We had a great dinner at the Tunnel with friends. The atmosphere was very intimate and we felt like we were having a chef prepared dinner at a private home. The cuisine was Northern French and every course was fantastic. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience! Top notch in every way. I am a long-time local and this was my first experience at The Tunnel. We are lucky to have many good options in Telluride, but the Tunnel is a unique dinning experience and a must for foodies. Seasonal menus are a bonus, locals and frequent visitors will be pleasantly surprised again and again. Chef Mark Krassic and his team love food and making folks happy, and it shows.

The experience was excellent! We sat with 3 other groups and had great conversations as 6 phenomenal courses were served with a description of each course by the Chef. The wine pairings were also excellent and highly recommended. We’ve been coming to Telluride for years and this new and unique experience was well worth it.

The Tunnel was a fabulous culinary experience in Telluride. The staff are welcoming, the food was fabulous and the setting unique. We enjoyed meeting new friends while having an amazing six course meal. You should do the wine pairing if you go, it was worth the extra charge. I would recommend the Tunnel to anyone who wants incredible food and something different then your regular restaurant experience.

Such a special dining experience! Love the themed atmosphere, thoughtful presentation of the food and friendly staff. Also, we had a vegetarian in our group and she was especially pleased at how her food was just as special as the rest (whereas often the vegetarian options at restaurants seem to be a burden, not given as much attention).

Overall I love the idea of a restaurant speakeasy. Secondly the fact that the chef rotates the menu and uses various countries or food genres for inspiration for each separate menu is unique. We loved every last bite of the food and especially with the wine pairings.

Unique private dining experience unlike any other restaurant in Telluride. The chief (Mark) is very talented and the food was some of the best my wife and I have ever had. (And we travel a lot, and enjoy our dining lifestyle.) The service is wonderful and unique, fashioned after an old world speak easy, secret password and all... Finding the restaurant was half the fun, their is no sign for “The Tunnel” (look for the sign for Zest’s Catering. But all that would mean nothing if the good wasn’t to die for... it was. If you are visiting Telluride, make a reservation, and be prepared for a wonderful dining experience. You will not be disappointed...

Very well thought out menu theme. The food was excellent and service was courteous and professional. Each of the 6 course and wine pairings were presented with perfect timing. Accomodations were made for eating restrictions despite menu being prefix menu.

Definitely do the wine parings if you drink.

What a unique experience! Small, intimate, and perhaps the best food in Telluride. The tasting menu is creative and puts flavors together beautifully. Chef Mark explains each course as it arrives. The one long table encourages making new friends and promotes conversation about the food. A must do experience.

A wonderful intimate dining experience, from the decor, to the service, to the exceptional food. Every course was delicious and perfectly paired with the wine selections. Chef Mark described each course, and Betsy was a terrific hostess and sever throughout. And with six courses, the portions were just right so there was definitely room for the delicious dessert. Definitely a must if you’re in Telluride.

Ambiance was cool but the amount/ quality of food for the $ not worth compared to competing restaurants. We were not wowed for the $400 bucks-two of us. Value closer to $150 max.

This ended up being a really exceptional meal. Everything was absolutely delicious and Chef Mark kindly accommodated my annoying allergies. We felt so special all night and ate and drank like the ballers we think we are with all that wine in our bellies! Thanks Mark and Betsy for making Wednesday night dinner into a wonderful memory for us!

We dined here and were joined two other small groups. The food was excellent and we made new friends. I loved not having to choose just one item. We enjoyed the wide variety dishes offered in Mark’s northern Italian menu. We also enjoyed the wine pairing. I can not decide which course was my favorite. I usually do not like mushrooms but the Marsala mushroom & shallot ragu on the polenta fries was amazing. The smoked Wild Boar & gnocchi soup was fabulous but I guess the Cherry smoked seared Duck was my favorite. We can not wait for the next menu!

Mark and staff were great, and the food preparation and presentation were awesome. Unique location, and the speakeasy and common table aspects are fun twists to make things different and exciting. Our menu was Cajun inspired, and he did a elevation and creative twist to all of the courses. We were a family of 4, joined by another family of 4, and then another party of 4. This made for a wonderful, entertaining dinner and visit. All of us were there to have fun and experience delicious cuisine, nice wine parings - and we were not disappointed. We'll be back anytime we are in town, and will tell our friends.

We had a great time at the Tunnel and look forward to coming back for a new cuisine! In a town where the food menus rarely if ever change and we’ve all tried all the restaurants, this was wonderful change for us! Definitely think it’d be a blast to take over the entire table with friends...we’ll try that sometime!

Our experience at the tunnel was nothing short of amazing. Mark was kind enough to accommodate the two of us as we missed our initial reservation due to canceled flights. The concept of the restraunt is awesome and they really put attention in the details to make the speakeasy vission come alive! The food was absolutely incredible, every dish was unique and truly delicious. We will be coming back again, can’t wait to see the menu themes to come!

One of the best dining experiences you will have in Telluride. We’ve been second home owners here for 19 years and we have our steady favorite restaurants which we love. Add The Tunnel to that small list - not a restaurant really but instead an intimate gourmet experience. Truly top notch.

We had a great experience at The Tunnel! Such a neat concept, and Mark has really turned it into a fun way to dine. We loved the South American menu and that the menu changes “themes” every month. The wine pairings were great, food was delicious and beautifully presented, service and obvious care were top notch. We’d love to come back!

A highly unique and intimate experience with other diners that you get to know. Terrific and special food and cocktails/wine. Loved the speakeasy concept and the chef’s determination to carry out the vision. Communication with the restaurant was quite good so we knew how to get to this hidden location and what to expect.
