I love this place. The food is always super on point, and I love the atmosphere. Great value too, I don’t know of another place in town where you can get this caliber food at this price point. Killer late night menu too!
We had some very yummy and interesting dishes that we enjoyed sharing. Duck buns were my favorite!
Treehouse is a great spot with original food and a unique outdoor dining area. The vegetarian dishes actually make up a decent portion of the menu and aren't pandering. Pretty much everything is sized for sharing, and it would be a mistake not to order several things to try. The butterbean caesar salad is killer.
This restaurant uses the trendy model of ordering multiple small plates to share as a table. It is certainly not going to be for everyone - even if you are familiar with and enjoy similar restaurants. This restaurant is exceptional, but it sort of forces its philosophy on you - so you will either love it or hate it. I personally do not like their unique approach to small plate dining. Dishes are brought out one at a time with 30 minutes between servings. I suppose this could make since if you want to mindfully savor every bite or stretch your dinner out all night to enjoy the company of your party. For me, it is a very inefficient way to have dinner. My wife and I had 2 or 3 bites of food, then waited half an hour to have a few more bites, and so on. In my opinion the menu is also overpriced by about 10%. The food was fantastic, the ambiance was a very fun balance of romantic and whimsical, and the service was excellent. You just need to know what you’re getting into on the front end.
Perfect place for family dinner celebration for my daughter’s 21st birthday. We had the treehouse dining room and we LOVED it!!! Thank you!!!
Lived up! And then some. Deserts. Awesome.
The treehouse is a charming restaurant with delicious food! We were just in town for two nights and decided to have our final dinner here and it did not disappoint. The frog legs, beef tartare, black eye pea salad and vindaloo lamb were all wonderful.
It was my second time coming here and I brought my family in from out of town and we went here for dinner. Even though they’re picky eaters they loved everything we ordered. The service is always really great and attentive. Forever one of my favorite spots.
This is a great place to enjoy amazing food in a lively setting. Our group of 5 was promptly seated and our server answered every question thoroughly. We shared several dishes and our favorites were the DIY pork buns and Caesar Salad
I brought key management from one of my clients to The Treehouse. We were all from out of town, and found the place to be a gem. Every dish from the starters to entrees were excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. I'll be back whenever i'm in Nashville!
I arrived early. 40-60 minutes later I was told I was forgotten about after I paid to park and bought drinks at the bar while I waited for my server to alert me my table was ready. I waited longer than I should have to inquire why I hadn’t been seated but I understand delays happen. Then I was told I was forgotten and I could then be seated except the menu was changing to a “late night menu”. Not acceptable. This ruined my entire Saturday night in Nashville. Now I had to find a place with a full menu. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! It sounds neat and the ambience is, however, they have what looked like 20 or fewer tables to the entire restaurant that are never filled and the tables they have are expressing complaints to staff. This place does not run right. It’s a good idea but needs to be sold to an owner that actually knows how to run a business and train his staff.
Cool atmosphere if you can actually sit in the treehouse. Very small portions that they try and convince you are big enough to share. Extremely pricey as well. Would not return.
Don’t get us wrong, the food was amazing. It’s just that after spending close to $100, we left hungry. Very small portions. Spaghetti was...maybe...a cupful.
Servers were great and friendly. The menu is creative but not executed well enough. Food was average at best
Everything great except very warm up in the tree house the other night even with 1 fan
Was hoping since it’s a treehouse it would have outdoor/backyard themes throughout. Eat outside to get a more treehouse vibe, the indoors is just a regular room. Food wasn’t anything that special and the menu wasn’t very large. $17 for 4 oysters...... The waitress suggested to order multiple things and share. Portions are REALLY small. Spaghetti was great and DIY duck biscuits. Service was good but seemed rushed.
We had dinner for 8, celebrating a birthday. Seating was a tiny bit cramped but turned out to be fine. GREAT server, explained dishes very well. We shared a bunch of different dishes. Blood sausage, roast chicken, pasta, black eyed peas, duck buns, cheeses, many more. All were great. Drinks were great. They have a very nice selection of wine, wine, beer and bourbons. We brought a birthday cake with us, they sliced and served it (for a small fee). It was an expensive night, yes. But every dish was wonderful, every one was made in a way I had never had it. Well worth every penny. Highly recommended.
Great service, unique menu items but every item we ordered was delicious and the atmosphere is fun!
My wife and I have been to the Treehouse in the past. This visit was very sub- par. Seating was not the best even though it was not busy, the menu was had changed for the worst, and mostly- the value was just not there. Portions were very small.
Fun location, had an outdoor table. Food was good but not remarkable. Overall pleasant but mediocre
Food was excellent. Unique dishes well prepared.
Service was excellent, whole staff seems to help all the tables.
Attempted to use Open Table certificate - Do NOT even try at this restaurant, They have no interest in them. Best to use somewhere else. Wouldn't redeem and felt shamed
We’d left specific allergy notes in our reservation using open table and called to confirm that the allergy needs of one guest could be met but when we were seated the restaurant acted like this was the first they’d heard of it. Somewhat luckily, our friend could still eat with us, unfortunately she was limited to the shrimp cocktail (divine), an undressed and tasteless custom salad and a significantly toned down lamb offering. For the rest of us, the food was quite enjoyable though our waitress seemed annoyed that we’d brought wine that we preferred to any offering on their menu. The DIY duck buns were a highlight as the fat was perfectly rendered and the tart cherry gelee was an inventive complement in place of hoisin.
We sat outside and it was perfect. Food was amazing as always but the steamed duck buns were the winner this visit. Sort of in a panic to go back a couple times before they change the menu, and I don't usually like duck.
Liked that it a casual place to eat. Considering you need a reservation to get a the door. The food was phenomenal!!!
Relaxing atmosphere, unique AND delicious food. The ribeye is worth the wait. Be open to the servers suggestions and sharing. Great place for dinner with others so you can try more menu items. All around enjoyable experience. We will be back!
Awesome experience at the treehouse we really enjoyed our meal there we ate there a year ago and the quality is assured
The Treehouse is super cute inside and in the outdoor seating area but the food was underwhelming. A squash salad looked sort of unappetizing when it arrived, and the dressing tasted like bottle Italian (maybe it needed more acid, like lemon or vinegar?). The steamed fish was lovely (as was the seared okra it came with) but it was on top of a super fishy and VERY salty tomato-based sauce with pureed squid that killed the dish. The lamb with pistachio was excellent (though maybe less salt on the eggplant) and the chocolate souffle was OK. The coconut sorbet was the real star of that dish though. I could have done without the cocoa nibs underneath the sorbet, which added an unpleasant bitterness that couldn't be escaped (because it was stuck to the sorbet). Service was great though, as was ambiance.
There was a wide variety of options on the menu that seemed to be locally and or/seasonally inspired. Wine menu was equally varied. I sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and made drinks recommendations. Server helpful with menu choices. Everything was amazingly delicious. I tried the Tomato salad, Pea Salad, and Scallop Crudo. I didn't really have room for the Spicy Warm Chocolate Cake but I'm glad I ordered it. High recommend. Would definitely go back.
Great place, with great food and to have dinner with friends.
The menu is limited and you have to pay to park in the lot closest to the restaurant. Great outdoor dining, but there were also flies everywhere!
This was certainly not our first visit to The Treehouse, but no matter how many times we've gone, we always have something new to rave about. This time we went for my husbands birthday, and not one course was a disappointment. No matter what tickles your taste buds, you'll be sure to find something delicious and unique! Our server was attentive and made sure all our needs were met, and I got the impression that the whole staff was just as excited about the offerings at The Treehouse as the person cooking the food.
Great food and very creative! We sat outside and it was such a nice atmosphere. Would go back for sure!
Food is great and amazing service. Only issue I had was the prices and portions. Portions are very small and the prices are pretty high for what you get. I would not recommend if you’re very hungry to have a meal at treehouse. I however will recommend highly for the service and overall atmosphere. I would give treehouse a 3.7 out of 5. Again I’m not a fan of paying a ton of money for appetizer size meals.
Fun and hip with some interesting food options! Great for the foodies out there! I gave a low score on ambiance only because there were flies everywhere.... seriously weird how many flies inside! They should invest in those fly strips or lightbulbs. Our table was by the window and at any point during our dinner, there were 5-7 flies buzzing around the window... and then buzzing around us during our meal. Such a bummer for a nice restaurant. The restaurant was immaculate and charming in decor, so again bizarre about the flies.
Random note: a woman came up to our table asking for money for her children... we gave her a 20 and she went up to another patron asking for money and the manager noticed and asked her to leave. Felt desperately sad for this woman...but also stunned on how brazen the request in a restaurant.
We had a difficult time understanding the hype attached to this highly over-rated restaurant. The main problem here is that everything is much too SALTY! This is no exaggeration, SALT was the dominant flavor of everything to the point of amazement.
Servers were friendly, bar seating was great. Patio was buggy and the music was too loud.
Over-hyped and over-priced and OVER SALTY.
It was my second visit - and even better than the first, which I thought could not be done!
A very nice place to take a date or just to hang out with friends. We did wish to see more appetizer (small plate options), but overall a well-rounded menu.
Girls get together. Great food and atmosphere!
Highly recommend the Tiny Tomato Salad and the Lamb Chops!
We were excited to try Treehouse, but underwhelmed. We ordered the mussels which had somewhat of a gross aftertaste and the accompanying saltines were unimpressive and dry. I was confused as to why the tomato salad had cooked tomatoes. When tomatoes are so fresh in July and with it being 90 degrees out, why cook them? The spaghetti and meatballs were good and we devoured this dish. The butter beans we ordered came out as green beans and only after we asked about it did they realize they were actually out of the butter beans. They still charged us for the dish. Hey, at least they had Bearwalker on draft and my wife liked her mixed drink! Too many good places in Nashville to try. I strongly doubt we'll go back anytime soon.
