, but could have been better such as refills on our coffee or asking how things were going. Not the server's fault, but it is really awkward to have him standing over you to enter the tip and whether the service is thumbs up or down - it should be that you can enter it while he is not around.
Lastly - leave plenty of time to find parking! This was like trying to find parking in SF!
Lovely outdoor seating with lots of umbrellas and great service. We plan to go back
Consistently great food and friendly servers. It is usually quite busy so ressies are recommended. The burger and fried chicken are my go-tos!
We had an excellent meal and the service was very nice.
I had gone here for a brunch a couple of years ago and thought the food was average and the prices high. But my experience yesterday changed that! The food was awesome and portions were generous. The avocado toast was off the charts. The spicy bloody Mary delicious!. The Covid outside dinning is so lovely and the whole atmosphere was just lovely.
Very pleasant outdoor seating.
We love this spot and has been perfect during Covid-we have been able to eat on the patio (I am hoping they keep the front parking lot area forever!) and it has become our home away from home. Alejandro is the best waiter. Somehow he manages to know what we want to order every time, down to the type of cocktails -his memory is impeccable and has a friendly and professional demeanor. I highly recommend this spot.
A lovely place to brunch with family. We brought my baby niece (<1yr) and they had a seat for her. Food was hot and delicious -- Our favorites are the Lettuces Vinaigrette (add salmon!) and Home-style Potatoes with their homemade hot sauce. The bellini and bloody mary were also must haves.
Average service, overcooked but good salmon. Distracted waiter was very nice. Pretty place and well ventilated.
I’m a local and capitalized on a kid free night with a date night. Started with cocktails, moving to wine, accompanied by salad, fried chicken, ribs & chocolate cake.
Unfortunately for my husband and I, the food was good quality, but lacked excitement. Yes, it was nice to be waited on after a year of my own cooking, but it was a disappointment compared to previous times we have enjoyed a meal here. Nothing jumped out from the menu, and the lack of unique options left us with a less than enthusiastic meal.
Lovely atmosphere for an outdoor lunch and attentive service. Food is great too.
They charge $30 corkage fee and automatic 20% service fee regardless of party size. With this fee structure corkage fee turns into $36 per bottle!
Server was great and food was good, so too bad they have these fees that spoil the whole experience.
To be honest. This is a pretty place but the food is overpriced and average. I was discouraged by a $15 cost for a cocktail. Just because your in woodside doesn’t mean the charges have to be to
The food was over priced and not very interesting. The Chicken was dry. The french omelette was good, but very small and for $18 did not come with any toast or fruit, just a small omelette on a large plate with a lot of sauce.
The chocolate cake was good, along with the coffee.
Caroline our waitress was amazing. Limited menu. Food good but pricy.
Server didn’t bring hot sauce after 2 requests... turns out they don’t have hot sauce so instead they brought chili flakes, pizza was very average, iced tea was nothing special, so all in all the meal felt very overpriced.
