Have visited the firehouse 3 times now and think it gets better every time. Amazing food, love the venue looks so rustic and service was great very accommodating. My only put down would b choice for children would nice to have a separate area with maybe chips etc as they don’t tend to eat a lot of the food on show.

Absolutely loved it, excellent food and plenty of choice. Great service with prices very good. Will definitely recommend it and come back in the future.

My new go-to place whenever I am in the Burford area. I took my husband and some friends here on Sunday having been last summer myself and they loved it! A great spread of delicious smoked & cooked meats with some beautiful salads and accompaniments to go with them. The staff are very friendly and at less than £20 per plate for an unlimited buffet it's excellent value! Will definitely be back again soon!

Been passing this place for months so we thought we would book and try it. Booking easy online, staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely place great atmosphere. We were seated but had a little wait to be told how it worked then a little more wait for our plates so we could go to the buffet. Salads all looked and tasted lush but to be honest we were very disappointed to say the least on the Quality of BBQ meats on offer. Online offered BBQ ribs etc and said menu varies but wasn’t A great selection for the money. disappointed with inedible belly pork (fatty chewy unable to cut with knife) pork steaks dry and over cooked , chicken thighs nice but no flavour. Over all very unsatisfied and winter be returning or recommending.

We were the only two people there but the service was very good. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and pleasant. The food was lovely with a good choice of dishes. Would like to go again in warmer weather when there are few more people around to create more of an atmosphere.

We have been to Upton Firehouse on a number of occasions and have always highly recommended it. Following our booking for 6 at 3pm today, we also pre booked a vegetarian dish for one of our guests. However, we had a very bad experience and won’t be returning. On arrival they had run out of chicken, the meat was very dry and cold as it had been sat there for quite sometime. Our vegetarian guest was told to help herself to salad and potatoes and there was no vegetarian dish plated for her as before. We were then charged £19.50 for potatoes and salad. I spoke to a girl behind the bar who explained that’s just the way it is. Very unhelpful and didn’t want to know. I asked to see the manager and was told they were both busy. After 1 hour, one of the managers came to our table. He explained they had a busy day and that’s why they had run out of chicken. Even though they still had guests coming in and serving food until 4pm. Couldn’t see a problem paying £19.50 for potatoes and salad as potato dauphinois is expensive. Good quality potatoes, cheese and cream is costly. Really? He begrudgingly apologised and left. Since the firehouse has changed ownership it’s standards and customer service have declined. Prices have gone up and I would strongly not recommend this place. That’s just the way it is!!!!

The Upton Firehouse is a great venue to get together with a group of friends. It has a great atmosphere with awesome meat dishes and some salad and veg dishes. Mostly for the meat eater. Highly recommended!
