The Veranda Restaurant
We felt very fortunate to have gotten a table at the last minute. And it was a great lunch. The staff was wonderful and super helpful. The food was the best. The scenery was beautiful, as always. Thank you for a wonderful 50th anniversary lunch.
The food was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. We cannot wait to come back.
We had a wonderful lunch with out of town friends. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The food was excellent.
Great ambiance, great service, food is well presented but nothing great to
Took my mom for her birthday and she loved it. You need reservations because seating is very limited. It has the feel of an old time Southern Porch with a great view of the lake and excellent food. Highly recommend.
We have been to this restaurant many times - we always like to take out of town company there for Sunday brunch whenever we can. It is not a place where you should be in a rush - it is a relaxing atmosphere - beautiful scenery and somewhere to enjoy. HOWEVER... this past Sunday (6/10) we were seated at 12:00 Noon..... given 2 menus (there were 4 of us) - and NO ONE came back to A. give us additional menus - water OR ANYTHING for 20 minutes! Asked servers passing by for the above several times - with no action. Very embarrassing for us - and really not acceptable - especially because there were MANY empty tables so they could not have been THAT busy. Very disappointing visit.
i loved the relaxed feel and serene surroundings that I experienced. The food was great too!
The location is amazing! I felt like I was in the gardens at Disney World, only better. The food, service, and price were all exceptional. This will definitely be added on our “favorites” list.
Enjoyed the meal! Thank you for the tickets to the gardens as a wedding was happening.
This met and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend Veranda. Quiet, laid-back service, and great food that was beautifully presented.
Everything was wonderful. I think either the chef didn't understand the waitress order or the waitress took it down incorrectly for one in our party but it was handled immediately, and she received the correct order. The place is lovely, the food is great, and the ambiance is delightful.
This was my second time at Veranda and it was just what I expected. Lovely! Everything about it was terrific. Plan to visit again. Service couldn't have been better. Food was perfect. View the gardens afterwards for a real treat.
Came with one of my boys (6 yrs old). We loved the food and the gardens.
This was my first time to eat at the veranda I will definitely come back. my sister was here from Colorado visiting the atmosphere is awesome can't wait to visit again
Outstanding service, delicious food, and an absolutely beautiful setting for a delicious lunch.
The food was delicious and very well presented. Our server was outstanding, very patient and helpful.
Gorgeous setting, beautifully presented food, terrific service (Crystal). We will return...maybe for brunch
We decided to celebrate Mother's Day early to avoid the crowds. What a beautiful place to have a weekend brunch! The food choices were plentiful and the food was delicious. Afterwards, we walked the gardens. What a lovely place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.
Everything was amazing, I couldnt believe how cheap there food was. The place is very upscale and beautiful
We loved lunch overlooking peaceful ambience of the water. The only disappointment of the day was not being told that you can only go to the gardens until 2. I had chosen that place in particular to celebrate my friend's birthday so we could walk in the gardens after lunch.
Great experience for a quiet relaxing lunch. Servers are professional, polite and attentive. The grounds are immaculate and great to walk around with a glass of champagne. We got married here ten years ago and they gave us a great discount on lunch during our anniversary month. Totally recommend Grand Tradition for a simple brunch/lunch or a planned event. This venue is so well run.
Great little hidden spot in Fallbrook wonderful eating Outdoors beautiful setting good service food was great only drawback is they are only open twice a week for lunch and for weekend brunch. Reservations are a little difficult at times to get as there are very few tables perhaps 12 only.
Beautiful setting. Food presentation beyond excellent. Selection and quality of food exceptional.
We were very impressed with the gardens and the Veranda restaurant. The gardens were well manicured and very peaceful. The food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely return and bring other friends.
Elegant Brunch, fantastic Scenery, and a great value.
This restaurant is set in The Beverly Mansion in Fallbrook, CA. We sat on the veranda of the restaurant for Sunday Brunch. Indoor seating is available, but the veranda overlooks the gardens, the man-made lake and the beautiful gazebo. Amazing food and wine list. Jolene, our server, was very attentive and informative about the menu choices.
Great as always. My wife and I were married at the Grand Tradition in 2002 and love that we can take our daughters there for Sunday brunch.
This is the most serene place for a meal with quiet conversation time. Diners can easily converse with each other and hear quiet chatting. The view is great too.
Would have liked to know there was a wedding happening as we had to leave before we were ready.
Our visit to the Gand Trradition was exquisite! The setting it breathtaking, the ding area is perfect and very relaxing. We met friends and it was great to be able to chat as there wasn't any noise to deal with. Now about the Food! We all 4 loved every bit of our meal! I had the Wellington Benedict... oh my what a foodie delight!! Two people had sandwiches and one had a Belgian waffle, everybody was happy and sufficiently suffonsified. We will mostbdefinittely be returning.
This is the perfect restaurant for folks who like to have quiet conversation during the meal! So many restaurants are so noisy! Patrons can unwind from their stressful lives in a beautiful garden setting. This is now my favorite restaurant with delightful menu choices! A rare gem hidden in Fallbrook!
1. Snacks provided on the table (vegetables with dip) looked old and limb. Upon request to have them replaced we were told they all looked that way and had just been placed on the table for us.
2. The champagne we ordered was flat (hardly any bubbles left).
3. Food we ordered was so so.
4. We were offered to buy tickets for the Garden, even though it had already closed for the day.
5. Nice service, but slow (it wasn't very busy).
6. View and ambiance was great!
This restaurant was recommended to us. Overall we were disappointed -- unfortunately.
Had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful garden setting. Really good quality food, especially enjoyed the avocado roll appetizer.
Everything was perfect. Just need bigger coffee cups :)
This was probably my 8th visit to the Veranda. Absolutely love it! Any special occasion calls for a trip to the Veranda. The grounds are beautiful, the food is yummy and the service is wonderful!
My husband and I stopped for brunch. The resturant is beautiful and the food was very good. The food presentation was also beautiful with a flower on your plate. We had both breakfast and lunch. Both iteams were delicious.I will go back again.
This was my first time. A friend treated me to the Sunday Brunch.
The meal was delicious. Walking the beautiful gardens and surrounding grounds was a wonderful experience. I have visited the town of Fallbrook on several occasions and had no idea this beautiful place was here. I will definitely return.
Beautiful ambiance, calm and relaxing while eating a great breakfast! We loved the special touches such as the flowers on our plates, the special attention from our waitress and the ease of ordering when we were ready, made this experience perfect. Thank you!
Great food, open veranda restaurant overlooking beaiputiful, pristine grounds. Can’t get much better than this for a serene, delicious lunch with friends.
I had friends staying at the Welk Timeshare Resort. While the men played golf, my girlfriends and I took a trip to Fallbrook to have lunch at The Grand Tradition. It was a cool (low 60s), but sunny day. The heaters on the veranda kept us comfortably warm. The environment was relaxing and perfect for quiet conversation. The tables had linen tablecloths and napkins and the chairs were quite comfortable. The menu offered a good variety of food selections and nice wine choices as well The food was fresh, colorful, well-prepared and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and since my friends were visiting from Chicago and Kansas City, it was particularly enjoyable to have an outdoor meal in early March.
