We were the only ones in the restaurant in order to support local business. Our server was
Drinks were tasty, service friendly and attentive, and food was prepared by a chef who knows how to blend delicate flavors for a superb dish. Glad to have found this local gem!
A neighborhood gem... great food and a great atmosphere...
The service here was excellent and friendly.
I enjoyed the food I ordered- the Shrimp Toast and Olive Tapenade. The cornbread was very tasty.
I would like to return for dinner.
Great brunch experience! Service was gracious and welcoming. I enjoyed my hamburger and my companion liked the short rib hash. It's a wonderful neighborhood destination.
The food here is excellent! I especially liked the corn fritters appetizer, which was the hit of the table. Service was also great. My only complaints were that it was noisy and our table was a bit small for three people. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant!
Food was great, my friend ordered a burger, OMG it looked amazing. I had eggplant salad with grilled veggies it was great. Service excellent
We very much enjoyed our meal. We sat at the chef''s table, which was a fun experience. We liked our server, who handled things well on a busy Saturday night. The food was delicious. A good number of vegetarian and vegan options. The chef said he would consider putting a veggie burger on the menu. That would be great!
What a find! Wonderful ambiance-kind of neighborhoody feel, but nice enough for a date night-- awesome cocktails, unbelievable bourbon menu! And the food was-spectacular. Loved it- I will be coming back- often!
Always great ambience especially eating at the kitchen bar. Staff is super friendly and on top of all meal aspects. I even got tip top specific instructions on how to beat reheat my leftovers!! (And it worked!) Must try corn fritters, all brunch cocktails....
A benignly unoffensive meal with service that bordered on indifferent. From being greeted with a "what do you need" to being told we could only have at table next to the door or at the kitchen counter, Tilted Row isn't a place I'll likely visit again anytime soon.
We were glad to try this new place as recommended by a close friend who knows the owners. We were a party of six and got a corner booth/table. It was kinda hard to get in and out if you are sitting in the inside bench. However I don’t know if they have a lot of larger seating options. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bar tender even came over to ask what type of drinks we like and he customized a couple of drinks for us.
The corn bread, croquette and olives appy were tasty. Our entrees consisted of pork chops, salmon, steak, burger, pasta and scallops -they were all outstanding! Presentation was excellent too.
Our dessert - bread pudding and peach cake with local ice cream were amazing too. Oh- don’t forget the duck fat fries- yummy!
The location was well lit and looked fairly safe with no meter street parking. You need to check this place out and it won’t disappoint!
Met up with a friend. Great food and service!
This was our 2 nd visit. The wait staff is friendly , the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is DELICIOUS!!!
Love thus place for dinner and now brunch! I loved the omelette with a delicious sauce to top. Unfortunately the cinnamon rolls and fried chicken were sold out but I’ll be back to try those!
Great wait staff delicious meal
Amazing experience and meal. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Corn fritters were super yummy. Old fashioned made perfectly as well. We stumbled upon this place technically by accident - it will now be in our rotation for must-go-to spots!
The food we had was amazing even though the restaurant was very busy. We had the Corn Fritters, Caesar salad and Pistachio Crusted Trout. I would recommend all of those. Service was friendly and on point. Very large bourbon and whiskey menu.
So let me just say that the Tilted Row was great. The food was amazing and the service was good at trying to accommodate us. However, my wife is a vegetarian, and we came to dinner on Valentine’s Day, and didn’t know it was a pre-fixe menu, with very few (maybe 1 main dish), vegetarian options. The waitress was super awesome and tried really hard to make things work. I think
Made a reservation here for Valentine's Day based upon the stellar recommendation of a friend. Looking at the menu online, my boyfriend and I were so excited to try this place out; dreaming about the duck fat fries and the salmon and the chocolate cake. Unfortunately, when we arrived, all that was being offered was a prix-fixe menu, which didn't have the most diverse dietary selections available.
This reservation was made a month in advance, and yet there was no communication during the entire lead up to our reservation about the change in menu, either to us personally, or on their website. We lingered over the choices and decided to try the prix-fixe menu. In hindsight, this was a mistake.
My appetizer, lobster bisque, was brought to me lukewarm, and was too cold to continue eating by the time I was halfway through the soup. For dessert, my boyfriend and I decided to order the same option: champagne cake with buttercream and strawberries. His was brought out, and mine was forgotten. We prompted the server, who went to check on the order. After 10 minutes, mine was finally brought out, clearly slapped together in a rush, with a thin layer of icing and unfinished plating/presentation (when compared to the one my boyfriend had). The cakes themselves were unfortunately rather juvenile-looking. Physically hard to cut and to chew, with sparkly sprinkles strewn on top. I felt I could have purchased something more impressive from the pre-made dessert section at Giant.
Our waitress wasn't the most attentive either, which was unfortunate. At one point we went 45 minutes with a finished course without seeing her. When paying so much for what turned out to be such a poor experience, we had hoped that at least the service would have been stellar.
I had wanted to enjoy it so much more than I did. I had hoped to come back from brunch one day, but will need to let my memory of this experience heal first before thinking of venturing back.
As always, the food was quite good. Service, while very personable, pleasant, and helpful, seemed a bit stretched to be covering the entire site on a Sunday evening with just one person who seemed to be backed up by someone in training. It's still my favorite and go-to neighborhood place.
Very tasty! The salmon was outstanding. Beers come in a tiny cup.
Great food and the servers were doing their best but obviously over extended. We arrived at 5:30 ( there were 6 of us) and got drinks, and food. We didn’t order dessert as we had to be elsewhere after dinner. We were leaving and we had to flag down our poor wait staff as she was serving too many areas and running around. As she was so busy she forgot to adjust our drink prices for happy hour specials which added to the wait time. She was doing her best but could not give tables her attention. They need to hire more staff to make the experience as awesome as the food. The only food complaint was that the trout was lying in a pool of oil. The eggplant appetizer is the star of the show.
Sat at bar with view of food preparation. Fun and interesting. Need to go back and try some of the dishes I watched being prepared
Smooth staff, tasty dishes, all done timely before a show at the Meyerhoff. Parking amazingly easy in the 'hood, too.
Shrimp toast a must try
Table was not ready, but bought us drinks.
Great food and service thereafter
Best pork chop I've ever had. The flavor was intense. The potato croquette appetizer was wonderful. All of the food was extremely tasty and presented in a wonderful manner. The accompanying sauces were fantastic. The bartender/waiter in the bar areas was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Very good food in an informal, yet somewhat elegant, atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Loved the place... food and service were excellent. Our server, Arios, was great - knowledgeable about the menu and very courteous and pleasant. Music was too loud for the size of the room. For Sunday brunch, disco music did not set the right ambiance. When we arrived, light jazz was playing (perfect to set the atmosphere for dining) but it quickly turned to disco. The decor was great for a contemporary modern day bistro.
I brought my friends for brunch and they loved it!
Fabulous everything! The food was excellent, had some leftovers as we did the 3 course restaurant week menu. Highly recommend!
Great food, fantastic wine selection and phenomenal service. The Tilted Row just made the top of the list for date night.
Enjoyed the food . Presented well . Decent variety
Too loud
Another amazing meal at the Row. They outdid themselves for restaurant week. We’ll keep coming back!
We had a great time & were surprised to find that it was restaurant week after we got to the restaurant! The food was amazingly seasoned very well & I got the wine/liquor pairing which was lovely! Brad, our waitstaff was cool, calm, & professional which I liked! We will definitely be going back as I want to explore other items on their menu. Thank you! :)
We won't go again because even though we were at a far side table the noise level was so bad that we had to shout to hear our friends.
We went for Restaurant week, and the Tilted Row had a phenomenal menu. They were very busy and we had a wait a bit for our table to be ready, but the hostess kept us updated the entire time and we got a free appetizer. The food was incredible and the drinks were delicious. Their wine pairing was on point as well. Would recommend to anybody trying to have a nice dinner.
Great atmosphere and great food. Wish there were more vegetarian options.
Out to celebrate husband and sons birthday. Restaurant was not busy so they called to make sure we were still coming. We
We were the only people in the restaurant and received top notch service and food. Every thing was delicious and it was like going in a food exploration. No dish was simple or ordinary and the drinks were right in line with the dishes..simply an exploration of old made new. We loved and and had a great time
