Fantastic in every way
We went here to celebrate our return to eat-in dining. I had the veal chop and it was cooked perfect - medium and was very tasty and tender. Most enjoyable. My husband had the Delmonico and it was tender, very tasty and very enjoyable. We had a lovely dinner.
It was very good the food was great service is very good the only thing they put us in the back room which is very nice but the tables are too small we couldn’t get all the food on it Barely The table was rocky Moving side to side it took a bit of experience away
Outstanding in every way
1st time there and it was an amazing experience. Staff was friendly. Food was great. Drinks were great. They treated me like family.
Boston quality food and service on the South Shore but not Boston prices.
The food was excellent. Waitstaff was efficient and friendly.
Not a great culinary experience. Price points are high, value is medium to low. Nice job on the interior renovation, but the place reeks of industrial cleaner from the moment you walk in and throughout your dining experience. They need to back off on using whatever it is they are mopping the floor with at night. This is a restaurant not a bus station restroom. Chicken parmigiana is about as standard and straightforward a dish as there is. Why is the spaghetti swimming, and I mean swimming, in a sea of sharp tasting tomato sauce, and why is the chicken parmigiana placed on top of this mess ? I was actually warned about this dish by a staff member before I ordered it, but made the mistake of proceeding to order it anyway. Two entrees, one lemonade, one ice tea and one slice of cake cost us $95.00 (including tip) I don't think they can make it long term with these price points unless everything from start to finish is exceptional, and it was not. However, as long as the South Shore continues to offer nothing beyond sub par dining establishments the people may still come. This was the second chance we gave the new Venetian, and definitely the last.
Only been there once...food very good....let's see what happens on future visits.
My husband and I went for an early dinner. The service was great and we didn't feel rushed. The appetizer (calamari) was delicious. We both ordered seafood meals and they were excellent (shrimp scampi and salmon with risotto). The dessert was fantastic (cannolis). We highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been to the restaurant several times and typically have great service and great food
it was a great experience!
Great Italian meal, wonderful new decor, fun music, overall a great time!
Lisa had the braised short ribs, I had the scallops and a double order of the roasted fingerling potatoes. Both excellent.
We reserved two seats at the end of the bar. Nice!
Jimmy the bartender is the BEST!
Food is always great here. Just wish the main course didn’t come 4 mins after we got our appetizer
Everything was FANTASTIC!! The eggplant appetizer, pan seared scallops and braised short ribs were DELICIOUS!!! Would definitely go back.
Great food, atmosphere excellent, Waite staff very attentive.
Quite an upgrade from the old Venetian and very well done. I had the Sunday Gravy to test the menu. It was absolutely delicious. I always love the sauce there from the former owner. This was as good if not better. I will return. The former owner set the bar pretty high and I think the new owners have delivered on his promise in quality and service. A little upgrade in pricing as well but commensurate with the quality of the food. I will return.
Everything was delicious. The meatball appetizer was very tender and the sauce was very flavorful - not too tart, not too sweet or too salty. I ordered the special which was lobster, shrimp and scallops in vodka sauce over homemade spaghetti. Very tasty. I could have eaten it all but I wanted to try their famous carrot cake. It did not disappoint!! . This was my second time here and I can't wait to return to continue to explore the menu!
Great food. Nicely renovated. Been a few times with no complaints.
The bread that was served was cold and very dry....and the butter, was miniscule for a table of four...Italian bread should be crusty and dense, it was disappointing and not to my liking...
The food was very good. The wait staff seemed to be coping an attitude. Total meal felt rushed and this was with a bill of $250. Received pasta with the wrong sauce. Very loud and difficult to hear. Would like to go back some time just not sure it’s worth the value that you can get somewhere else when you spend $250.
The carbonara was fantastic!
Our first visit to the Venetian. Food was excellent. Server was excellent but restaurant seemed to be understaffed. Almost 2 hour experience.
Great place for special occasions.
My daughters and myself went to dinner on Saturday May 1, 2021. We had always gone to the old Venetian so we wanted to see how it was with the new owner.
It’s been redecorated and the menus have been revamped and updated.
All the food is great.
We were in the area and decided to try. Prices are reasonable. Wine by the bottle very good price. Old school Italian cuisine. Very crowded for Wednesday night. Garlic knots good but needs more dipping sauce. Carbonara good but not traditional style. Chocolate cake delicious but very expensive. service very good.
Great service in a corner booth!
food was cold and tasteless. waitress was intrusive and pushy wont be back
We loved all the beautiful renovations and the food was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly and service was great. Never felt rushed. My carbonara was so delicious and my husbands veal was very good and tender. Everything from antipasto board to dinner entrees and Spumoni sundae was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.
Then wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The service was excellent at a very busy time. The food was wonderful beyond my expectations.
We love coming to The Venetian! It’s like the new “Cheers,” where everyone knows your name! So lively, and cozy! We love the red leather couches and we loved seeing the private dining room all done up with velvet chairs, it’s going to be perfect for events! Also- I LOVE the new arugula salad on the menu and the handmade pasta is to die for! And the Spumoni sundae and chocolate cake! Yum! Can’t wait to be back!
Fantastic waitress (Octavia)! Great food!
Food was good, but rich (I think cream was added to the carbonara.) My husband rather enjoyed the Sunday gravy. They brought out fresh, tasty bread while waiting for the appetizer and entree, which would've been 'spot on' if bread would've been warm.
We enjoyed the chopped salad and the calamari included sliced peppers.
The server was attentive, our drinks were generous, and prices reasonable.
Perfect place perfect meal perfect service
Great service! Gray food. Such a nice atmosphere. We will be back. The sauces were great.
Amazing. Just amazing
We went for my mothers birthday dinner, it was amazing! I’ve lived in Quincy my whole life and for some reason have never come here. Can’t wait to come back! Food was great, service was phenomenal, in the vibe inside is really nice. We had short ribs, spaghetti and meatballs, strip steak, chicken scampi, two appetizers, a few drinks and a bottle of red wine and our tab was under $200! Great value for great food.
Excellent choices on the menu - Food was fantastic
Great service- Hostess, Waitress and busboy were very attentive and pleasant
Very clean and felt safe...
Very good all the way around.
