   Excellent meal. We tried four different entrées and everything was outstanding. Restaurant is beautiful. Staff was superb. Cocktails are fun!

   Our experience did not start out well as the reservation we requested in the main dining room was not honored and we wound up sitting at a high top in the bar beside the server station. No explanation why and no apology for not honoring our request. Our server, Chris, did an excellent job and was very attentive. Food was good but quiche serving was small relative to the price. Breakfast sandwich was excellent. Overall, the service and food helped turn around our initial impressions.

   Mothers Day brunch was Devine! My mom and I both had the lobster ravioli and we were licking the bowl it was so good! A jazz band played in the lobby, service was top notch, all in all it was a perfect get together to celebrate my mom!

   We were very impressed with our food and the service we received. It was our Anniversary dinner and they went out of their way to make us feel special.

   The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The environment is very modern and fun. The only complaint, and it’s a small one at that, is that the music is terrible. It bounces back and forth between genres, is a little too loud, and rather distracting during a meal. Other than that it’s an awesome place to eat.

    The Vandiver was by far the best restaurant I’ve been to. The ambience, food, and service were all so amazing and everyone was so kind. I ordered the steak frites which was a 6oz steak and fries and let me tell you, this was the best tasting steak I’ve had. The flavors were great and it was cooked to perfection (medium). My boyfriend got the Vandiver burger and he said it was delicious as well. I would definitely recommend stopping at this restaurant if you are just passing through Clayton or if you are staying at the Bridge Creek Inn. We were celebrating our 4 year anniversary and were given menus with “happy anniversary” printed on the top which was super cute and special. The whole night was special and the food was amazing. We will definitely be stopping back in when we are in the area!
