About The Turtle Club - Naples
The Turtle Club Restaurant is Naples’ most charming and intimate beachfront restaurant, where guests experience gracious hospitality and great coastal cuisine in an upscale casual atmosphere. The setting is spectacular—the restaurant is located on the grounds of the Vanderbilt Beach Resort directly on the beach. Guests dine adjacent to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico (often with toes in the sand!) and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea, including breathtaking sunsets. The cuisine is equally fantastic—serving only the freshest seafood and steaks with a core menu that includes something for everyone. Weekly specials combine the best of traditional and contemporary culinary styles with touches of Mediterranean, Caribbean, Asian and Southern American cuisine. The Turtle Club has been voted one of the best waterfront dining restaurants in Naples for many years.

The Turtle Club - Naples Ratings and Reviews
Turtle Club is always a good choice. Inexpensive Valet Parking. Incredible Sunset view. We sat outside. Toes in the sand. Temperature was perfect with outdoor heaters. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Consistently great. You can hear yourself talk which is nice too. Some other places are so noisy! We’ll definitely be back.
The Turtle Club is one of our favorite places. The sunset was beautiful and we were treated to the "green flash". I was somewhat disappointed that our party of seven did not get a table on the beach after requesting months in advance and confirming a month prior and also the day of the reservation. We were seated outside but next to building. No sand on my feet!!! Our service was OK but it seems like the waiters are rushed and have a tendency to forget...one person in your party requested a beer before food served and although reminded when food was served he never got his second beer. Not a big deal but Turtle Club is very expensive so I expect fantastic service.
Would have been 5 stars across the board but bad experience with manager and hostess upon arrival. In spite of confirming and requesting twice the week of our reservation to obtain a beachfront table we were pushed to the back at the last moment by a couple who arrived right after us who supposedly requested the table prior to us. Our waitress was great but the manager and hostess were dismissive and arrogant.
You must book your reservations ahead of time as this place really fills up at the popular times.
i had told them it was our anniversary and they worked hard to make it special.
we sat outside, closest to the building in the great wicker chairs, vs the plastic chairs that are closer to the waterfront.
the food was great. The wine, Chardonnay, The Calling was delicious.
Our waiter was wonderful.
A very enjoyable evening .
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Naples. I always bring out of town guests to experience the lovely ambience and location.
For the first time, I was disappointed in the service. After making reservations thirty days out for a table on the beach, we were shown to an outside table not on the beach. Upon requesting a beach side table, we were made to feel out of line and unreasonable by the manager. Within 2 minutes, we were given a beachside table and would clearly have avoided the uncomfortable feelings and conversation if we had been told it would be available momentarily. This is a service oriented place that did not deliver last evening.
We used to really enjoy this restaurant over the years, but food quality has slipped. Mahi Mahi tasted fishy, other dishes over seasoned and staff showed no interest in correcting the poor quality of the fish. Great view of the gulf, but our table was next to the walkway to the beach, which was full of loud people gathering to watch the sunset. More of a sports bar atmosphere with fine dining prices.
Four of us had a lovely table on the sand for an early evening dinner to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our server Leslie was very accommodating to our requests throughout the meal and even brought out a complementary dessert for the birthday boy. The seafood was impeccably fresh, flavorably seasoned and well presented. The carrot cake and chocolate cake were good dessert choices. Our guests enjoyed the ambiance and water view. One minor quibble is that there was no bread/rolls available with dinner. Leslie was kind enough to bring us some crackers and herbed butter when we inquired about it, but warm rolls and butter with dinner would be welcome. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the Turtle Club and would return.
The restaurant was highly recommended to us by foodies and we were disappointed. We were still finishing our appetizers when the entrees were served. One diner's fish was tasty but overlooked. The accompanying vegetables were like warm. We had to ask for bread. Our waitress was lovely . The view of the gulf is beautiful but you must dine at sunset to see it of course. Dessert was a key lime pie which was soggy. Overall overrated.
I have heard a lot of great things about The Turtle Club so I was prepared to be wowed. Let me just say, the overall experience was nice. Lovely night, we ate out on the beach, we had a great waiter. But... this is Naples and there's lots of competition for great food and ambiance. The beachside table was nice, the food was pretty good, but I must say, other than their seven-layer chocolate cake, I wasn't overly impressed. The beachside seating and food is better at La Playa, just up the road, and the ambiance is better there too. If you don't need to be on the beach, there are lots of other places with more impressive cuisine and a far more interesting atmosphere at these prices. That said, I would go back if invited by someone but it's not at the top of my list as a place I would choose to go.
I have been here many times. The food was the best it has ever been. I had the lump crab meat cocktail which was delicious and then the petit filet with the Oysters Turtlefeller. The filet was cooked perfectly and the oysters are one of their specialties. You can't go wrong. It was a beautiful evening with a perfect sunset. I absolutely love it there.
My only complaint is that they used to serve delicious bread before the meal and now no longer offer any bread at all. Some people may not want bread but I think that if you do, it should be made available.
