The Valiant Sailor is sat on top of the famous White Cliffs in Capel le Ferne, between Folkestone and Dover next to The Battle of Britain Memorial. It is a traditional family and dog friendly pub with a roaring open fire in the winter. The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner, serving delicious meals and snacks. We have a range beers plus a selection of fine wines, spirits and soft drinks. There is a large beer garden and a spacious car park. The pub is on the North Downs Way and is part of the Woodland Walk and we welcome ramblers and walkers. We also offer free overnight parking for motor homes on the condition that you eat with us; calling ahead to check for availability is advisable during peak season.

We had a sunday roast. But the food was realy not cooked well. Beef and chicken was very dry and tuff meat. We come from the Netherlands and really had better food in the past. I ask a bill and never got one in the email. Really sad.

Good quality food, freshly cooked and served in a timely manner. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our full English breakfast.

Ate here a few times now since the new people have taken over , it's been a fast service on visits, food is cooked to how I like it , plenty on the menu to choose from, and it's very clean and tidy

Very poor food quality. Veg was cold, raw, under cooked and as for the homemade gravy it was a cheap tasteless granule not a good plate of food. Not going back as what you got was not worth the money. Service was a stressed out lady with no manners considering there was only two other tables there a max of 6 adults !
