With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The Tudor Rose in Coulsdon is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger. For a lighter bite, our spiralised carrot salad and Mediterranean mezze are both delectable, or for some sweet indulgence our melting golden chocolate bomb with caramel ice cream is sure to please!

    Food was very good once it arrived, however having booked for Lunch at 1300 hrs and seated and ordered drinks and main course by 1250hrs, was then treated to a long wait. Drinks were finally served at 1315 hrs and lunch was finally served at 1335hrs. After finishing main course waited another 15 mins or so with no further attention. Table not cleared, Sweet menu not offered, so got up, paid and left. Most dissapointing for a minor celebration lunch. Pub was not full, only saw about a dozen or so other customers (can understand why!)

    Served ingredients that were not on the menu with the sea bass. Looked like re-used sea bass. Left the whole thing

    They had run out of the main things on the menu e.g steak/roast beef. Service slow and poor.

    First time having a Sunday roast at Tudor rose and I ordered all the meats roast. Food was fantastic service was great will be coming back again

    Definite improvement over the last owners, who would not cook a steak to customers satisfaction, I did not go there for a couple of years after that, but happy to return now.
