   We turned up at The Viceroy on Thursday evening after booking a table to find the place completely closed , bit of a disappointment .

   We asked to sit at one of the several free tables at the quieter side of the restaurant and told no by two very unfriendly waiters because these tables were all booked - nobody came to any of those tables while we were in the restaurant. We were given a table next to a big party. The popadoms were not fresh - bendy rather than crispy. The chicken in my dish was terrible - too tough to cut.

   Starters and main courses disappointing. There was no curry sauce...just a sludge of onions. I've been before and it was much better then Expensive for what we got.

   Food excellent once again and good value for money. Service was slow on the night due to lack of staff. The 2 servers did a sterling job but were ran off their feet during a particularly busy evening.

   This is the second time we have visited this restaurant & I took all the family this time. The Viceroy did not disappoint, a different range of Indian cuisine & a great choice of food. The meal was fantastic & the staff were very attentive. I will definitely be returning.

   Well worth a visit. Had an excellent meal in great surroundings and the staff were terrific too. Great value . Would recommend definately. Will certainly go back again and soon!!

    Visited the viceroy restaurant many times and never been disappointed . It is such a friendly , happy place to eat and food is great
