    Gorgeous looking pub, staff were super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were engaging and conversational. Food was spectacular! We had the lamb rump and pork wellington…wow! Couldn’t fault any of it. Will definitely be back. We had a wonderful evening! Thank you.

    Poor quality food with small portions and therefore not good value for prices charged. The lamb rump was a meagre amount of meat and the King Prawn Thai curry consisted of 5 or 6 very average sized prawns. Poor value again. Tried a trifle for dessert which consisted of lots of cream, very little fruit and watery tasting jelly. All for £9. £100 for 2 poor main courses, one poor dessert and an expensive but very average tasting bottle of wine. Never again thank you!

    The food was very good and the place had a a nice ambiance, in part thanks to the talented singer. We were glad we were not sat too close to her PA system though! Staff were great, attentive and friendly. It is quite pricey but we’ll be back.

    Food was delicious as always, unfortunately it was very busy and seemed to be short staffed so usual excellent service was lacking 🙁

    A welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. We started with the small bites, which were larger than expected and were delicious. Mains, catch of the day (hake), and the oxtail cottage pie were excellent. No room for pudding. Will return.
