The starters was burnt, seats not particularly comfortable ambiance well there isn't any, white wine warm, cheap night out, my advice spend more money on a better restaurant.

We have eaten at the Thyme several times and really love it. The food is tasty, the menu has lots of choice, the staff are charming, and the prices are reasonable. It's more personal than some of the chain restaurants. Really a lovely place.

Food good, Service friendly n welcoming, setting well presented, atmosphere a little lacking as new ownership so needs more recommendations to make more popular...but the food and drinks made up for lack of people. Once the name gets known you will struggle to book a table.

First visit to the restaurant with no disappointment at all! Great food and excellent service. Will definitely come again for more.

Went as a table of four, service was friendly and helpful, nice relaxed atmosphere and we all enjoyed our meals particularly the tiramisu.

Food and service were very good. Restaurant could be a little noisy so we requested a quiet table which was in the window.

We are going again on Christmas Eve, barely a week after our last visit which is proof of how much we enjoyed it. It is our favourite place for celebrations.
We both had the lamb which was very tender. The service was friendly but efficient . It is a very lucky find.

This restaurant was chosen by my son for his 15th birthday after checking menu and previous reviews. We had a lovely night, the food was really very nice and the service was faultless, they acheived the exact correct level of attentiveness needed for a extremely good dining experience. The set menu which myself and daughter had was very good value and you never thought for a moment that it was the poor relation of the al la carte menu which my son and wife chose from. The food was served nice and hot as we always appreciate and not always achieved elsewhere. We would not hesitate to go back there and definitely recommend to anyone.

The service was both friendly and efficient. All the food was delicious. The range of dishes was quite wide, catering for all tastes. We had three different main courses and all were excellent. The decor is simple but effective. We intend to visit Thyme frequently in the near future. A convenient car park is situated nearby.

Unfortunately my main meal had hard potatoes which spoiled it but I’d say overall the restaurant was ok. Not the 5 stars I had seen other viewers had given it in here

We really enjoyed our experience at The Thyme. The menu is not extensive, but I feel that is a good thing as they cook it well. The staff are very informative and friendly without being intrusive.
This is definitely one I will visit again and again.

What a great little restaurant. We've struggled to find a good local Italian until now. Menu is varied and great to have some dishes available in smaller portions. Quality of food was fantastic. There was a slight issue with one of our mains but that was soon rectified and apologies made. We would definitely recommend and will be back

We took our daughter and partner on Saturday night and the food was lovely and service excellent as always we have not had a bad meal there and would recommend to friends and family

We always have good food and wine. The service is always excellent we took friends who had not been before and they were very impressed and would go again.

Sat right at back next to wall, quite hot, noise levels quite high. Food nice, felt a bit out of the way and couldn't enjoy the ambience

The food was good and portions huge. It was very quiet so was conscious that as a table of six including two children (playing card games) we might have been a bit noisy for the rest of the customers. Sorry.

Very nice local restaurant. Freshly prepared food and reasonable prices. Should maybe considering varying menu or having 'specials' as would visit more often if there were seasonal changes to dishes available. Lots of completion in the local area so need to keep the customers interest by offering fresh options

High class restaurant in central Chislehurst. Small menu but with food of an excellent disposition Always a pleasure to go here

Our first visit was disappointing. The crab starter did not taste of crab and the chicken escalopes were dry - a sauce needed. Spaghetti Sauce was not a good accompaniment.

This is our 3rd visit to the Thyme and on each occasion the food has been lovely, ambience enjoyable and the staff very attentive I would recommend this restaurant

Excellent value. Everything is freshly cooked and the service is very good. Prices of drinks are reasonable and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere.

Very enjoyable mid week, early evening meal with attentive (but not intrusive) staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back sometime...highly recommended for those wanting to dine in a peaceful restaurant.

We went on bank holiday Monday for lunch, not busy at all so expect that helped..very good service and food delicious.. the 3 courses for £12.95 were outstanding..
