Welcome to The Victoria Hotel, Woodend! We offer a friendly and generous service at The Victoria where we value your visit as much as we value sourcing and preparing quality food and drinks. We love local! The Victoria’s menus reflect our regional bias, and deliver delicious meals whatever your particular tastes or dietary requirements. Enjoy our double sided fire places or in the warmer months our dog friendly blue-stone courtyard!

The bistro menu features a staple of great steaks, parmas, schnitzel, burgers, pizzas and a barramundi fish and chips, plus many daily specials a list of eight to 10 house-made desserts, as well as a nutritious $14 menu for under-12s. Every day, we offer at least 4 vegetarian options and vegan dishes. Our wine lists boasting over 70% regional wines from our cool climate vineyards within the Macedon Ranges and surrounds.

Let us look after you and your family. This will be the 8th year of us celebrating Christmas day lunch at the Victoria Hotel Woodend! 3 course menu will be released on 1 June 2025 Adults $165 per person Children $65 per person (aged 12 and under) Bookings and pre-payment essential. All dietary requirements can be looked after when discussed prior and a Vegan and Vegetarian menu will also be available.     My husband and I had such an enjoyable lunch today on the way home I rebooked a table for my friends and us next week. The staff were all kind and considerate food was excellent and the ambience with fire going was brilliant. A would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Nice venue, with a nice rustic feel. Good food - had the pumpkin and feta pizza: wonderful! - and good service. We’ve been meaning to go to the VIC for a long time, will definitely be going again

    The greeting lady upon arrival was delightful, helpful, and smiling. The staff waiting on tables were all very friendly and happy to help. The food service did not take long and was delightful. The noise level was moderate, but you could hear when talking to the other guests at the table. Overall a very nice experience.

    Great venue for a party of 30. Highly recommend the Mountain Shed at the Vic Hotel!! Staff really looked after us and food was served very promptly for such a big group. Thanks to Emily and crew.

    Our order was taken promptly. Our drinks arrived shortly after ordering and continued that way throughout our time there. My daughter and I had the seafood pot pie which was delicious. My husband had the pie of the day which w a s beef and red wine and served with fresh peas and smooth mashed potato, also delicious. No complaints. Service was friendly also.

    Gkuten free parma was the best I'd even had, outside of the Schnitzel was incredibly crispy and the chicken inside was incredibly succulent. Gravy was also gluten free. I struggled to believe my meal was not only gluten free but coeliac friendly. Inside the pub was also very homey with timber ceilings and exposed brick for the walls. Despite being 2hrs from home I will be back

    The service was very slow, it took 20 minutes to get a drink and 50 minutes for the food to come. The vegetable curry, whilst quite tasty, was very dry and the rice was crispy. We have been before, but yesterday was not good.
