   Beautiful atmosphere. The food was amazing (i got the short ribs, husband had salmon, and burrata app.) beautiful view of the city and the inside is so beautiful too. Can’t wait to return. Hidden gem for sure!

   This was our 3rd visit to The View and we have not been disappointed. We had brunch and it was fantastic. We also sat on the patio which was an amazing view! We will be back!!!

   Food, staff and service as fantastic as the view! Rooftop patio is a lovely spot for cocktails before dinner. Make sure to try their special cocktail with the blue ice sphere. Everything was delicious and our server made some great recommendations for wine pairings. We will definitely be back - and we are thinking about booking the private space for a work event.

    We were there for an anniversary dinner. Our waitress was no where to be found the whole time. Every time we need her we had at ask someone else to get her. The manager was extremely rude.

    The food was great and the view was lovely (minus a cart next to me that had a rag and spray bottle sitting out). We were greeted warmly, but it took a long time for our server to arrive (we had to ask for someone), we had to ask for tableware and napkins, for our table to be wiped off, and we shared several dishes but the plates that gave us we’re about the size of two decks of cards placed lengthwise.

    Service was extremely slow and hard to come by this evening. Our server never checked in with us between dropping things off. Arugula was extremely wilted, but all of the other food was delicious and arrived hot!! We were a party of 6 and were told we could not split up the bill and gratuity was automatically added so unfortunately it made us feel like our server didn’t care/try as hard. We usually love this place, so today was a little disappointing.

    We had to move seats a few times due to a bad back and hotter than expected weather. The employees were so nice and accommodating. They made sure we were comfortable. The food was also INCREDIBLE!

    What a shame …the service here is absolutely terrible, however the ambiance is so nice, the place has so much potential. Too bad they will hire just anyone. Don’t waste your money if your interested in the views just got for a drink on the rooftop, don’t waste your time or your money eating here and having to deal with staff for any more than just ordering a drink.

    We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. We had 2 short rib dinners and they were the worst we’ve ever had anywhere. The meat was a poor cut with lots of fat and gristle in the meat. It was VERY tough and difficult to chew. We were only able to eat 30% of the portion. The potatoes were really good but all of our food was luke warm. My husband’s salmon and daughter’s chicken were good but cold. The spinach and artichoke appetizer was great. The server was Fantastic too. Unfortunately, we will never be back for dinner. We expect small portions, but expect them to be of good quality. Possibly just for drinks bc the view is spectacular.

    Lovely brunch. Beautiful location. I had the empanada breakfast, which was delicious. The filling very light; the breakfast potatoes crisp and crunchy. My husband had the French toast, which looked wonderful and was totally consumed before I was half done so must have tasted as good as it looked. Great service from Sean.

    My date and I sat for 40 minutes without being serviced. He went inside to request some help and still no one came. After an hour, we left without having ever had anyone even offer us a glass of water. Yes, there were tables seated after us who received service. Yes, there were servers all around. No, it was not crowded. Awful. Will not be returning.

    Good place to take out of town guests to sit outside on the rooftop when the weather is good. The food didn’t disappoint either. My guest loved his fish entree. Apps and desert were also enjoyable. Inside seating also.

    The View at Shires’ Garden is quickly becoming a favorite! Love the look and feel of the restaurant, love the bar area, and the food is terrific. The only issue we had is with our mixed drinks - my wife and I both had gin and tonics, and they just weren’t right….she asked to have hers replaced with a new one and it still wasn’t right. Server never asked about hers or why I didn’t drink mine. Not a huge deal but something that stood out. With that said, we’ll be back again. Our friends who joined us loved it too!

    I was looking around my local city for a nice fancy sit down restaurant. That’s when I stumbled across this one, I was amazed with the scenery and the website so I wanted to give it a try. This was a very special dinner for me as it was my wife’s and I 3rd anniversary I had the whole day filled with great events downtown and this was suppose to top the night off. There is a option on this app that is labeled special requests, so I requested to have a little card made out saying something like “Happy anniversary my lovely wife I love you and to many more”. Nothing of this was even attempted or mentioned when we arrived for our reservation I was disappointed and let down that I trusted a place that was suppose to be classy and nice didn’t even bother to acknowledge. This could of been a normal anniversary dinner that got repeated every year if it would of been special. We both got the $46 dollar meal, the proportions of the meals was small and lacked flavor, the chicken was dry along with the fish. I spent $132 at this location very unhappy and will not return.
