Owned & run by brothers James and Tom Bainbridge, The Tilbury offers an exciting British a la carte menu, an extensive wine list & great service.

The A La Carte menu focuses on refined British cuisine and great flavour combinations while the pub menu offers classics like fish & chips. The comfortable pub can offer premium spirits, quality wines, interesting soft drink choices & a wide range of gins.

Great service is led by Iain & Ashima who has 3 Michelin star experience – so you are sure to feel welcome. The kitchen is run by Thomas, an accomplished self taught cook who has a passion for quality ingredients & experimenting with flavours.

Perfect evening for aperitif's in the garden followed by a meal that worked in every way possible. Throw in a terrific wine recommendation from Ashmira plus the usual high level of service from the team then, what more do you want? Taxi! 11/10 as Mr Marshall once said.

We were surprised how popular The Tilbury is on a Wednesday lunch time. That said, it did not make for a noisy lunch or effect the service, which was impeccable from start to finish. Laura and Louise who looked after us were appropriately friendly; both were knowledgeable about the food and wine menu. Each dish was perfectly prepared, excellently presented and, importantly, flavoursome. All in all an excellent lunch, with great services and superb value. Thank you The Tilbury team, we will be back!

Excellent food! Very happy with service and will definately return. The only negative point was that the noise level was so loud at times we found it hard to converse. The restaurant was not full so it would be even more difficult in this case if it were. Saying that-we really enjoyed the meal and will return.

Very Very Nice Service Excellent. Wine first rate. Vegetarian starter was very nice indeed pork ribeye original and with slaw and pigs ears excellent
