    My first visit to The Tillery was June 24th, for lunch. Was very impressed with the level of customer service, especially since I didn't have a reservation and there were 3 of us. The food was absolutely great. Same group went back on Sunday for brunch. Even with a reservation, there was a wait because the restaurant was much busier and they seemed a little shorthanded with staff. Received same level of good customer service, and the food was wonderful.

    The food presentation was fine but usually a 3 egg omelet is ginormous. There should have been more feta inside. Also there was no bread suggested or even on the table. Server was fine.

    Lovely setting. Wide and open spaces good for private conversations. Small menu, but has all the basics. Attentive service. Special cosmo was excellent. The hummus appetizer was more than enough as a meal for one person. The humus selections were imaginative and the toasted pita excellent. The fresh veggies were a nice surprise. Loved the complimentary 2 hour parking and the high tech parking application.

    The food was interesting and very good. The main dining room was very noisy. Should have eaten in the bar, but you could hear music from a wedding upstairs. The servers were attentive, but we had to flag someone down for a water refill. Very cool decor.

    The crab cake Benedict served hot, the taste was okay; it would have been better if I had ordered the eggs over easy instead of medium fried. The ambiance was very nice. I will had this restaurant to my list of favorites.

    Our meal was delicious and the service was excellent. One thing though - if you’re serving ice cream with bacon in it, when you offer it you should let the customer know that there is bacon. I don’t think anyone would expect it, and not everyone eats it. But, everything was terrific and we highly recommend it.

    The drinks were good. I ordered the mussels and my partner and I shared them. It was her birthday and it was ruined we both ended up sick at the end of the night. I knew it was the mussels cause that’s the only thing we both ate together. Our friend didn’t get sick due to not trying the mussels.

    It wasn’t a very intimate space. The food was very good, but both the entree I travelled there for and the dessert we planned on having that were on the menu that night were not available. That was a very big disappointment for us. They should have printed a different menu for that night or notified us when we sat down.

    The restaurant itself is beautiful. The ambiance is gorgeous and the staff is delightful. However the food was horrendous. It looked amazing upon presentation. But the taste was bland. My table ordered the mussels and calimari. The calamari was halfway decent not the best but the mussels tasted like air. Which was confusing as it had so many toppings on it but it tasted like nothing. I've had mussels from red lobster that were better. I've had 5 dollar frozen mussels that have tasted better. So for 18 dollars for bland mussels, it was a shame. The alcoholic drink tasted watery and the still water tasted like tap. Honestly the best thing about the meal was the bread that came with the mussels. Which upon asking extra for they charged 3 dollars to the bill and I didn't find out until after I received the bill. I'd still buy the bread again though. I'd go here just to order the bread and nothing else.Overall it's a delightful place to go on a date, but if you're going for an exquisite meal, it's an absolutely pass.

    Chef Creger puts out a great menu with delicious food making you want to come back and try other dishes since you can't order everything. But do add the cheesecake for dessert, even if you need it to go. The greeting by the smiling team at the front was a warm and genuinely nice way to start the meal. The service and team helping was kind and on top of it all. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    I had made a reservation for Mother's Day well in advance. We arrived about 15 minutes early, and were asked to wait (this I had no problem with). We sat at a bar literally 10 feet from the host, however, it soon became apparent that they had forgotten that we had checked in. I waited until the reservation time, and then got in a line to re-check in, and then it became more obvious that they'd forgotten, as suddenly, they had a table available. We were shown to "table 42", and were seated. And we sat. And we sat. "Table 42" isn't in a corner, or in a niche, it is literally in the middle of the dining room. 15-20 minutes went by, no waters, no drink orders. We left, and a server caught us on the way out and offered to serve us, however, it wasn't their table, and we were fed up by that time anyway. This restaurant has been open over 6 months, and really should have issues like this worked out by now. We won't be back until there is new management. I noticed on the Yelp site for the Tillery that the same issue, either lack of attention or extremely slow service, has been an issue since they opened. On Mother's Day, a restaurant really need to be firing on all cylinders, and have the staffing necessary to accommodate a restaurant full of guests. We were very disappointed with our first (and only) visit.

    Went here for Mother’s Day. Disappointed in the menu. Was expect something a little more high end. The food was unimaginative and basic. The service was very good. Won’t go back.

    Food was only average, and overpriced. Mixing tomato with chicken just didn’t work. We felt like the waitress abandoned us halfway thru the meal, even though she was clearly present with other customers, and the management had to take over.

    The food was ok.Definitely not anything that makes you want to return. We had calamari and it was a very small helping that was bland. We both had the stuffed rockfish . The rockfish was good but the crabmeat didn’t taste like crabmeat. The waitress was horrible and obviously was not a people person. She acted like she really didn’t care . She never came to ask if we needed anything. She was non attentive and was playing Rock Paper Scissors with the other waitress. She didn’t ask did we want dessert or anything. Definitely will be costing Tillery lots of customers. I was excited to go here after reading all these great reviews but, I can’t believe any of them. I didn’t want to leave her a tip at all. We waited and waited for our food while she was playing Rock Paper Scissors and talking to the bartender and other waitress. She didn’t even smile.

    The service was very bad here. I asked host for a table for two, she asked did I have a reservation and I said yes I did have one. Then the other host whispered “oh guess we have to seat them”. As if basically they hadn’t wanted to seat us. Our waiter didn’t bring both of us water, he looked bothered when we asked for something , he didn’t even check on the food after it came out . Everything we needed we were just grabbing the nearest person walking past for anything... straws , water , sauces etc., Because he would not check on us at all. The food was very disappointing as well I had to send the Tillery hash back . It tasted like frozen undercooked yet mushy sweet potatoes was absolutely disgusting.

    The server was nice. We arrived at 9:15 our reservations were at 9:30, we were seated right away. The kitchen closed at 10:00 so we placed our order right away. The french fries could of been hotter to make them better but I enjoyed my brussel sprouts and crab dip.

    Had reservations and when we checked in at the hostess stand, the gentleman abruptly stated to come back in 10 minutes because there were no tables available yet. When we returned to the stand, his tone was more polite and welcoming. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were good and a little pricey. The ambiance was soothing. Nice place to go for adult night out or a special occasion.

    The restaurant has a nice decor and layout. However, the service was awful. Our server barely made eye contact and appeared to be experienced. The food was overpriced and just okay. I had an omelette with potatoes. The omelette was bland and greasy. I also had the french toast special...I don't even remember the flavor because it was so greasy and crunchy. I would never order this again. Overall, I was not impressed with the brunch. I may go back and try lunch or dinner just to give it one more try.
