Liam and the team behind The Boat are proud to bring to you a modern neighbourhood pub in the beautiful village of Barton-Under-Needwood.

Soak up sun in the garden with a cocktail, or in the winter find a seat inside next to the log burner. Our focus is on modern pub classics with a twist.

Offering breakfast at weekends and a classic Sunday Lunch. We also have space for hire, for private parties, birthdays, meetings or even to kick back for a sporting event.

Inspired by Betty and Peggy our 4 legged residents at our sister restaurant The Boat, where we’ve cultivated our land for crops and created a sustainable eco-system with a focus on reducing waste.

    We are bringing the best of The Two Pigs to you. Indulge on the evening of Wednesday 25th of June with our 4 four course tasting menu offering. Priced at £55 per person. This menu has been created by our head chef Beth Hipwell with locally scoured produce and turning them into exquisite dishes with that local village pub twist. Join us for this experience at The Two Pigs Barton.

    Amazing experience. We have been meaning to try this place out for a long time. Booked in for a meal on Saturday after attending BBC Good Food show at the NEC. Great food and amazing service. Would recommend.

    We've been wanting try the Two Pigs for sometime and we weren't disappointed. The Sunday roast was great. They could do with adding a "Sunday Roast veggie version" to the menu but they were really helpful in creating a lovely asparagus and poached egg tart for me when I asked for a veggie option. This is a great addition to Barton.

    Good starters but very poor portions for main courses ~ staff don’t have any knowledge on the menu which was disappointing

    An amazing Sunday roast at The 2 Pigs, where the beef melts in your mouth, and the roasts are cooked to perfection. The Service was excellent too. To make it perfect the food is gluten-free. Perfect for my Ceoliac Daughter

    The Sunday lunch menu was very appealing and we chose the lamb and the pork options. There were carrots, green beans and greens along with roast potatoes and Yorkies. I found the portions to be very big and good value.

    The Two Pigs is really hitting its stride now. Great service from friendly staff. Excellent quality food at a sensible price. We’ll definitely be back (again and again)!
