The food was fantastic! The menu has so many options. Each of us had something different and each entree was delicious. It was quite noisy but we were seated next to a large party that significantly contributed to the noise level.

Tobacco Company is a great restaurant if not only for the beautiful setting and old time feel. We've been a few times now and each time the food is great, and this visit was no exception. It took our server about 10 minutes to get to us because it was very busy, and drinks were also slow coming out. Unfortunately what could have been a great birthday dinner was impacted by us being seated next to various tables with very young children. This is not the restaurant's fault but it really kills the mood when there are young children screaming around you the entire dinner service and their parents are trying to get them to be quiet. At times we could hardly hold a conversation because of the noise. It was so disruptive that we wrapped our dinner up quickly and went to the bar downstairs. Probably not a helpful review but our experience was certainly not the expectations for dinner at an expensive restaurant.

We were on the way back from family vacation and spent one night in Richmond. The Tobacco Co Restaurant was the perfect spot to grab an amazing meal to celebrate the end of our trip. Food was excellent and the restaurant itself is amazing and unique! The upstairs hostess was not very friendly which we found off putting bc of the rest of the atmosphere made possible by the staff and ambiance.

Sad to say it started off bad and ended worse. One of our cocktails tasted like soap. Had to sent it back. They were unable to make another because it was “ pre made “. My Duck and my husbands Ribeye were both profoundly over cooked! The waiter was in over his head! We got the incorrect check twice. We will never return!

Food was excellent. She Crab Soup was creamy and crab filled. Salmon perfectly cooked. Prime rib was juicy. Pork tenderloin was tender and the sweet potatoes were delicious. Our server Thomas was attentive.

I arrived 30 mins early to my reservation and they still got us promptly seated. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and went over the specials with us and answered our questions. The appetizers came out so fast! We ordered the coconut shrimp and fried oysters. They were delicious. I ordered the salmon and it was by far the best salmon I've ever had. My husband got the prime rib and could not finish it because it was such a huge portion. We didn't have room for dessert. But the restaurant is just beautiful and romantic. I would highly recommend trying this establishment. We hope to be back again soon!

Absolutely loved the building. It was beautiful, unique and packed with history. Great appetizers. Entrees were mostly just steak. Our steaks were good. They could use a few additional sides but what they had we loved. Nice selection of desserts.

Wife’s family was visiting from out of town, so we took them out to dinner to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday. The food was delicious and our waitress Bekah B was excellent. She was extremely patient with us since my in-laws had never dined here before and also checked in with the kitchen to accommodate our party’s food allergies. Can’t wait to dine here again!
