The Union Kitchen - Washington
At the union Kitchen outdoor dining is a year-round event with ceiling fans and air coolers for hotter days and heat lamps for cooler nights. Just perfect for enjoying an wonderful meal outdoor.
The Union Kitchen offers ice cold draft beers and a huge selection of American and International wines. Imagine a place where while enjoying some Mimosas you can order eggs Benedict and watch your favorite sporting events; and all in company of friends and family.
First time visitors to The Union Kitchen. Very pleased with the overall experience. Good location and atmosphere. Lots of windows and ability to see all around. Free valet parking (do this as there is not much parking in the area). Great menu offerings, all at reasonable prices. Had the peppercorn crusted Ahi tuna and meatloaf, along with caesar and wedge salads. All were good, including the complimentary bread. Very reasonable prices. Aaron (server) was super. Will definitely return and bring family/friends next time. Want to try out other menu options.
Great brunch spot with reasonable prices and really good food and mimosas. If you use OpenTable to make reservations don’t have to wait in line for a table and they have complimentary valet which is a plus.
Birthday with my mom visiting from New Orleans!
Very good brunch selection. Very flavorful. Great value for the price. Very reasonable.
We had a wonderful time. The waitress was outstanding. She was very accomodating and fun. The food was also very good.
It was a great place and amazing food! I will be back!
This was a great time. William and Jordan were absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to revisit.
Our waitress, Trish, was awesome and made the experience so lovely.
Excellent service and food.
We had a wonderful experience and our server was really friendly and helpful.
Both the food and service are consistently excellent.
When the wait was too long at the popular Mexican restaurant down the street, we walked here because they had a table available on short notice. Should have known there was a reason they had availability at 7pm on a Friday with no notice. Second clue should’ve been that it’s in a strip mall. Menu tries to be all things to all people seemingly. Service was good, our waiter was nice and attentive. Food was terrible and overpriced though.
Everyone’s food was hot except for my friend and I who ordered regular Eggs Benedict. Both of our orders were lukewarm at best.
The food and service at Union Kitchen - Washington are consistently excellent.
Excellent food and service!
Everything was GREAT! I’ll be back for sure!!
Appeared to be under staffed but everyone was very helpful whenever they were able to he
Went for a New Years Eve dinner with a group of friends and Union Kitchen did NOT disappoint! Nice quiet atmosphere, seated right when we walked in, champagne toast at 9 p.m, and a complementary dessert! Our waiter was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly. 10/10.
Food was awesome and our waitress, Christine was fantastic!
The food was exquisite...scallops were perfectly cooked, which is pretty unusual in my experience. The service was outstanding...friendly but unobtrusive. Dessert was comped because it was our anniversary even though we never mentioned it to our server...it just casually came up in conversation when we arrived and gave our reservation info. We have come here often for brunch because our daughter lives in the apartments above the restaurant. Brunch has always been lovely, so we decided we wanted to try dinner and we were very pleased with the entire experience.
Always great food and service! Neighborhood GEM!
Great customer service and great food!
My friend and I stopped by to enjoy the meal. Neither one of us was very satisfied with our meal. I had the four cheese ravioli, which did not taste very good. The bread pudding, which I ordered to go, was ok. My favorite part of this Union Kitchen location is the drinks which are pretty strong. Overall, I would recommend it for happy hour or brunch but not as restaurant to get dinner (although there was a lot of seating available, which was a plus).
We normally go to Union Kitchen for brunch and have had great experiences, so when my girlfriends and I were planning our annual Christmas gift exchange, I suggested TUK! Unfortunately, it was just not up to par. The food was excellent, but the service was sorely lacking. The appetizer came out before our drinks did, and we had to wait a while before we were even greeted, and had to ask for a couple things more than once.
Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!! Definitely will go back!!
Great service, helpful with allergies, clean, fast service
It was very loud for brunch but it was good food and the mimosa deal is excellent.
They had great service, Anthony took care of us and went above and beyond to make out experience pleasant.
Salmon was fantastic. We had a great meal.
Having dinned at 3 Union locations, the same level of consistency prevails at the Washington location. Great spot for a business lunch's or just casual dinning with friends. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasing, there is adequate parking w/valet service offered. There are items on the menu to please just about everyone and even though I didn't order one of their sandwiches, the ones I saw come out looked very good. Nice "Texas" portions and the wine offerings are very good and at a "reasonable" price, not the typical gouge you get at other restaurants.
A friend and I had reservations for Sunday brunch. We started with the beignets, which are a MUST! She had the breakfast croissant sandwich and I had the veggie omelette. Both were adequate portions and came out fresh. I have no complaints. We will be back.
Visited on a Sunday around 1:00 p.m. Restaurant was very busy and very loud. The food was good, but not anything outstanding. Portions are huge, so maybe plan to share. So many other great brunch places in Houston, this would not be on my rotation list.
Rocco our waiter was fantastic. Food and atmosphere was great!! Will definitely be back and will request Rocco as our waiter.
Everything we sampled was beyond expectation. I am looking forward to returning.
The worst meal I have paid money for in a decade. The “market catch” was so over cooked that you could barely cut it. The risotto and vegetables came from a plastic bag. I would say avoid this place but it can’t be open long serving food like this.
Delightful lunch, and service provided by Jordan was EXCEPTIONAL!!
Overall very good. Our waiter was very busy with a large table. Service was off, but was a great brunch location.
As usual food was great and so were the drinks!! 👍
Great food and service. Wonderful evening
