   Service was great food wasn’t bad but not fantastic I was so disappointed with the cleanliness of the chairs and carpets especially as you walked around towards the toilet door dog water bowls on the carpets next to dining tables with nobody sitting at them staircase and carpets filthy walking up to gents toilet not a great look 👀

   I have already written a terrible review about this place but it has mysteriously not shown up online. Food looked fine when it arrived, but tepid. One meal sent back as fish literally like leather. Had to reorder two mains after our starter arrived as they had "run out", despite having ordered at least 3/4 an hour before. Service appalling. Our 3 mains arrived and I had to go hunting for cutlery. The bill was wrong - two additional drinks on it. I won't dash back in a hurry. The only praise was for the fish pie. Our lucky friend who was given the last one before we were told to reorder said it was delicious.

   I have eaten in this restaurant quite a few times. This time the food was cold and two of the 4 of us had to send our food back. The chips were freezing and both the chicken and the beef were cold too. They did replace but I'm afraid that I don't think I would revisit this restaurant. I noticed that another table had issues too. Was this a Chef / kitchen hand issue ? The restaurant was not busy at this time. Not good enough ! Sad to see a place go down because of lack of attention to detail. I have to say that the waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful although there was no 'sorry' for having to send food back.
