Service was slow. Drinks took forever to arrive. Manager/ supervisor was very rude.
Excellent food, service and ambience. It was our first time here and we were blown away. Will definitely return!
your food needs major improvement. Do not serve any drinks in plastic glasses. Not even water!
My husband and I have been to the Vault on the day it had opened first, and we went back many times for excellent service, delicious food and great ambiance.
I'm not sure what happened last Wednesday but the service was ok, the food was a pass but not that great. It was the first day of their week so maybe it wasn't their best day but the crepes were burnt and cold, the kombucha served was expired and the burgers took an unusually long time to arrive. The cocktail I had tasted like there is no alcohol in it so it felt like I was paying $14 for juice with a lot of ice.
As I mentioned, we've been many times and will absolutely go back, but last Wednesday was a bit disappointing..
Easter brunch was not good. Dinners are better.
Amazing brunch!
Easter brunch was AMAZING! Great food and service!
Love this place, but it was better when the tables were not under the roof.
We were on time for our reservation, but had to wait for 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. The ambiance is nice and festive with pretty lights.
The main dish food of Risotto was so salty that we couldn't taste the actual food. If you have too much salt, it covers up the other flavors. Please let the Chefs know of way too much salt. The asparagus with the sauce was delicious and our favorite. The steak was done perfectly of medium rare and with good buttery flavors.
I felt for the staff running up and down the stairs from the kitchen and concerned if the food was cold, but it was a fine temperature due to the covers on the plates. The staff were very friendly, warm, and energetic! Thank you so much for a wonderful date night with my Boyfriend!
We had so much fun at the Vault and were so impressed with the food and service. Also the martinis were incredible! Loved every second of it
Love this place. Feel very covid comfortable here.
The waitor was extremely friendly and polite, good service I have to admit.
Cocktails were completely watered down and I asked for a neat mezcal instead, and it tasted nothing like mezcal and just overall cheap tasting. The duck was really good although I would expect more even cuts for the price. The aged beef tasted alright. We
Food was good. Service was excellent. Music was way too loud.
2% for propane... ridiculous. Build it into the food price.
The Propane used to keep the place warm has nothing to do with the amount of food or drinks I get. Time based, not service based.
Thanks.
I went to celebrate my birthday with my friends! We had a great time! Very nice place for special occasions! Loved the food and cocktails. I will definitely go back!
Course Menu made it feel like a special occasion vibe
Menu was only brunch (sunday!) kids no friendly. No lots of choices. No expresso! We paid 100$ for the brunch and nearly 50$ for taxes ... (covid tax sunday tax SF tax gas tax etc ...) not a good experience.
Fun, casual place with excellent food. Eclectic atmosphere, great service and delicious beignets (as starters). Food proportion was "just right" - we felt pampered, "safe" (w/ Covid protocols) and spoiled. I highly recommend this place for all parties large and small - and for any occasion!
First dining experience together in 14 months and it couldn’t have been better. We felt very safely spaced from other patrons, the heat lamps were just perfect. Park i g couldn’t have been easier!! And of course, as you expect from the Hi Neighbor Group: the food and service were outstanding!
Propane tax? Since when? Lol. Other than that everything went really well. Food was awesome! Drinks awesome! Will visit again.
Overall the experience is just blahh. Food is sooo. The setting is not inviting.
My fav brunch spot at the moment
Best burger in Sf
Absolutely great outdoor dining experience. Looking forward to my next visit.
I went to The Vault Garden for brunch on a Sunday at noon.
The weather was grey and cold, their setup is quite good looking, there is a lot of space between tables and the temperature is extremely comfortable. I think this was the best part of my experience.
The big missing part for us was the fact that they only serve drip coffee, no espresso machine, too bad. The selection of juice was very limited: orange or pineapple.
The food was good, nothing extraordinary and the portions were not big. The price is definitely high for what you get and how much you get. I got the EGGS BENEDICT at $21.
The service was good, nothing special. The location is "prime" but that not "prime" considering we are still in COVID times.
I had a good time but I don't think I would go back.
Always a pleasure!
No problem with a reservation. Great setting, with heaters all around for a cold night, and food was excellent. I will return.
Photos don't do it justice. Great space with heaters and courtesy blankets. Our small purse dog was also welcomed outside. Food was ready good but cocktails were ehh and not worth the $15 price tag. Stick to the wine. I ordered the barrel of monkeys which tasted like the bartender poured campari in a glass then got busy and forgot the rest, like the bananas. Disappointing. Say yes to the fried asparagus, parker house rolls and beignet dessert. Shout out to Steven, our server, who did a great job enforcing safety protocols while still ensuring an enjoyable dining experience -not an easy feat.
The food and drinks do not disappoint! The caviar is a must and appreciate the creative shiso martini.. Service was impeccable and ambiance is great, very distanced as well.
Foods are so delicious, service is excellent!
March covid outdoor eating: The cocktails were served in plastic cups and tasted watered down. Definitely subpar for $15. It was explained that the food order needs to be put in together because the kitchen is far away from the seating. Wireless handheld technology from the year 2015 could easily solve this problem for the servers. This also means that you can't just order some appetizers and see the quality of food first before committing to a full meal.
2 separate tables had a couple of gallons of water fall on them from above when the wind picked up. The water was pooled on the plastic awnings above the seating. It hadn't rained in 2 days, so the restaurant should have fixed this issue earlier. Diners at those table got soaked. Hopefully they had their meals comp'd?
Exceptional food service.
Food sucked
Went for my friend’s birthday. Ambiance and service were great. Food was subpar.
Although our dining experience didn't measure up this time, the managers and server really came to the plate (pun intended). We look forward to going back and enjoying the burger and fries!
Went there for husband's birthday. Hostess very nice, gave him a little note from The Vault. Waiter was not pleasant, just rushed through meal. Sole was way over salted. We could not eat it. Sad because the rest of the day was really nice.
First outside meal since pandemic
Was a good afternoon for lunch. Nothing special. Will no try again.
Wonderful experience! The staff even wrote a birthday card for me, as we were celebrating a birthday!
Everything was fantastic except the drinks. Ran out of Ketel One, subbed Grey Goose for a martini and it was ridiculously tiny (possibly due to the distance they have to carry the drinks). Switched to wine, also felt the pour was very small. Other cocktails tasted just OK. Would definitely go back for the food and service.
