The Three Monkeys Bar
The Three Monkeys has two large bars on both floors and a heated, covered patio. The outdoor patio is a favorite spot for corporate events and celebrations and also a great place to just chill. Whatever the occasion, The Three Monkeys will always serve you the very best drinks, food, and sports!
Fantastic burgers and wings - staff are always pleased to accomodate sports channel requests.
Fabulous service. Our server was Claire. She was running the bar and tables effortlessly. Great food! Definitely recommend!
This is a flat out bar. There really is no dining area per Se. It was very loud so I’m glad I was alone. I cant imagine having a conversation with someone at a table there. I’m not sure the disco fries even had gravy although the chicken tenders were good although how can you mess those up. Servers were very attentive though!
A bit loud! A real bar, not a restaurant. Good food.
Great variety of food and not typical bar food. Would definitely return.
It was awesome. Best Burger in Town. Exzellent Service. Great beer!
Food is surprisingly good for a bar. Seats are all stools so it’s not comfortable for any extended length of time.
Food was good but took awhile for Sunday Brunch. We sat at the bar because the bar tables (which was the only are open for brunch) were TINY. The perplexing issue was the flighty bar tender who was more interested in finding channels on the TV screens then serving her customers...tried for 20 minutes to get her to cash us out and finally had to scrape together enough Bill's and loose change to pay the bills with a slip of a tip so we could walk...her talents would be better suited for some other industry...good food...seemingly fun place...but have lots of time.
Went fir pre theater lunch. It was a real bar! Food was really good however... staff was extremely caring and efficient. Sat on bar stools at a high bar table which we did not prefer but that s what this establishment is. On the same street as Studio 54 so was extremely convenient.. especially in inclement weather.
We ate pre-theatre. Our food was great! Nice Beer and Wine selections. We were caught (a bit) by a wait-staff shift change. We'll be back.
Went here for a before show dinner and was not dissatisfied. Food and service was amazing!
Party of 8. Seated at 7:15pm with a reservation and with tickets to an 8PM Broadway show, so we stressed that we were ordering immediately and we ordered basics: cheeseburgers, fries and soda. After 30 minutes without food, I reminded the waitress that we were crunched for time. Food did not arrive until 7:58 - almost 45 minutes. Wolfed it down and the food was so-so. Still gave a good tip to the waitress because it wasn't her fault and she was clearly upset at the kitchen. I am a New Yorker and have been to over 100 shows and concerts in the theater district and MSG and all other Manhattan restaurants - especially pubs - know how to get you in and out. I could understand if there were hoards of other diners waiting - which there were not - or if we ordered 8 different things with apps, etc. Go here for a beer - had plenty of time to scour the beer menu - but don't order food; and if you have show tickets, pick any one of the 25 pubs in the area and you'll find better food and service.
This was the only bar not on our researched list before coming to NYC, so it was a chance. This chance paid off as it was amazing!
Lovely staff, waitress came over straight away with glasses of water then took our drinks order. Cocktails were excellent, right up there with the more expensive ones. We ordered food, starters and mains. Food came quickly too. All our starters and mains were very tasty and we’ll presented. I would strongly recommend this bar and it’s now on our own approved list of bars/ restaurants for our return visit to NYC!
Main dining area is a little too loud for general conversation. But if you don't want conversation - then will suit. Staff very accommodating given we were a mixed group of adults and kids needing to talk. They moved us from the main dining and set up our table in the 'garden' (winterized) area. Food average pub-grade but pretty tasty.
Excellent spot for a bite and a drink before seeing The Late Show!
So freaking loud! Mediocre food. Would not recommend to my worst enemy... Seriously.
Service was terrible! Never checked in on us. Customer service was flat out terrible. Food was very good.
It's a pub....there's no need for a reservation??? Not sure why it's on Opentable? First come first serve.
Great bar with great food, drinks and service
We went to the Three Monkeys for a date night bite to eat, before heading over to The Late Show... and we were quite pleased with the service and quality of food. The drinks were expertly made and the service was attentive, while allowing for a relaxed meal. We never felt rushed. A party of 12 was easily accommodated in the seating area (comfy stools and tall tables that can be pushed together). Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Broadway area of NY.
Great food and drinks!
We stopped in for drinks and apps before a show. This place was perfect for our group and the drinks and apps were great!
Awesome! Brillant! Bacon Burger was incredible. And German Beer! Radeberger 👍
Great location. My second time here and would definitely be back to try some of the other plates.
We chose this spot since it was close to our friend's job. It has several levels and plenty of screens to see your favourite teams. Our server, Emel, was terrific. We will return.
Making a reservation via OpenTable was futile.
Reasonably priced good-tasting brunch that included a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa
Wasn't sure we would like it when we walked in...at 8pm it was empty but by 9pm it was full. The service was excellent and the brisket sliders were really delicious. Ended up being a good casual spot in Midtown with large TVs to watch a game.
Very nice Saturday brunch. Good food and beer!
We wanted a place to have lunch near Studio 54 and found good reviews online about Three Monkeys Bar. It met our expectations. Good food. Good service. Good value.
It's a nice bar/restaurant combination. Great midtown location to boot.
We choose this restaurant to dine before seeing Diana Ross at City Center; excellent choice within walking distance to the theatre; quiet before 5pm but afterwards it was lively
My friend and I wanted to try a new bar and loved it. The drinks were great, as was the food
Great food and drinks, but a little expensive.
We went to the Three Monkeys because it was between the two venues that
we were attending. Two of us were going to a show on 47th street and two were
going to a performance on 57th street. We had small plates and enjoyed the food
along with the craft beer. Staff was very nice and attentive.
Service was very good. A good stop before the play!
Kind of loud spot to try craft beer with bar food. No frills, good for catching up with friends.
A nice, casual place, conveniently located near Studio 54 if you have tickets. Tables were all high tops, usually with a stool, so not very comfortable. But the food was tasty, the drinks fairly priced, and the service friendly. Our table was next to their coat closet and I was continuously subjected to the door being opened at my back. There should be a better plan.
Very last minute stop to eat. Tables were wobbly and old. Asked to exchange and was told she would be levels on bottom. Apps were good but overall, would not return.
Great tap list! We had the lamburger and Diablo Mussels Yum!!
