Located in the heart of historic Genesee Depot just down the road from the famous Ten Chimneys you will find the Union House. Known for its unique menu featuring wild game fused with classic fine dining, our mission is to bring people together while creating a memorable dining experience surrounded by historic photos of the town along with Union House frequenters, Lynn Fontanne and Alfred Lunt. The menu is driven by ingredients and is constantly developing throughout the year led by award-winning Executive Chef and General Manager, Dan Harrell and Executive Sous Chef, Christian Garcia-Cortez. We feature an extensive wine, scotch and bourbon list highlighting selections from around the United States and world along with barrel-aged old fashioneds and Manhattans that include our very own hand-crafted bitters. We look forward to having you join us!

Short Ribs, Scallops, mushroom tart, lemon creme brûlée were amazing!! Excellent wine list and the staff is beyond wonderful!!

Whenever we visit our family in southeast Wisconsin, we always take them to The Union House for dinner. The food and the service are consistently excellent. It’s one of the highlights of our trip.

The servers were attentive (but not overly) and efficient. We ordered the current specials and were very pleased with our choice.

Delicious food, as always. Service was wonderful; a bit rushed especially since we said “We’re not in a rush” a couple of times. The young man seemed like he was a bit nervous (possibly new~ish) and he was NOT rude. We’ve been to The Union House multiple times and will definitely be back!!! ♥️

For this visit, the service was not great. Our server forgot one drink order, and our second took very long to arrive. The food was good, especially the Carpaccio appetizer which was excellent. I ordered one of the evening's specials, an Osso Bucco of venison. While well cooked it was under seasoned and therefore very bland in flavor. There was a reduction over it, but it was also a bit bland and sparse. This was served over a very dry risotto, which was more of a rice pilaf than a traditional risotto which should be creamy. My wife ordered a filet mignon which was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. Not sure if we'll ever return.

As usual, our go-to restaurant delivered a great dining experience. Our out-of-town guests were very impressed with this fine establishment. Thank you to Gordo for the exceptional service and attention.

Outstanding food and great menu. The second floor dining area is very classic. The staff is very friendly and received a very good recommendation from the sommelier for wine.

We had a wonderful experience with some very creative and tasteful specialty dishes. The ostrich and the special preparation of the swordfish were terrific. And, of course, we love visiting with the friendly and lovely team at the restaurant. Great evening.
