Disappointed to have outside table with view of walls on both sides. Selected location specifically for view.
Fantastic view, delicious Empanadas (flaky, hot, delicious!) and a cold cocktail made for a memorable night with friends.
Fantastic view! We were in Cincinnati for the night and happened upon this gem! Lucky us! It was a beautiful summer night and we were able to enjoy the beautiful views this restaurant offers. Very interesting decor inside, as well. Food was yummy and the whole experience was relaxing and lovely! Will be back!
We enjoyed our dining experience and our service was wonderful!! I have recommended this restaurant to friends.
Easy reservation and seating. Food was excellent and loved the options offered
The service, view and main courses were excellent. The picnic side dishes did not complement the menu and the dessert was average.
Great Ambiance. Good Service. Reasonable price. We shared an the wings and the short ribs, but had our own salads...Great Choice. Peruvian Peppers are cute and yummy.
The view is amazing. Lionel is a attentive and great server.
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! We went during their 1 year celebration and had a fabulous time. Our server, Ryan, was an absolute gem and the chef excellently executed our dinner! The rooftop view and ambiance make this spot so fun and chic.
This place has amazing views and even better drinks! I loved going here for dinner and will definitely be back soon!!
Just an excellent dining experience top to bottom
Extremely slow service, great view and ambience and food was poor. Everything was over sauced, salted and dressed.
The food here was good and the view of the Roebling bridge from the rooftop is great. The food took longer than expected to come out than expected, and the order wasn’t complete, it was missing a side - the side didn’t make it out until after we ordered and received a second round of drinks, which tells me it probably was never entered in the first place.
While I didn’t feel uncomfortable with the distance between dining tables, the rooftop layout was definitely closer together than other restaurants I have been to in the area.
Overall the food was good and the rooftop was what I was looking for. I would bring someone back to this restaurant for a nicer sit down experience.
Ambiance was amazing. Loved the rooftop experience. The wings, shirt ribs and briskest were delicious. The sides were just ok.
Beautiful views of the city on the outside patio.
On the surface, it looks they they are being careful with cross contamination but there were too many mistakes. Honestly, it’s not just this restaurant but every restaurant I have been too.
All restaurants need to understand what cross contamination is and be more careful.
I would go back.
The view of the city was great! The food, however, was just ordinary for the high price.
Fantastic service and food! Not an expansive menu but it was still hard to decide what to get as everything sounded great. My only complaint is that due to the sunny day, and where we sat, we were hot throughout brunch. Easily mitigated by sitting inside or a little farther away from the building, which the heat was bouncing off of.
Pre-36th Anniversary dinner. Was great evening, excellent food, great service and amazing view of Cincinnati. Highly recommended for type of dinning.
Great outdoor seating. Very nice staff. Great drink and food selection
Service was a little slow. Took a while to be greeted and get drinks.
Food was good, loved the atmosphere, and our servers were very friendly. However, My friend purchased a gift card for me to use to pay my bill with because she wasn’t able to make it out to celebrate at the last minute. Halfway though dinner someone at the restaurant called my friend to make sure I was still planning to use the gift card since it hadn’t been used yet. When the bill arrived and I tried to pay with the gift card, the manager came out to tell me I couldn’t use the gift card because it was purchased the same day that I was trying to use it. There is no where in the fine print disclosing that fact. I didn’t make a big deal about it but that is an awful rule and should have been told to my friend at the time of purchase since they clearly knew the plan of wanting to buy my dinner that same night.
Great service, great food and great view.
Worst experience. Went to dine on rooftop for wedding anniversary and we were rudely told it wasn’t open because it was wet. The hostess was actually kind and was going to get us a table until the manager came by and said it was closed. We were seated indoors and the music kept coming in and our on a loud speaker above us. I tried to track someone down to fix it and asked again if we could be seated outside. Told no and they made no effort to fix the annoying musical chair experience. After our food was served we noticed several people being served outside. Will never be back.
Terrible service. Waited for over an hour for food. Food was just okay. Artichoke salad was delicious. Husband was unimpressed by burger. Steak dinner was oddly greasy and had a lot of inedible gristle. Server did not check on our drinks, and would just disappear. Overall not a pleasant experience. Will not return. Would not recommend.
We dined alfresco on the rooftop with a nice view of southern downtown, The Banks and the river. They didn't have our reservation but blamed the error on a system glitch (shrug). We were seated quickly under ample netting which provided shade from the sun. Our waiter, Chris was fantastic. He was attentive, knew the menu and was great with suggestions. We had the smoked chicken wings for an appetizer, I ordered the skirt steak which was first rate, corn on the cob and the smoked potato salad (because it felt like summer). My wife ordered the beef rib, truffle Mac and cheese and the kale coleslaw. The Mac and cheese and slaw were perfect. The beef rib was for tender, but was very lean and too dry and needed more salt. We replaced the beef rib with scallops that were perfectly prepared. Overall a great experience for a restaurant that's on our list as one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati
Nice place, I would go back.
Service was friendly although, when it got busy, our server was not very attentive.
Had the chicken wings, very good.
Also had the short ribs (a little dry, needed to be served with its juicy sauce but was served with just the meat so, no sauce or broth, it was dry.)
Also had the home fries and Brussels slaw, both very good.
We sat outside, the view was nice but not amazing.
The dress code states ‘business casual’ but where we sat outside, most men were dressed in shorts with flip flops or sneakers. The women were dressed a little nicer, mostly in sun dresses but I would say based on what I saw, shorts or jeans are fine.
My boyfriend and I came here just for a quick drink and appetizer before our planned event. The restaurant is beautiful and the patio was lovely. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave excellent advice on what to order! The whole experience was wonderful we will definitely be going back.
I guess they were under staffed because the service was wasnt very good. Great atmosphere and food however.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. After a long day of travel, the suggested cocktails were a welcome treat. The meals were all excellent, and were matched by the pleasant attitude of our waiter.
Amazing food. Love the new menu. Short ribs was cooked to perfection. Martinis were a bit too dirty.
We were excited to visit for the first time during restaurant week! Virtually everything was perfect except the view. We had a smoked salmon ceviche appetizer which was excellent, followed by a wonderful Caesar for me and a berate cheese and tomato for my wife. The tomatoes were not very tasty, but overall it was good!
We both ordered an 8 oz filet that was a special for restaurant week, and it was indeed special. My wife likes rare and it was prepared perfectly. My medium rare was also perfect. Deserts started with a bit of a challenge bucause the cheesecake was sold out! At the end of the evening our waitress ran up with one serving! It was a creamy style that I like very much. The mango sorbet was my wife’s choice and she loved it!
Drinks were well prepared and glass wines were perfect for the steaks! Our only complaint was being seated at the rear of the outdoor dining a space next to an outdoor bar (that wasn’t open) at a high-top table. The “ smoking area” was behind the bar and - NO VIEW!
Otherwise service and food were great! We will be back but will ask for seats with a view!
We visited this establishment for Restaurant Week. We often dine at restaurants which we would not likely visit other than during Restaurant Week. The food was delicious and a great value for the $36.00 prixe fix 3 course menu however, we feel the normal menu is quite overpriced. I would recommend this establishment to others being sure to offer the side note that it is rather overpriced.
We went to one more place for Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week and decided to try a new place (to us). While we were impressed with the cocktails, the meal was just okay. There were some issues with preparation of the food, particularly the underdone meats and size of the desert; however, they were tasty. The atmosphere was nice and different. Neither of us checked out the view, but heard from other customers that it was impressive.
The food and service was excellent. We sat indoors because of the weather, but did take a drink on the rooftop and it was amazing. Highly recommend for something nice and different.
We went for restaurant week and the menu had some great options.
I do not recommend this restaurant. My husband and I are vegetarian and we both vegetarian the pappardelle with mushrooms. The pasta dish was poorly made and presented, I think they shared one mushroom between both of our orders. The pasta was sticking together, dry and the flavor was drab. Our salads were mediocre, I really don't remember it. My husband enjoyed his cheesecake, but my strawberry cake did not have the fresh strawberries as described on the menu. My cocktail was refreshing and my husband's beer met his expectation.
They had a separate special menu that night, and you could not mix any items on that menu with the standard menu. I would have loved to order one of the salads off that menu, but surprisingly none of the main dishes on that menu accommodated a vegetarian diet so so we could not order off that menu - so much for flexibility.
Unfortunately, we had a raining night. We will go back when we can sit outside and enjoy the view, too. Felt comfortable in this corona mess to eat there.
Anniversary and treat for fiends
Restaurant week menu was excellent. Food was great! Staff was very friendly. Our only concern was, a bartender and server who were not wearing masks.
