   Great food. Love the opera performances every half hour. Only issue was my entree was not served at same time as my guest, and I waited 15 minutes longer before I received my meal. They did comp me for the error. So good overall.

   This was our third trip to the Victor Cafe and it most definitely won’t be our last. You could come for the entertainment alone, especially if you’re an opera fan, but the food is very good and the service is wonderful too.

   This experience was an amazing experience for me and my family. Everyone except the hostess in the front was extremely friendly. The entertainment was phenomenal. Greg let us in early when he saw us waiting outside. Our waitress and waiters made the experience wonderful and the food was delicious.

   Our meal was tasty. I had the eggplant special and my husband had pasta w meatballs and sausage. Our mozzarella caprese appetizer wasn’t tasty. The tomatoes weren’t ripe. The bread and oil was delicious, but we had to ask 3 times for it to be brought to the table. Sadly our waitress Iris ruined our experience. She never checked in on us after taking our initial order. We therefore only had 1 drink with dinner and we would have had more. She never checked in on us to see how we liked our meal. We had to ask other wait staff for the bread and to place an order for dessert. She came to the table again only to give us the bill. The operatic singing was a different twist on a dining experience. We enjoyed the various singing we heard.

    The singers (who also happen to be your waiters) are incredibly talented. Waters were always kept full and the food was very good. Would recommend to anybody, especially if you like opera (they take song requests).

    Outstanding! Bravo! We were celebrating my adult son's birthday after the Phillies game. Our table was wonderful. Great Italian wine for a reasonable price. The dinner menu was fabulous and so were the desserts. We were treated to 3 songs- an opera piece, a musical theater song and a frence ballad. The entertainment was woven into the evening so nicely. The decor of the restaurant is wonderful. An added bonus is that this restaurant was used in some of the Rocky movies as Adraina's.

    Great place but super busy because it's so great. Service a little slow but over all good. If you love Rocky you will feel like your in Adrain's Restaurant loved every minute. Yhe food was out of this world delicious

    This is a Philly gem. Delicious food served by waiters/waitresses who sing arias. I took my mom here for 88th birthday. It was fantastic. The food is superb. 5 stars!!!

    Food and service was very good. Got seated promptly and enjoyed the entire evening. The singing at the tables was a real nice experience. I would return and recommend to others. Valet service was quick and courteous ($15 cash). We all (4 people) enjoyed our food, drinks, service, and the ambiance.

    This was the best meal ever at Victor cafe. And I have been going there 30 years. My pasta with seafood was excellent—tomatoe sauce was thick and tasty— a solid A Veal parmigiana was aldo an A Deserts were terrific Singers were very good My friends from San Francisco LOVED the evening Goood, singing food and ambiance

    One of my favorite places. All the waiters and waitresses break out in song. Such a special treat. The atmosphere / energy of the places keep me coming back. It’s one of Philly’s hidden gems. I would love the quality of the food to improve but even if it doesn’t the food is good enough to make me want to keep on coming back. It’s a place everyone must eat at.

    The food was dreadful. The $62 veal chop I ordered had a sauce that was inferior to packaged Knorr; mashed potatoes were lumpy. Meat quality was ok, but you should have just grilled the chop -- and that way the sauteed greens would not have been drenched in that terrible brown liquid. The linguine with fruits of the sea was a soup. I have been eating this dish for seventy years, starting when I lived around the corner on 11th street as a small child, but never had it like this. "Fruits of the sea" means the shellfish comes from the sea, not that the sea is in the bowl. When I asked for the pasta al dente I should have been told that your take on this dish was unconventional to say the least. And although the white mussel dish benefited from nice fat mussels, the sauce was tasteless and watery. Clams Casino was burned. The best dish of the evening was the pesto dipping sauce. It is a shame we had to leave early to have dinner elsewhere, so we only heard two arias. Iris was nice, deserving of the tip I left her.

    Wow where to begin! Food was amazing all around. We started with a Victor’s Salad that was light and dressed in a tasty balsamic Gorgonzola. We also opted for the Arancini, little rice balls made with risotto and served with their sweet and savory sauce. These were not only delicious, but filling. For dinner we enjoyed the classic spaghetti that included meatball, sausage and braciole that was so tender I could cut it with my fork. My wife had the seared chicken breast with fontina and prosciutto. Nothing short of delectable. Ambience was beautiful with a classic decor and wonderful styling. Super clean restrooms. A lot of fascinating decor that celebrates the years. Service was amazing. Both our server and the bud staff were attentive, cordial, and welcoming. And last but least, this is a singing restaurant. The staff are all trained opera singer who every 20 minutes or so, perform a short opera piece. This is no joke. I am taking quality performances. Overall this was an incredible experience. The cuisine, service, and entertainment are second to none. We will definitely we back there in the near future.

    Our table was ready and waiting for us. Valet parking ( a necessity in my opinion ) is $15.00. The food was tasty but menu options were limited in my opinion. Service was very good. My problem with the dinner was two fold....I've been to Victors a few time before and it has never been as noisy as it was this visit (a Sunday night around 6:00). Sitting directly across from us were a group of two tables of eight who were so loud I couldn't hear my wife who was sitting next to me. My second problem is we go for the opera singing which is wonderful. This evening for the hour and a half we were having dinner only twice was there singing and then only for a short time.

    A good, fun evening for opera-phile’s and wannabes. Good portions of traditional Italian cuisine, tasty cooking and fine service (if you don’t mind things stopping while your waitperson bursts into a Mozart or Puccini aria). We didn’t mind it a bit.

    Have been coming here for well over 25 years and always enjoyed the experience, food was always good. Last night though, the food was on another level! If they have a new chef-KUDOS! Don't let them go. Everything was incredible from our salads, the appetizer, and our entrees.
