The bistro menu features a staple of great steaks, parmas, schnitzel, burgers and a barramundi fish and chips. It’s monthly produce-driven specials, a list of eight to 10 house-made desserts, as well as a nutritious $10 menu for under-12s. Every day, we offer at least six vegetarian options and vegan dishes. Our wine lists boasting over 70% regional wines from our cool climate vineyards within the Macedon Ranges and surrounds.

Really enjoy eating at the Vic. Great pub food - no try hard fancy stuff with goats cheese and fennel or who knows what, just good hearty pub food with a great ambience and wood fire on a cool night. We will be back!

Easter Saturday lunch with a friend. . quiet noisy and tables were on the large size so it seemed I was closer to the table behind me than by friend on the opposite side of the table. staff were pleasant but after taking our order they at no stage came back to ask if we wanted more drinks/ dessert/ coffee etc; seems that the preferred option was to scan the icon on the table and order via our phone. Food was good pub food. Inside was rather dark wood that was a oppressive for me

The Pork sausages I ordered were dry and either over cooked or re heated. Not a nice meal and no value for money.

Overall enjoyable as usual , although initially a bit cold inside… Parma, chips and salad were great as always, however the smaller narrow plate makes it a bit awkward to eat…( prefer a larger plate with everything including salad bowl on it…) Calamari was nice but the ‘ Asian salad’ didn’t seem fresh… Otherwise great friendly service and will always come back..

The place was packed on a cold Saturday night in woodend, but we were seated quickly, our order was slightly slow in being taken but our foo arrived much faster than I expected with the crowd there! It’s a good pub meal.

It’s a great pub with tasty substantial food. The only thing that I can fault is the information or lack of on how to order. There’s a QR code on the table but the telephone reception in Woodend is lacking so the app takes along time to load, so after 10 mins we went to the bar to order as nobody came to our table even with a bottle of table water with glasses. We were first to order food and drinks but a large table afterwards got their drinks first and so had to ask if our drinks were on the way after 15mins from ordering. I just think that a lot of bars and restaurants miss a trick when they do not get drinks out in time as I only had one when I would have had two.
