The Turtle Club - Naples Ratings and Reviews
Service attentive/not intrusive.
Appetizer sashimi with jalapeño excellent- other three at table Loved their entree.
Swordfish special - moist/tender/ lacking in flavor. Had sea bass last visit and loved it and wish I had opted for it instead of special.
As always outside seating right next to beach at sunset time on gorgeous even - priceless!
Turtle Club is nice at lunch when you can view the ocean and enjoy a salad and ice tea. In the evening it is an older crowd, touristy, and the food is just fair. It's also bland. The restaurants in downtown Naples are superior in all respects except for view.
Great meal, and Michael was superb as our wait person. The bartender, with the neatly trimmed beard, created the most delicious mocha martini! Delicious 😋. We, a party of 4, all had various steaks. Each grilled to perfection! I added Oysters and they too were outstanding.
As we were celebrating two couples wedding anniversaries, we were treated to a lucious piece of key lime pie! Turtle Club is our new go to restaurant for our escapes to Naples! Thank you!
Superb sunset view and terrific service as always. Food is excellent- everything from apps to salads to dinners and dessert. Must think ahead for this one tho/ they book way early for sunset dining. Worth the rush out the door and need for late night snack when eating @5:40pm. View is superb
Wish we could have gotten there when the sun set. Very busy day place for a very good reason. Loved the calamari. The lamb was to die for!!!! I think I can still taste it! We all enjoyed our orders...... but even my husband (non lamb lover) said he would order it next time. Thanks for a beautiful evening
The Turtle Club is my favorite Naples restaurant. The food, primarily fish and seafood, though plenty of steaks are available, is consistently delicious. Sitting on the sand over the beach is delightful. The staff are friendly and effective. The prices, while not cheap, are reasonable for the quality of the food. It can be tough to get a table at sunset, but before and after are equally desirable. They do get cancellations, so don’t be afraid to check.
We were new to the area and arrived a few minutes late for our reservation because we got lost. We had made a reservation for our anniversary and requested a front row beach table. because we were late they said they didn't think we were coming and gave away our table, even though we had spoken with them on the phone and confirmed our reservation. This was disappointing since we had made a reservation days ahead. other than that the food was good and the service was great, it was fun to eat on the beach.
Have been trying to get a reservation for quite some time. The service was not as expected for this price point restaurant. Seem to have plenty of servers, but service was slow at best. Ordered an appetizer, took some time to arrive, no sooner did the appetizer arrive so did dinner. No special attention, no bread to start. Disappointed
What is there to say? Forget the miraculous sunsets on the white sandy beach. The service is always great, and the food is awesome. Highly recommend the grouper. But honestly never had a bad meal here. Get the oyster appetizer.
Ah-may-zing! Need I say more?
Outside seating on the beach! Beautiful location. Tables spaced nicely for private conversations. Our server Chris was superb. Suggested changes to the preparation of foods to accommodate special dietary needs. Everything ordered was delicious.
There was a loud vulgar arguing table adjacent to us and several other patrons - lasted through drinks, appetizers, and main course. We couldn't even hear each other talking at our own table. - it really threw a foul shadow on our special evening out. The wait staff or management made no attempt to diffuse the situation. We visited the Turtle Club at least twice a year when we're in town; but there are many elegant restaurants in the Naples/Bonita area. Moving forward, we will choose a different one when we desire that atmosphere.
