Sincerely disappointing. The service wasn't attentive, we ordered the food (chicken and pork belly) and it took 35 minutes to bring it to us. We ordered two cakes (quite rare) and it took them 20 minutes to bring them. Besides, there were almost no dishes to order, as they didn't have any left, they told us. I don't recommend it at all.
The service seemed like they didn't want to work.
The so called ‘roast’ main courses were simply a a disaster.
The roast beef comes with a potato & olive cake which look like soggy crisps, the veg is one wilted green and the beef, my goodness was full of inedible tough sinew.
The extra roast fir potatoes were missed from the order so arrived super hot about 15 minutes after the mains. I’d expect them cut but they came whole, maybe that’s a thing nowadays.
Finally on the ‘roasts’ - ask anyone in the UK to describe a ‘roast’ and you’ll likely be told something very different to what Tramshed are pushing. Naive we were but misleading they are also.
The starters were delicious particularly the asparagus and leeks 8/10. The desserts were ok 6/10 but prettier than they were tasty.
The total bill came to roughly £55 per head which is extortionate for this level of food. Drinks were good, I had a savoury cocktail and the others had beer and other cocktails.
The staff were brilliant and very pleasant.
I’ve been here before and the overall experience was worth it but on this occasion I was embarrassed to have booked it.
Fortunately my guests will know that it wasn’t up to standard.
We won’t be going back here for a while if at all.
We didn’t raise this at the time because I don’t want to make my guests feel uncomfortable and it was more important we endured the food and spend quality time together than ruin the occasion.
Outstanding service from our waiter, Kairen. Food was impressive too. Will definitely be back for more.
The great weather did help to enjoy lunch outside. That’s said the food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. Definitely would recommend.
Really good food and service. The place is massive and can drown all the atmosphere, not very cosy.
good venue, nice atmosphere but the food was a bit off/random.
The customer service was really good! I loved the slush cocktail they had. Unfortunately the beef burgers did not taste very good and it wasn’t cooked properly.
Great atmosphere, nice airy space, good music, overall loved it.
Really nice food. Staff were incredibly nice. Bit pricey but we knew what we were letting ourselves in for.
not great at all. service & food was not good enough
Great service and the band was excellent and the tuna was incredible
Would highly recommend and will be rebooking
Food was not up to scratch, had to send the pork belly back as was not acceptable. Fries are better from the local kebab shop. Terrible service by staff that really couldn’t care less.
Great atmosphere and location. Food was very tasty. On the whole, the service was great - we did have a slight issue when they had a shift change but they were very apologetic and deducted the service from the bill. Will definitely go back.
Lovely bar staff and front of house. Waiters could have been more attentive, restaurant did not seem that busy. They forgot a side order. No ribeye left, surprised as advertised as a "chicken and steak" venue. Got served a bottle of wine from a different year to that advertised on the (limited) wine menu. Expensive night out.
Great food, great service, decent value the service was the best.
The hostess at the front desk wasn't particularly servile. She wouldn't give us a table outside even though most of them were unoccupied. She lied to us and said they were all reserved - fact is they weren't. Eventually, we managed to get hold of one through a different member of staff. The whole experience was spoiled by her behaviour, to be honest. Would return or recommend if it wasn't for her.
We had a lovely meal. The lamb sharing dish was incredible and the leak
First time here. Really good small plates especially when you’re not after a big meal
absolutely wonderful! Went with a girl friend for lunch. Great food. Fantastic cocktails and friendly and professional service
Service was quite slow
I ate at The Tramshed Project with friends and it was our first time there. A really cool spacious building, with live jazz band playing and a lively atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We loved the music but it was a little too loud to be able to have conversation. However this didn't put us off, we had a thoroughly good evening.
Great venue but food is underwhelming and overpriced
The food was okay but not to the level anticipated. Pink fir potatoes and fries were dry and hard. The chicken was sizeable but had some parts which were not well cooked. Staff seemed slightly uncoordinated and we needed to ask for the bread and butter three times before they brought it out. The space was really impressive and had a lot of potential. Sadly the Damien Hirst 'Cock and Bull' artwork installation was no longer there. Would consider going back for a casual meet-up with friends but some improvements are needed on the customer service front.
Food is great, the wine list could have been better.
Lovely and spacious, delicious food, nice service.
Very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable and bright. Service was slow and we had to catch the staff’s attention quite a bit (and it was not overly busy) - however, on the day this suited us as we were in no rush. On a different day, I might not have been so patient. Food was good, nice menu, different and presented well. I would definitely go back and I am sure the service will improve as they get back into the swing of things. One thing though, I did prefer original Tramshed - I miss it, even the weird cow!!
It was fine but quite disappointing overall. Food was just ok and quite salty. Service was good.
Lovely little tucked away place. We had drinks and nibbles. The lemonade cocktail was delicious and the oxtail croquettes were incredible! Will definitely come back for a main meal in the future as all the food looked incredible!
The imagination in the food was fantastic - all seasonal and through the various dishes. Compliments not just to the chef, but the service staff too. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful setting. Delicious food. We loved it. Lovely service. First outing since July 2020!!! We will repeat!
Went for a business meal and the place is absolutely lovely. Tucked away in a quiet road, the team was prepared, friendly and really organised.
The food is amazing, good portion and a business lunch turned into an absolutely lovely ladies lunch!
Would definitely come back if I'm in the area! Well done to the team.
Pros: Stunning food, wonderfully attentive service (they noticed when our desserts ticket hadn't been noticed by the kitchen before we did), let us stay past our reservation time and didn't rush us.
Cons: We were outdoors (as required). While they provided blankets, it was very cold and could have done with some heaters. Likewise sitting in an alley (with the amount of foot traffic that was happening around our table) wasn't the best. It wasn't raining (thankfully), but if it had been the umbrella over the table would not have saved us completely. I know everyone has had to make do in the circumstances, but the ambiance outsite could be improved a bit, if desired.
Otherwise, a really great experience.
Excellent outdoor space. Food delicious and service charming!
Nice courtyard area, although out of the sun. The food was good, except the lamb which was rather fatty.
Delicious food, loved the outdoor space. Fab, friendly service
Not what I expected. I was blown away and the staff were super friendly.
The food was delicious! Highly recommend the Raw Bream + the Grilled Cheese.
Really enjoyed it. Maybe a little pricey for what the food is but nice location and lovely staff.
Really good place to eat. I will definitely come back.
Great food and they went out of their way despite the weather.
