   We were very impressed with our food and the service we received. It was our Anniversary dinner and they went out of their way to make us feel special.

   The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The environment is very modern and fun. The only complaint, and it’s a small one at that, is that the music is terrible. It bounces back and forth between genres, is a little too loud, and rather distracting during a meal. Other than that it’s an awesome place to eat.

   The Vandiver was by far the best restaurant I’ve been to. The ambience, food, and service were all so amazing and everyone was so kind. I ordered the steak frites which was a 6oz steak and fries and let me tell you, this was the best tasting steak I’ve had. The flavors were great and it was cooked to perfection (medium). My boyfriend got the Vandiver burger and he said it was delicious as well. I would definitely recommend stopping at this restaurant if you are just passing through Clayton or if you are staying at the Bridge Creek Inn. We were celebrating our 4 year anniversary and were given menus with “happy anniversary” printed on the top which was super cute and special. The whole night was special and the food was amazing. We will definitely be stopping back in when we are in the area!

   Slap yo’mama good! Cocktails, French onion soup, entrees….all spot on. Love the menu, the atmosphere & service was outstanding. We can’t wait to come back.

   The French onion soup was delicious! My wife had the burger and said it was fantastic, and after I tried a bite I totally agree. Melt in your mouth texture for sure! My ribeye was delicious and tender. Nice quiet atmosphere made for a great date night. We will be back.

    Our anniversary dinner was great! The blackened ribeye was excellent! Would definitely return again.
